    I have doubts about Half-Life 2 being the Best Game Ever Made now... Can´t decide :)
    The gameplay is even better than bioshock 1... You feel like you are in a complete open world because of the skylines. Vigors (plasmids) never get old.
    Art/Graphics are just beautiful/amazing... I was blowned away all the time.
    The best game ever in therms of story.
    Get it. It's sooooooo GOOD

    I was hooked on this game right from start to finish, an artistically and visually brilliant game, with smooth gameplay and a depth of story and lyricism. I played it extremely slowly, taking in every small an laboured-over detail. Looking around and just after you open the gates, can't put into words how great it looks. A refreshing game against ones of late.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I last played Bioshock 1 5 years ago, it was amazing. For some reason, I felt I should skip Bioshock 2 and go to Infinite. Infinite is an AMAZING game. Brilliant graphics, the most mesmerizing story, stunning effects, weapons, vigors.
    This game was really spot-on.
    The only thing I would fix with this game is that it's kind-of limited in a sense that the game ending shows you SO many possibilities, and yet the scene goes on without any interaction you could make with other worlds. this game could of had been expanded SO much and have a LOT more content. I'm hoping Burial at Sea 1+2 will fill in some gaps with you entering another world Lighthouse.
    all in all this game is amazing and you should play it no matter if you dont play shooters.    … Expand

    The achilles heel of the game the shooting mechanics are poor verging on worse, whith weak sound and little visual oomph. Gameplay is uneven with some areas being too repetetive, that said it has some great parts and riding rails makes up some for the poor gun mechanics    … Expand

In my opinion, Bioshock Infinite is the best PC game that I've played by far.The graphics seems smooth on my PC and the gameplay was quite amazing.The best part of the game that i like is the storyline of the game.It is full of twist,mind-bending scenes and lastly that 'feeling' when you truly participate in the game :D… Expand

    Simply Amazing. If you want to play BSI, don't read anything about it, otherwise, the story will be spoiled. The gameplay is great, but gets a tad bit repetitive towards the end, its okay though because it keeps the player occupied, and makes it really satisfying when you fully upgrade a skill.     I love the Columbia and Rapture! This is amazing game I ever play and beat first time and took me go back play Bioshock 1 and 2.

    Having not played any of the previous Bioshock games before I was not as disappointing as others have been when they compare this games to its predecessors. The first thing that blew my mind in the game was just the colors. That first scene in Columbia made my jaw drop. The gameplay is fun, fresh and excited. I did encounter a few bugs that caused me to re-launch the game, but they're excusable and didn't affect this score. The reason that this score got a 9 instead of a 10 is because of the end. I won't spoil it, but if you didn't pick up any of the voxophones (and even if you did find them all) the ending may be quite confusing. However, ending is what makes this game so great. Even months after playing, I found myself from time to time still trying to wrap my head around complicated/glorious plot. Definitely one of my top 10 favorite games of all time.… Expand

    One of the greatest games I have played this decade. Draws you in emotionally and delivers on a much bigger scale, up to the nail biting end. With Beautiful visuals, and great character development, this game has reached my top 5 games of all time.

    The graphics are so mesmerizing, I almost forget to move on with the game play. The setting, the story, the way Elizabeth interacts with you--I am stunned and in awe--This game was fun without being frustrating in combat and challenges-- PERFECTION--PURE PERFECTION A eloquent way to say good-bye to this generation of consoles.     This story and the theme is great the graphics made me cry from the lighting so pretty but i just couldnt get past the boring gunplay all i wanted was just more story so im rating it 8 for the story but 5 for the gunplay

    I'm just going to go ahead and say it, the story is amazing. At first it starts out regular with a simple mission but then it gets more complex but in the end the story comes full circle and answers plenty of answers you had. Though there are still some questions you may have at the end, it at least answers and hits on all the main points.     The gameplay is good. It plays smooth as a shooter. The only problem I had that kept me from giving it a perfect score is how boring it got looking for stuff. Of course you don't have to look for stuff but if you do there won't be much to find. There seems to be not as much recordings to find compared to the big world your in and most of the time you only find health and vigor when you were already full. Your vigor and health fills up fast too so you'll find yourself constantly leaving behind that stuff and not needing it. In hard mode it might be a different story but I only tried it in normal mode. All that stuff I mentioned though is minor. What really got to me was how useless the different types of powers you get. I literally only used around three of the 12 or so you get and once I got the electric one I stuck with that for the rest the game. I am sure others might find them useful since it feel like the game is trying to offer variety but the other powers literally felt useless to me. The gear you can equip is a nice addition but I had the same problem as the powers in that I found only a few of the gear useful of the plenty of gear that you find. I literally only used the first pieces of gear until the end when I finally found gear that was worth putting on to replace my old ones. The gameplay is smooth though and never had a problem moving around and shooting. Shooting is pretty accurate as well.

