    Artistic and action-packed throughout. It diverges from the original Bioshock formula, but still makes it somewhat familiar. Couple that with an amazing story. What else do you want?

    As good as it is, it really distances itself from the other two games making a more linear experience at the same time it does a messier plot. A must play either way, and one of the best FPS I've ever played.

    A game with high quality and an intriguing story. However, the changed systems from the previous installment are slightly disappointing, and while the steampunk atmosphere is appealing, the lack of details prevents me from truly falling in love with the in-game world.

    Bioshock Infinite tried something new in regards to setting and it really did succeed there. For many, Columbia still can't compete with the atmosphere of Rapture from Bioshock and Bioshock 2. The story is interesting, but not as good as the previous titles. The gunplay is decent, but the combat doesn't feel as organic as enemies flood into open rooms to fight you.     A very good game, the plot in the middle of the game was a little bit annoying but in the end game everything become absolute crazy and very interesting. The difficulty in normal mode is a little hard i've died many times, whenever Elizabeth screams "HANDYMAN" I already knew that i will meet Death, but is a Very Good game. Worthy of GOTY!

    Люблю эту игру за то как хорошо написана история и связанан с прошлыми частями (есть конечно пара мелочей, но это не влияет на историю). Так же нме очень понравилась Колумбия из-за открытости города, по сравнению с тёмным и закрытым Восторгом. Самая большая проблема игры это то, что в ней очень-очень много перестрелок, что может очень быстро надоедать и иногда хочется пройти всё тихо иЛюблю эту игру за то как хорошо написана история и связанан с прошлыми частями (есть конечно пара мелочей, но это не влияет на историю). Так же нме очень понравилась Колумбия из-за открытости города, по сравнению с тёмным и закрытым Восторгом.     Final entry of the bioshock saga with the best story so far, the gunplay and the vigors are also pretty good in this game but not as good as in the other bioshocks. Elizabeth is also an amazing character and the Lutece are funny as hell. And the burial at sea dlcs are very good dlcs.

    As a fan of the original Bioshock, I give this high of a score only for the art direction which, as an artist myself, I think is superb and fully worthy of at least 6 of the 7 I am giving this game. In other areas I was dissapointed at the game. It was severely lacking a good horror element that made the first game so engaging, and a lot of the good gameplay/rpg elements are just missing,As a fan of the original Bioshock, I give this high of a score only for the art direction which, as an artist myself, I think is superb and fully worthy of at least 6 of the 7 I am giving this game. In other areas I was dissapointed at the game. It was severely lacking a good horror element that made the first game so engaging, and a lot of the good gameplay/rpg elements are just missing, making it feel much more like an on rails shooter like a Call of Duty campaign mode than a game with depth and choice. Essentially, it felt less realistic and more scripted because of this. Talking of script, the story of this game was all over the place. It was incredibly convoluted and tacky, and dealt in the topic of multiple realities but in an incredibly cliche's and pseudointellectual way that had me rolling my eyes by the end. Unlike the original bioshock, with its strange self aware commentary on the work of ayn rand, this game takes place in the skies in a turn of the century version of religious zealotry and old american ideals of purity and independance, which is a really cool idea on the face of it. It doesnt just stick to this concept though, that is the problem. The game starts out great, and you are lead to believe that there are many avenues that will be explored in this. It feels like bioshock, with a creepy sense of unease and insanity crawling at the back of your mind as you ascend to a racists idea of heaven. But the game just lets you down, its cartoonish and unserious, i get that they were kind of going for that with elizabeth appearing like a good old american disney princess, but it just doesnt land. And the story is stupid, and story is the second most important thing in Bioshock after the art design, so its a 7 from me (the other 3 is the good story its missing)… Expand

    1 Elizabeth: Elizabeth starts off kinda dumb with her calling you a monster even tho the people you killed in front of her attacked you first and were the real monsters as not only were they trying to kill you they also held her prisoner her whole life and on top of that how they treat black people so Elizabeth calling you a monster is kinda of dumb of her as aside from her not knowing how they treat black people she knows how bad these people are. Also later she starts crying after seeing you're trying to take her to new york and not paris even tho you just told her why to were saving her and what would happen to her like a minute ago, no really it was like less then a minute before was she not listening or something why she acting like she didn't know what was gonna happen, its just dumb whats the point in having your character tell her that if shes just gonna forget it ten seconds later, it's unforgiveablely dumb.

