    This is the only game I ever saw where you play multiple characters at once. It's a unique experience with an amazing story and good graphics. Only thing I asked myself is why there is no support for local multiplayer...

    No Spoilers here. I have to say while I played this short gem, I didn't quite get the good scores. You control the two brothers at the same time with the left and right analogue stick / bumper. You solve -not too hard but intuitive - puzzles in a beautiful designed linear world and are quite restricted in where you can go.

    I actually found controlling both annoying. Maybe it would have    No Spoilers here. I have to say while I played this short gem, I didn't quite get the good scores. You control the two brothers at the same time with the left and right analogue stick / bumper. You solve -not too hard but intuitive - puzzles in a beautiful designed linear world and are quite restricted in where you can go.

    I actually found controlling both annoying. Maybe it would have clicked some time, but after 3 hours I finished the game, so there never was enough time for that.

    That all said, the last part of the game was brilliant. At a key moment in the story it became intense and I had moments which made me think back at all that happened in the last 3 hours and how clear everything felt. Not only storywise it was a WOW moment but also gameplay related.

    Good art style, but is not that good graphics for 2013. But this game bright on criativity, the "2 player" (but you play alone, and that is sad for the game) mechanics are good, simple puzzles, but works. Good and emotional history, the interactivity with the scenery is cool, the two caracthers are different and does different things,
    according to their personalities.

    A heartwarming conming of age story about two brothers in search of a cure for their dying father.

    Wow. This game blew me away. It is short but extremely well done. Story - excellent Gameplay - excellent Graphics - excellent One of the few games that made me cry :-( P.S. In this game you control the two brothers. It can be played alone, no problem.     A very short but beautifully told story about two brothers on a quest to save their dad. The controls of this game aren't anything phenomenal but it's how it all ties together that make it a one of a kind experience that's definetely worth your time.

    It is a fabulous co-op game with a beautiful storyline and gameplay. The game is about 3 hrs short and I played it alone but if you have a sibling, I would definitely recommend playing it with them. The story revolves around 2 brothers on a journey to find the cure for their sick father. The game has some beautiful moments and the music shines throughout the game. The game ending with itsIt is a fabulous co-op game with a beautiful storyline and gameplay. The game is about 3 hrs short and I played it alone but if you have a sibling, I would definitely recommend playing it with them.     game play is really innovative and works pretty good.
    music works at its best and suits the story pretty good with its sad yet uprising atmosphere.

Original gameplay, good storytelling with intense / beautiful moments , great level design, given you like the genre and didn't pay full price for it (3 € for me). Graphics are quite good still in 2020 (auto HDR on XSX may help). Why isn't it a 9-10 ? Well, the story lack a bit of thickness from my point of view, which is due to it being very short (3-4A gem like others said before me. Original gameplay, good storytelling with intense / beautiful moments , great level design, given you like the genre and didn't pay full price for it (3 € for me).     Great "coop" game, where you can play with yourself only. It was really interesting idea and mechanics and I would recommend it to anyone willing to try something new. The game is also short enough to not get boring.

All along the game you will see benches on which you can sit an simply admire landscapes and the genius of artistic direction. These moments oozes of peaceful serenity. Scenario is emotional, touching and feels authentic even if it takes place in an imaginary world. Characters are attractive and brilliantlyBeautiful game. Awesome graphics and lighting with incredible attention to details. All along the game you will see benches on which you can sit an simply admire landscapes and the genius of artistic direction. These moments oozes of peaceful serenity. Scenario is emotional, touching and feels authentic even if it takes place in an imaginary world. Characters are attractive and brilliantly developped. Each has his own personality and skills. The feeling of leaving family to face a perilous journey is omnipresent. Gameplay is truly innovative by including the possibility to play both brothers at the same time. The fact that they complete each other is and feels amazing. Controls were a bit confusing at first sight (I played with mouse and keyboard until the end, yeah I have this kind of courage). Ending (no spoil) is truly breathtaking.     The most beautiful game I've ever played--not just visually, but also in terms of the tale it tells and how the game tells it. One of the absolute best examples of mechanic- as-narrative that I've ever seen, making this a story which can *only* be told by a video game. Simply a work of art.

    Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is such a beautiful and magical tapestry of story weaving. The minimalistic design told through imagery, ambiance and music come together to create a gem of an experience. Simply a masterpiece.

    Brothers, unlike many recent indie hits, is very down to earth. It is not rife with intellectual puzzles like Braid, it is not as open to interpretations as Journey. It just makes you think about simple human values.
