Great fun, neat customization, interesting moves. Surprisingly easy to get into, despite the awful tutorial that doesn't teach you the important things, moves are intuitive enough I picked it up well enough within only a few games. Granted I still don't really know how the hell to use the katana's "block", I love the Jian's parry.
My only problem is the lack of content. I think a short

My only problem is the lack of content. I think a short Soul Blade/Calibur-esque single-player arcade mode would do wonders for the game, and would teach the game a lot better than the tutorial.

Blade Symphony is one of those interesting concepts, that we see very few identical games these days. But unfortunately, although it is so unique, it has not survived over the years.

Taking in consideration that the game is a 2014 game, it is a very nice game, graphically speaking. The game was certainly an excellent experience, back in the days, and this is visible for the positive

Taking in consideration that the game is a 2014 game, it is a very nice game, graphically speaking. The game was certainly an excellent experience, back in the days, and this is visible for the positive reviews at the time and many of them of players with hundreds of hours of game.

But my main concern now, in 2019, is the fact of the servers are almost empty, even after the game move to a F2P.

I do not say you should not try it, since it is now free, but from my game experience I cannot recommend it.

Interesting idea, but the realization failed. Fencing duels are fun, they have the necessary depth and controls that are easy to learn. But except for one-on-one duels, the game doesn't offer anything interesting. Rather than a complete game Blade Symphony feels like a small taste of something you never get.

Blade Symphony has lots of yet undiscovered potential. The community is great and the fights very rewarding, but the game can surely do a bit more to appeal to newcomers.

It’s the combination of this collective roleplay with direct competition that makes the game so compulsive. As such, Blade Symphony is as close as you are likely to get to the fantasy of slowly becoming a master swordsman.