    2 Poor combat: Gun play is pretty bad and for a game that came out in 2013 that is not acceptable and in the final bit of the game where there is a lot of combat, it's made even worst by not giving like any pistol and carbine ammo which were the only two guns i was using since there was no point using any others with how poor the gun play is also tho not really a big deal water doesn't react to the player which isn't a bad thing but does lower my enjoyment of the game,it only comes up at the start and very end of the game but still, pretty sure games in 2013 had water that reacts to the players so this game can't be given a pass, if i had played this game back when it came out i would have the same feelings toward it that i have now tho i likely would rate it higher for its graphics in 2013 then i would now, graphics still look good but i wouldn't give it a higher rating like i might have in 2013.

    3 Save points: i hate waiting for save points, sometimes you want to or need to stop playing and having to wait to get to a save point is such a pain, a blast to the past and not in a good way, i do not miss not being able to save from anywhere or when ever you want in games, i'll never take quick saving for granted again, also i wish the auto save icon stayed up longer as it goes away really quickly and is easy to miss. Also can we stop putting loud ass sounds at the start of games when you first load them up please, having the main menu trigger my tinnitus every time i load it is really annoying.

    4 Story/ writing: Tho i don't really care for the plot it's fairly well written for the most part bar a few parts mainly Elizabeth stuff but nothing to write home about, iv come across 5 points where the writing goes from fine to outright bad 2 of them come from Elizabeth being dumb. The ghost "mother" bit of the game was by far the best part of the game tho the boss fights were a little annoying due to the games bad gun play and my god the end of the game was just the worst of it, Dewitt becomes super annoying for no reason at all and all the timeline stuff just falls flat for me as iv seen this type of stuff done so many times in all sorts of media and done way better and lastly the baby stuff at the end was just kinda dumb, i get was they were trying to do but it just isn't good the story isn't "bad" more so just fine but that with the poor combat really bring down my enjoyment of this game and its story and it just kinda felt like a chore to get threw mainly the last hour give or take.    … Expand

Mimo tego, że nie jest to Rapture, które zapadło w pamięci graczy, to jest to zdecydowanie przejście na tak samo dobrą ścieżkę i widać, że twórcy nie utracili ducha Bioshocka mimo zmiany otoczenia i fabuły. Obłędna historia, która wciągnęła mnie od samego początku. PostaćJeśli chodzi o Infinite to tutaj mam podobne zdanie co do poprzednich części, lecz muszę nadmienić tu parę rzeczy. Mimo tego, że nie jest to Rapture, które zapadło w pamięci graczy, to jest to zdecydowanie przejście na tak samo dobrą ścieżkę i widać, że twórcy nie utracili ducha Bioshocka mimo zmiany otoczenia i fabuły.     Great unpredictable plot, good graphics. The game is plot-related to the past parts with the help of dls. The game is mandatory for all game lovers to complete. The gameplay does not reach the score of 10, but it is also not bad.

    This game gave me the best moments of my life. An unforgettable story in a completely different world after the first two games. I wish I could lose my memory and play again. I wish the story was much more understandable, but we interpret some things ourselves. I think it's good about that.

    Lo que más me gusta de los Bioshock es su diseño artístico, y lo segundo a destacar seria sus historias y esta tercera entrega no se queda corta, que maravilloso y más complejo final, brutal esta saga sin dudas de mis favoritas.

