    The second half of Broken Sword: The Serpent's Curse is a great step forward and it's better than the first. Puzzles are clever and the story, epilogue aside, it's fine too. Take a chance and go with Nico and George: and don't forget Paris.

    Even though the project as a whole still feels uneven, the strong puzzles in Broken Swords' final chapter right some of the first part's wrongs.

    Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse, Part 2 is another admirable attempt at recapturing everything that was great about the adventure series, complete with more improved puzzles and new exotic locations to visit.

    The first part wasn't perfect, but at least in comparison with the second part it remained solid and well-executed regarding its narrative and technical aspects of the game. So the second part once for all buries all hopes for a worthy successor to the original title. However, there is still a link between the renowned brand name and still quite an engaging yet outdated adventure game.

    As it stands, while highly enjoyable, it’s strictly for fans. Hopefully they waited for both parts to be available: the decision to split it remains pig-headed and it undoubtedly works best as a coherent whole. Still, if you played and enjoyed part one, this is an admirable conclusion to a loveable series.

    This second part of Broken Sword 5 is quite better in its atmosphere, but it still suffers the same issues, and the ending is a bit disappointing. That's still a nice point n' click though, and now the story is complete.

    Broken Sword 5's second part is noticeably shorter, coming in at fewer than five hours when compared to the first part's six, and its linear nature diminishes the joy of exploration. Nevertheless, Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse is a solid installment in the nearly 20-year-old franchise, delivering a captivating story with great characters and loads of good-natured humor.

    Now that both parts are released, it plays and feels like a good old point&click game. The voiceover feels a bit polished in the second part, definitely packs more love than before. However, what I still don't get is why Nico is barely playable? The puzzles seemed to be more logical than I remembered, got stuck only twice due to missed hotspots. I would definitely support the next installment.… Full Review »

    ‘Broken Sword 5: The Serpent’s Curse’ is not quite as good as the first two games in the series, but then very few games are and it is made all the more tragic by the fact that without its first half, it perhaps could have been. But fans of the series and/or genre will find a game which is full of witty dialogue, familiar characters and challenging new puzzles.    … Full Review »

The graphic of the background and the characters is great. The story is interesting and accelerates from a quiet investigation toward a fast-paced journey around the world. The game is a little too easy, but in the second episodes there are a couple of very tough riddles. The voice acting is perfect, both in english and in italian. I seriously hope Revolution will continue on producing these games, because they're one of the few companies that still understand how an adventure game should be made.… Full Review »
