Nov 10, 2020Great gameplay is almost (but not quite) enough to save a game that's desperately thin on content, context, and replayability. Maybe this game is a few updates away from greatness. Probably not.

Nov 18, 2020This is quite possibly the worst shooter experience I had in my life. Even Bodycount was better.

Apr 11, 2021Fun game and great music. Aesthetic and style of the game is also good. Balance and longevity needs some work.
-
Sep 24, 2020Hampered by the fact that it's a roguelike. Very solid soundtrack and gameplay that would be more enjoyable if 4 mistakes didn't send you back to the start of the game. Heavily reliant on a good seed. Crypt of the Necrodancer was better as Cadence of Hyrule, and I look forward to a more well-balanced, better-paced version of this game with an actual difficulty curve.

Oct 15, 2020The graphics are (deliberately?) oversaturated and washed out, even after adjusting the settings. Everything is just slightly different shades of one color.
Range on weapons is a joke. Starting pistol isn't a gun it's a **** club. If your enemy is out of melee range your bullets vanish.
Neat idea, poor execution. -
Jun 27, 2022Game can't be enjoyed because the high risk of epilepsy seizures. Give a toggle option to the point it is playable without that risk.

Oct 1, 2020I can't get enough of it. Amazing replayability!! AAA games as always out of the game))

Jun 22, 2021Short game with little content (even for rougelite). Graphic design hurts eyes. Rooms and enemies are boring. Some weapons or items ruining the game (run) - it's ok in TBOI, but BPM is no match the amount of varieties of items and their effects.

Nov 16, 2022Cool game. Awesome music, really gets you into the rhythm and it's hard to stop. However, my eyes are bleeding from so much orange...
Besides, not much reason to play BPM now when Metal: Hellsinger exists. -
Sep 20, 2020Phenomenal game. I love the rhythm and challenge it brings to the table. The game is not perfect by any means, but I think the sheer creativity and uniqueness this game has makes this a masterpiece for $20. I'm not even rly into this kind of music, but holy crap do I love it here. If you like something like Doom and love that sort of music I couldn't recommend it to you more

Sep 16, 2020This is a love me or hate me game. If the soundtrack and gameplay clicks for you, you will have a great time and the flaws wont bother so much. Hopefully overtime the devs can update the ui and balancing so the game feel better balanced and polished. I am having a blast playing it!! Its been awhile since I had so much fun. Also, its a rather cheap game so you can easily give it a chance.

Sep 17, 2020It is really good shooter version of "Crypt of the Necrodancer". Highly recommended!
-
Sep 18, 2020I'm not a fan of the art style at all, but regardless, the gameplay is extremely rewarding to learn and very fun, the game is somewhat simple, but worth a try nonetheless.

Oct 15, 2020The game isn't perfect, it's still very much finding where it stands but it's a fantastic concept and it executes it well, stick with this game and support the developer, it deserves to be worked on further.
-
Dec 26, 2020FUn game with an interesting new idea, it deserves your time and attention. Really hope the music element is mixed in with even more types of games in the future.
-
Feb 11, 2021very nice idea. It has much content especially after the Overdrive update but of course has a few issues here and there so don't expect a masterpiece but you can have much fun with it

Aug 31, 2021Great rogue-like shooter with an interesting twist. The game is really elevated by the energetic music. Bit of a learning curve at the beginning but after a few runs you start to automatically sync your actions to the beat.
Only complaint is that in the last levels it's harder to clear standard rooms than defeating the bosses. -
Sep 21, 2021Наиграл часов 60 на пиратке, сегодня иду покупать лицензию, чтоб поддержать разработчиков. Даже скидку ждать не буду. Великолепная игра, жду дополнений!

Dec 13, 2021Great idea, pretty nice visual style (especially Asgard Crypts), and of course very cool soundtrack.
Sometimes because of style (Svartalfheim), eyes are getting tired. But still, this game is amazing -
Aug 31, 2022from the soundtrack to the art style to the gameplay this game goes above and beyond and I'm all for it

Jun 15, 2023A fun arcade rhythm game that took a dozen or so tries for me to get the hang of, and then two days to beat with one of the playable characters. I don't the point of trying to beat it again, but I still occasionally play it as a warm up for playing something else. Also, music's banging.
-
Mar 6, 2023I never could seem to quite get down how to play this game. I like the idea in concept, but playing it might have turned me off from all rhythm shooters entirely.
It's not bad, but I just don't think it's for me.

Feb 12, 2025On one hand, BPM: Bullets Per Minute is a neat mix of FPS and rhythm gameplay. On the other one, it's a terribly unbalanced roguelike that is also in dire need of variety. Throw all these in a bowl, and the end result is a soup with a couple of ingredients that shouldn't be here… but, somehow the taste remains pretty darn good. After all, how can you go wrong with a game where you are in control of a Valkyrie that blasts monsters in Asgard with her shotgun, in sync with some fine heavy metal.

Dec 16, 2021After many tries, I did eventually find my way to and through the final boss, and all I wanted to do was do it again. I suppose in a lot of ways, that’s just the nature of roguelike games. They often offer a near bottomless replay value thanks to the “structured but random” structure of the format. This combined with the joy of bobbing your head along and clicking when you do so makes the experience a ton of fun and feel great. The quantity of content isn’t huge, but for $20 USD, I certainly think it is well worth the money.

Jul 13, 2021BPM: Bullets Per Minute is a fun shooter with a banging soundtrack, but its roguelike elements feel a tad undercooked. Still, where else can you dance around like a demon slayer while tearing through the hordes of hell, shooting on the beat and keeping the party going?