    Very creative game. Whole atmosphere and art style is excellent. Basically it is a shooter, but there's so much more to it. It has a rich backstory and many creative ideas. Gameplay is fun.

    Esse pessoal da 2K consegue abrir a mente e criar mundo espetaculares, dessa vez no céu onde deixa o game mais interessante ainda, oque peca um pouco seria um pouco dos gráficos que na minha opinião na época de lançamento saíram defasados, tinha que caprichar mais.
    Porém mesmo assim tem todo o conteúdo dos anteriores e tem qualidade recomendo.

    Very messy, holy hell. The writing can be all over the place, but it´s not bad, and the ending is really good. The main characters have a great relatioship, which is quite an achievement considering the protagonist is goofily tragic. It´s very fun despite it´s faults.

    The story's premise is very interesting, although the story does feel a little bit absent in the middle, it picks up later on and surprises the player with some huge twists and a phenomenal ending.

    The two main characters of the game have a fantastic chemistry together, they both have likeable personalities and nice backstories.

    As for the gameplay, it's pretty good, the shooting feels heavy and responsive, and the vigors add some depth to it, all in all I'm satisfied.

    Unfortunately though, the mission structure is quite repetitive, and combined with the questionable pacing, it drags down some parts of the game, also the late game difficulty spike was unnecessary and tedious.

    This is a very solid game overall, and for its time, it's probably one of the most fascinating First Person Shooters I've played.

    Never really played a bioshock game before this. I was kind of shocked at how bad the excessive enemies were in this game. One enemy after another in this rush of constant combat with the occasional story beat and thematic imagery thrown in there to make gamers gush about how this is somehow genius.

    After Bioshock 2, I was kind of done with the Rapture theme. Although I can play the first two Bioshock games over and over again without it ever boring me, if there was ever to be a new game, I wanted some fresh new ideas. My wish had been granted when Bioshock Infinite hit the shelves. Instead of playing on the bottom of the world,    Irrational studios has done it again: epic game.

    After Bioshock 2, I was kind of done with the Rapture theme. Although I can play the first two Bioshock games over and over again without it ever boring me, if there was ever to be a new game, I wanted some fresh new ideas. My wish had been granted when Bioshock Infinite hit the shelves.

    Instead of playing on the bottom of the world, you are now playing high in the sky, almost touching space. Bioshock Infinite takes places in a new city Columbia. It floats high in the air by massive fans and, just like Rapture, keeps hidden from existence. You play as Booker DeWitt, a new character and a good one I might add. Just like Jack from the first Bioshock, you immediately feel some sort of connection with him because of his excellent dialogue, expression and overall interaction.

    Irrational studios has done it again. They produced another excellent game with another excellent story. It is what the Bioshock games are known for and they did not disappoint with this game. Because of this reason, I will not review any part of the story in this review, this is something that you need to experience for yourself, especially in combination with the two DLC episodes “Burial at Sea”.

    The mechanics of the game work very similar to the first games. You got a selection of new different weapons and instead of using Plasmids, like the previous games, you use Vigors and Salts. The Vigors have the same idea as the Plasmids but are still completely unique. You can shoot a horde of murderous crows at your enemies, posses them so they attack other enemies and then shoot a bullet trough their brains or splash them away with water and tentacles.

    For money, you collect the national currency of Columbia, the Silver Dollar.

    The new enemies in the game are also very well created and a lot of thought did go into them. You got your standard police officers and other human enemies, but then, out of the blue, you got attacked by a big, mechanical patriot doll, complete in the style of George Washington. And if that is not enough, you got the Handymans, humans in a big exoskeletons with their hearts outside of their bodies, encased in the middle of their suits. The only thing they do is Hulk Smash so they are predictable, but when they hit you, you just bought yourself a one way ticket back to earth.

    I like the combat, besides shooting and bewitch enemies, you can also knock them off Columbia. If there is a ledge and you have your trusty Broncho Vigor selected, let them fly!

