Mar 7, 2017BOOR remains an enthralling, charming game that, with its beautifully rendered, challenging levels and innovative central mechanic, will have you hooked from beginning to end.
-
Feb 27, 2017A game made by only one person that manages to entertain as long as it lasts, but it doesn't last very long. Its extremely low price tag makes sense.

Feb 16, 2017I wish I could recommend this whole-heartily, but as it is now, this game is only for those looking for a short but serious challenge.
-
Mar 9, 2017BOOR is a good indie game, still it is not more than simply enjoyable. The levels have some insufficient diversity, and the game is in need of some finishing touches.

Feb 22, 2017For those looking for the kind of wind-me-down indie title that can still rustle up a good, nuanced frustration from time to time, BOOR will meet that demand (if not exceed it) without letting its potential annoyances get in the way or become the focal point. Unfortunately, there’s not much else to find in this brief puzzle-platformer that warrants the case a bulk of the developer’s true focus was really, truly invested that deeply. The simplified and illustrative presentation is a pleasant assortment of pinkish-reds and greyscale tones and the way this basic geometry can at times deliver something a little more complex and demanding in the gameplay front can be regarded the game’s real height at points. A pleasant experience it may be, just don’t expect anything other than conformity to a tried-and-tested formula.

Feb 16, 2017BOOR is a darkly beautiful game with plenty of interesting puzzles to keep you engaged, but the lack of narrative progression lets it down.
