    Code, graphics, and sound turned into a spectacular game. The last time I was this impressed was with the first Deus Ex game. Technological art that took something great and made it spectacular! This was a pleasure to play, art to see, and the soundtrack that creates a world of its own. B R I L L I A N T! To all creators who created this game (code, sound, art...) - Bravo!

    Wow this is amazing. It's a complete overhaul of '98s Half-Life remade in the source engine. The music is awesome especially when you get to xen.

    Downloaded the original Half-Life for free during the two weeks leading up to the release of half-life Alyx. I couldn't get myself through the dated graphics and mechanics that had aged like milk. When I bought Black Mesa, I simply came for the story but left with much more than I ever could have dreamed of. The game shows its date in the beginning but the closer you get to the ending, theDownloaded the original Half-Life for free during the two weeks leading up to the release of half-life Alyx.     Basically the one thing that needs to be said is that if you haven't played Half Life yet and are scared away by the old looking graphics of the original then this is where you need to be.

    Как можно не пройти ремейк Халф Лайфа, отличный шутан без кинца и катсцен
    Отличный саундтрек и подтяннутая графика делают её отличной игрой, которая заслуживает максимальной оценки как отличный ремейк
    Единственное что не очень приятно, под конец игра становиться стимулятором паркура 10 хиткрабов из 10    Как можно не пройти ремейк Халф Лайфа, отличный шутан без кинца и катсцен

    A remake of one of the best games in the history of mankind.

    Can there be low ratings? I think no. This is a cool opportunity for young players to play this masterpiece with modern graphics.

    This one is a real remaster haha Everything you have in half life 2 but with very significant improvements like more violence, better graphics and much more blood particles

    After 16 years of development, it's safe to say: This is the best fan remake game of all time. Shows you how important of Half-Life series was and still to the industry.

    It's a very nice production. I had a very nice experience. It's one of the most beautiful works I've ever seen and thank you for playing this game. By the way, the music is very nice.

Su mayor diferencia con el original es el mundo de Xen, que en el original se veía horrible, y aquí se ve precioso.

    An almost perfect remake of an almost perfect game. It was great to play the good old Half Life again with some sweet new HD graphics and some awesome new music. I'd recommend this game not only to the ones that played the old Half Life, but also to other gamers that enjoy a good story and some awesome first-person shooter action.

    The quality of the game is so great, it looks like it was actually made by Valve. However, it's actually a stand-alone mod of Half-Life 2 made by a group of fans. And boy they did wonderful. Anyway, this is a remake of the original Half-Life from 1998. I, however, haven't played it, but just by looking at levels from the original on YouTube and then comparing them to those of Black Mesa,The quality of the game is so great, it looks like it was actually made by Valve.     The only problem for me, was the frame rate issues at moments.

    The game is wonderful and traveled me back in time when I was first playing half life 1 in an ancient celeron 300 and a diamond stealth 3... It also had a lot of changes here and there to make it more modern than the original, without destroying the felling.

    There really isn't much more you could have asked for when it came to bringing Half-Life into modern times. It's not a direct carbon copy, but what is different is definitely not detracting from anything at all. For a group of modders doing this in their spare time with no real funding, you have to sit back and appreciate just what has actually become of their hard work.     Black Mesa is the Source remake of Half-Life we've always wanted. It (almost) has the same amount of polish an official Valve game would have. The only reason I don't give it a perfect 10/10 is because the AI is pretty bad. The soldier AI is especially horrible. However, this will likely be fixed in the full Steam release. So I'll raise my score when that comes out.

    Black Mesa remains true to the original Half-Life with updated graphics, improved sounds and redesigned levels. However, the graphics still look old for a “modern” game and loading screens are still a pain as it freezes the game for a few seconds.