    Speaking of flying, the new rail mechanic, in which you can use kilometers of metal railing to quickly travel to other places, or giving you the advantage in a fight, is really cool. You collect some sort of grappling hook early in the game and can attach it to the railing whenever you want. You even got a nice attack when disengaging from the rail and jumping towards an enemy.

    The controls in the game work flawless and the new mechanics, Vigors and rail sliding is easy to understand and master. You just feel like you are in control.
    The graphics in Bioshock Infinite are beautiful and the environments and attention to detail is just stunning. The lighting is also very well done and gives objects, enemies and scenery a nice finishing touch.

    I must say that the ambient music and fight tracks when sh!t hits the fan, are a little disappointing from what I was used to from the previous games. They are just generic and “all right” .However, this did impact my positive experience with the game.

    I really don’t have any complaints or minor issues with Bioshock Infinite, it is just another game in the series that impressed me just as much as the previous installments.

    If you cannot tell, I really liked the game and would recommend it to everyone. Even for the players that did not particularly liked the first games, because the action and combat is this game, is spot on.    … Expand

    One of the most remarkable games I have ever played. It is a magnificient piece of art. In contrast to Bioshock's Rapture which is set in sea and is dark, Infinite's Columbia is set in the bright sky and is a thing of beauty though as dystopian as Rapture. A great steampunk gaming experience with no parallel.

So why, I cant give 10 points? The save point system is so annoying: you cant save freely, but have an auto save system from the consoles and they didnt patch it, there is no mod for that.

Although, in all honesty, when I separate it from its predecessor I'm a lot more forgiving of its faults.     The gameplay is very hard to love, but either way very hard to hate, would've loved if we could've known or been warned before switching vigors, or managed to carry many more guns like previous instalments, or had the ability to see our quests and where we're supposed to go, this in my opinion, was the only thing holding the game back of earning a 10/10 score.
    If you love great pacing, stellar story telling, and immersive environment and level design, do not look afar, Bioshock infinite is right up your alley.    … Expand

    Probably my favorite game ever made. Story is 10/10, execution and tackled topics are 10/10, gameplay is 10/10, visuals are 10/10. There is nothing bad I can say about it.
    Plus this game offends liberals and conservatives alike, so you know it is doing something right.

The thematic elements of the games are not developed enough and have a very simple message of ''religious extremism is bad!'' ''power can be corrupt in many forms, no matter what side you're on'' or stuff like that. When Bioshock 1 and 2 delved more into theI played this game as a teenager and enjoyed it. But dear god, as an adult, it doesn't compare to the previous Bioshock titles. The thematic elements of the games are not developed enough and have a very simple message of ''religious extremism is bad!'' ''power can be corrupt in many forms, no matter what side you're on'' or stuff like that. When Bioshock 1 and 2 delved more into the sociological aspects of society and how people reacted to it, and what you as a player experienced from it. In that, well, the gameplay doesn't add or contribute anything to a sense of choice, you aren't really given one and it goes against the theme of infinite possibilities. But given the game's hectic development, I am not surprised. I don't think I can recommend it, the game falls apart by the 2nd act and it quickly becomes apparent how much was scrapped and then reworked simply to make a coherent game that had excessive shooting sections. I don't think a newcomer or Bioshock fan should play this, it's easier to watch cutscenes. Not a fun title.… Expand

    Decent game with good mechanics and a really deep story, too bad it sucks at telling it. In a game where there are a lot of cutscenes and dialogue you expect to understand some of the story without reading or listening to every recording. At the end of the game you'll probably look up the wiki page to understand the story like I did.

    Una obra maestra imperdible, la trilogía no pudo haber terminado de otra manera, la historia, los niveles, la música, todo lo hace bien, definitivamente a pesar de haber salido hace casi 10 años sigue siendo uno de eso juegos que tienes que jugar de vez en cuando como una buena película, espero con ansias que anuncien la película y quizá pudiera regresar con una cuarta entrega.
