May 4, 2020Biped is a cute little surprise for people who prefer to play in coop-mode. It offers an innovative control sheme and stages with a lot of variety. Everything falters the moment you start playing solo, however. Then it becomes a mediocre experience at best.

Apr 21, 2020Biped might be just the thing for a couple who are finding the distance trying, or for connecting with a friend you’re missing. Don’t let the pleasant art direction or merry soundtrack fool you, though, it’s childishly charming yet devilishly demanding – those challenge stages don’t take it easy! Make sure not to give up if it turns out to be a little harder than expected. There’s a nifty solo mode to practice in and I’ve found it’s a game that generally rewards mastery in small chunks as one overcomes each of its elegant mechanics. I wonder if that playful creativity is a part of NEXT Studios’ ideation culture or if it was just a fluke, I guess I’ll have to go find out and I can only hope to find more in a similar vein.

Apr 19, 2020It’s a budget Mario/Yoshi sans acrobatics with tons of borrowed ideas and a single original one. Play only in co-op if you’re 6 or older.

Apr 5, 2020With its renewed mechanics and charming environments, Biped, sold at a low price, remains a bit stingy in terms of level and a bit too short. We would not have said no to a more extensive experience.
