    It's the classic The Legend of Zelda formula (and by classic I mean the very first one) with addition of rouge-like elements.
    Different kinds of weapons and equipment with diverse statistics for varied playstyles, randomized loot, and most important of all... permanent death.
    With something simple like this (simple doesn't mean it's easy,) you should know, by those elements alone,    It's the classic The Legend of Zelda formula (and by classic I mean the very first one) with addition of rouge-like elements.

    With something simple like this (simple doesn't mean it's easy,) you should know, by those elements alone, whether or not that sound appealing to you.
    And if you want to, there is prequel for you to play for free somewhere on the internet. I didn't play the prequel myself, so there's nothing more I can say about it, but I assume it's similar.    … Expand

    The perfect game for killing time. It is interesting to play and the last boss is quite complicated.

    Fairly easy, short-lived, graphically dull and with an absurd control system, the game will be able to find some supporters only among fans of rogue like genre, but it is too anonymous to meet the preferences of all other players.