    The graphics are the most noticeable part about the game. They are gorgeous and you can just stare at awe at the city in the sky right when you get there. Especially on a good pc running on high settings. The characters look great as well and are really believable.

    Overall this is a gorgeous looking game with a great story where you will get mindblown away. The gameplay plays really well also. A great example of showing that story game aren't dead and hopefully inspire other developers to come up with other great stories.    … Expand

    Considering all the loads of terrible FPS titles in recent years and my bad experience with previous Bioshock titles, I was really pleasantly surprised that Bioshock: Infinite is an excellent story-driven FPS. Hype is again pretty over the top as it always is with Bioshock series, but Infinite is definitely the best piece of the trilogy that I had by far the most fun playing through.     After you finish the game you have to play it again because the game is hinting the end so well, so when you will play it the second time you will have so much fun.

    Bioshock Infinite is for sure a top game of 2013 and perhaps of all time. With visually stunning graphics and a story that pulls you deeper than almost any other, the game deserves special attention from true gamers. Bioshock Infinite is a near masterpiece.

    Great game. An artistical masterpiece, the gameplay is also much improved since the first two games in the series. I think the next game should be more on the choice-based RPG side than a classical shooter.
    A little criticism though about dialogues and other sound-based narrative and lore: please make sure different captions and voice-actings do not overlap too much next time, it makes    Great game. I've played it through too many times now and always find something new. The graphics are stunning and is well thought out in terms of game play.     I've played this in 2013 when it just recently came out... It's an addictive title for sure, beautiful graphics and setting, and it has a very unique atmosphere. Dystopian Steampunk, perhaps? Although it starts off quite cheerfully.

    The story is the only thing I didn't like - it's overly tangled up in itself. Also - the gameplay itself is super linear, gives an illusion of choice but    I've played this in 2013 when it just recently came out...     Combat can be quite challenging on hard difficulties.

That said, Great gunplay augmented with super powers, great exploration, and fantastic characters, levels and plot. Perfect length.     Cons: -Combat experience (Limited weapon choice and upgrades for a FPS. The shield kind of rewarded players for reckless shooting and hiding.)
    -Lackluster interaction with NPCs (Other than Booker and Eliz, other characters are just part of the story rather than the game.)

    Tips: Read up on 1900's history to better appreciate the plot. Slowly digest the story while playing, people who rush to criticize it usually fail to pause and think. It requires understanding of satire and sarcasm to see the plot's golden value,    … Expand

    I feel like there is nothing to hate about this game, its gorgeous and the developers actually took their time on this one. It has an amazing story with one of the most well-played characters, and a nice skill system. All of that aside, this game is perfect and everyone would enjoy this game

    Overall this game is Amazing! The combat is fun and the storyline is great. The graphics are fun and Elizabeth-surprisingly-isn't annoying! There is a wide range of guns and the sky rails are cool.

    This is a brilliant game gripping storyline and graphics well cared for, I was fine for the playability and its particular atmosphere enveloping everything where the impossible becomes (reality) in this particular virtual place. The underlying theme of the first chapters continues even in this chapter and in some moments nearly thrilling.

    Bioshock Infinite on PC looks far superior to consoles and makes the overall experience that much better. The textures are not just sharper but also have extra fine detail not found on consoles. The gameplay, setting, story and characters are all top notch. One of the defining moments of last gen.

    This game was absolutely fantastic. I enjoyed every moment of the game. The game is very good with a mind blowing story, but not only a very good game, this is a fantastic game because our partner's prensence. She is the prettiest, kindest, most human woman i have ever seen in video games. I wanted to protect and took care of her all the time. i recommend everyone. This is really a must-play game.

    무기소지가 두개로 한정되어서 불편하고 DLC 1부가 무리수가 있었다는것은 맞지만 본편인 바이오쇼크 인피니트에서 보여준 퍼포먼스는 역대 어느 게임과도 뒤쳐지지않을 역사에 남을 명작입니다.

