Blair Witch 3 makes no effort at an atmosphere of foreboding and danger. Instead, they made it dark. But the dark isn't scary if you know there isn't something in it to be afraid of.
-
There are several logic flaws that severely diminish the game's storyline.
-
CNET GamecenterA below-average game with little in the way of compelling gameplay.
-
Gameplay in The Elly Kedward Tale feels even more linear than either of the first two volumes (is that even remotely possible?).
-
Unfortunately, Prye's adventures aren't anywhere near as exciting as they might sound because of the game's poor control, its awkward camera angles, and its simplistic and repetitive story.
-
PC GamerAgonizingly mediocre - and proof that the Blair Witch has had her day in the moonlight. [Apr 2001, p.90]
-
A dreary, badly made game which offers no real closure to the series and bears no relevance to either Blair Witch film. A waste of your pennies, despite the reasonable price tag.
