    Blitzkrieg 3 wants to be a serious, hardcore game, but in reality, this is light strategy fare. It's best consumed in short, two hours tops, sessions.

    The return of the popular WWII RTS works quite well. Blitzkrieg 3 fells more like the remake of its predecessor, but that is not necessarily the bad thing. Fans of the series will be happy and, thanks to the low difficulty, even the newcomers will not have trouble delving into the game.

    The winning combination of World War II, asynchronous multiplayer and RPG loot did not bring the jackpot. Still, the game offers a great deal of entertainment for those who are interested in a faster and easier experience than the Company of Heroes 2 offers. [Issue#274]

    Although you’re given a solid level of control over individual squads, you have little control over the game as a whole. Nothing about the game reaches out to the player and pulls them into an immersive WWII experience.

    It might have been a good game and it could be six months from now. However, after two years in Early Access and 7 patches later there isIt might have been a good game and it could be six months from now. However, after two years in Early Access and 7 patches later there is still a staggering amount of bugs causing crashes, disconnections as well as shoddy mission design (I wasn't aware that the Allies actually had laser guided artillery in WW2, otherwise no howitzer could be THAT accurate) make this experience a real pain. Avoid at all costs or buy on a sale, once this mess of a game is fixed.… Full Review »
