Apr 8, 2020Biped is a cooperative game full of fun and suitable for kids and kids at heart. My only wish is that there was more to enjoy.
-
May 5, 2020Biped is a simple idea but executed with as much charm as Next could possibly muster. If you’ve ever wanted to save the world but the T800 was just a bit to shoot first and ask questions later, grab a buddy and try out Biped. The cute characters, lovingly crafted stages, and emotional range the mechanical cast show between your own screams of joy and despair will have you hooked on this title, and you can even play co-op without the couch via Remote Play.

Apr 14, 2020Biped is well worth a look, especially if you like cute, lovable little robots (and who doesn’t?). Grab your buddy, your sibling, or maybe get lucky and find someone online, and get ready for some crazy, chaotic co-op fun. This is one time where two legs are definitely better than four.
-
Apr 9, 2020Biped builds on concepts that were popularized by other physics-based games and combining these concepts with a cute storyline and co-op based gameplay, Biped manages to create something wonderful for players to experiment with. At the end of the day Biped is the perfect game to play with friends and family at home or online.
-
Apr 9, 2020Biped is a great game that is great fun for two players. However, potential buyers needs to be alright with only playing locally, a short amount of content, and the potential for a level editor to be far off from release. For these reasons it might be best to wait until more concrete news becomes available, but if those are not huge problems, Biped is a real treat.

CD-ActionMay 12, 2020A really good choice for a gaming evening both with kids and adults. The solo gameplay is somewhat pleasurable but nothing beats cooperation. [06/2020, p.71]

Dec 14, 2020Controlling a pair of robots step-by-step through a series of manual dexterity challenges may not qualify as an adventure, but the charming Biped is a fun diversion, especially in co-op mode.
-
May 4, 2020Biped is a cute little surprise for people who prefer to play in coop-mode. It offers an innovative control sheme and stages with a lot of variety. Everything falters the moment you start playing solo, however. Then it becomes a mediocre experience at best.

Apr 21, 2020Biped might be just the thing for a couple who are finding the distance trying, or for connecting with a friend you’re missing. Don’t let the pleasant art direction or merry soundtrack fool you, though, it’s childishly charming yet devilishly demanding – those challenge stages don’t take it easy! Make sure not to give up if it turns out to be a little harder than expected. There’s a nifty solo mode to practice in and I’ve found it’s a game that generally rewards mastery in small chunks as one overcomes each of its elegant mechanics. I wonder if that playful creativity is a part of NEXT Studios’ ideation culture or if it was just a fluke, I guess I’ll have to go find out and I can only hope to find more in a similar vein.
-
Apr 5, 2020With its renewed mechanics and charming environments, Biped, sold at a low price, remains a bit stingy in terms of level and a bit too short. We would not have said no to a more extensive experience.
-
Apr 19, 2020It’s a budget Mario/Yoshi sans acrobatics with tons of borrowed ideas and a single original one. Play only in co-op if you’re 6 or older.
