Mar 6, 2020it's pretty but it gets samey too fast and unskippable slow-mo parts make it boring

Nov 8, 2020I don't really know what to say about this game. The art style and the music are ok, nothing to criticize about those. I can't tell much about the story since the gameplay is SO BORING that I couldn't care less to go through it.
It feels like a mobile game, with quite dumb mechanics and not much to enjoy about it. -
Mar 3, 2020A flawed take on Hotline Miami that suffers from inconsistent level design and shallow gameplay. It's as if someone took a mobile game, stripped it of its microtransactions, and forgot to replace the lost game mechanics. The resulting soup is pretty darn thin.

Dec 18, 2020One of the most underrated and unheard of titles of 2020, what a shame as its also one of the best action fueled games I have ever played.
-
May 3, 2021A true gem of strategic twitch gameplay design. The only downside is it ran kind of poorly for me.
-
May 24, 2022it's alright. Hotline Miami -like game, quick and snappy. It's fun for the first 15-30 mins, but gameplay doesn't change at all.

Apr 3, 2022A true gem of strategic twitch gameplay design. The only downside is it ran kind of poorly for me.

Mar 28, 2021Colorful, frantic, and with plenty of weapons at our disposal, Bloodroots is a nice surprise that will certainly appeal to those who enjoy the kind of one-hit-kill action Hotline Miami offered.

Mar 25, 2021A good arcade game, too bad for excessive repetitiveness.

Sep 14, 2020Bloodroots is a good game with different finishes and links in the use of items, but it clearly lacks development, and the bright mechanics and blood are too quickly exhausted. And unlike My Friend Pedro or Hotline Miami, there is no feeling of excitement and pleasure from the just-tested combat combination. This is probably the main reason for frustration.