    Bioshock Infinite is a very divisive experience. On one hand you have a game that is mechanically downright regressive compared to the other two entries in the series. Combat feels much more like your standard fare FPS shooting gallery, plasmids (now called vigors) don't feel nearly as important and lots of staples of the series like hacking, ammo types and visual weapon upgrades have beenBioshock Infinite is a very divisive experience. On one hand you have a game that is mechanically downright regressive compared to the other two entries in the series. Combat feels much more like your standard fare FPS shooting gallery, plasmids (now called vigors) don't feel nearly as important and lots of staples of the series like hacking, ammo types and visual weapon upgrades have been ditched all together. But on the other hand, Infinite tells without a doubt one of the most ambitious and multilayered stories ever seen in a video game. The setting of Columbia along with its history and complex lore is absolutely enthralling, and to this day Bioshock Infinite is a visual marvel, with some of the best, most focused art direction I think I've ever seen. The ideal would obviously have been a game (like the original) that nails both gameplay and narrative, but at the end of the day, the absolutely stellar art direction, multifaceted story and disappointing yet serviceable gameplay was enough to have me still think about Bioshock Infinite 5 years after its release.… Expand

    BioShock Infinite is a masterpiece, there's no doubt. There are a good graphics, awesome artstyle and OST, great gameplay. The plot is fine as well. The thing you will understand when completing BioShock Infintie is that people are able to create masterpieces nowadays.

    Where i was less impressed was the gameplay. While shooting feels fine for a UE3 based game, shooting gallery segments are decent fun, riding sky hooks and dropping on enemies is also helluva fun, tho its the enemies themselves which can ruin the fun, they feel overpowered as hell most of the time, especially the mini boss types ones like Handyman, Zealots, Firemen. Theyre really annoying to fight against, they can hit from anywhere, behind cover, from across the level at times, especialy on Hard mode in which i played, they can be insanely annoying to fight. Also the fact theyre such massive bullet sponges doesnt help whats so ever either. But those guys are nothing compared to the Siren, when i played i disabled most of the HUD elements, enemy health bars being one of them, i spent nearly half an hour filling the Siren with led, explosives and vigors, she just didnt die while i did all the time by her immortal minions, it semt like she just was immortal or something. Then i turned on the health bars to see how much damage im dealing to her, and BOOM took me couple of minutes to kill her. That was my most frustrating moment in entire game. Another irritating thing in the game is the saving system, its quite awful. You have to complete the entire chapter so the game would save your progress, like lets say you complete a half chapter and you quit and close the game, it wont bloody save the damn game ! And chapters can be quite long. Its by far the stupidiest saving system i've encountered in modern gaming.

    The real meat in Infinite lies in the story, setting and characters for me, they were the reason i kept playing till the end. While it doesnt explain it self that well at times with its alternate realities, timelines themes, i still was quite amazed and tried wrapping my head around whats going on, its just really cool. While i wish Elizabeth had more to say during normal gameplay like she did in E3 game demos, in the end game she's still of the best, well done and real feeling companions in any game i've played. She's also a tragic character with whom its very easy to sympathize with.

    Game ran quite fine for me on my now i guess pre historic by PCMR standards GTX 650, i ran it on High settings just fine with smooth feeling frame rate, but Very High and Ultra were a no go.    … Expand

    After about halfway through the main campaign though, cracks start to appear in the foundation. The story starts to make less and less sense as the multiverse theory is introduced. The idea of a floating city in the early twentieth century also starts to sound more and more ridiculous. In addition to that, gunfights become predictable and, even though still fun to a degree, start to drag on a bit.

    Bioshock Infinite is not a bad game, but it does not reach the same heights as the original. The setting is just a bit too unrealistic to be taken seriously, and the story too confusing to follow. As a fan of the original, I was a bit disappointed with Infinite.    … Expand

    And I have played both Portal games and the Half-life series, as well as other favorites like Minecraft, Terraria, Cities: Skylines, Civ V, and Rocket League.
    The visuals are beautiful, albeit not realistic (who needs that anyway?), even when played on as low a setting as I had to use. The story is unforgettable with    BioShock Infinite is without a doubt the best game I have ever played.

    If I made a TOP 10 of my favourite videogames, BIOSHOCK INFINTIFE would, no doubt, be in it.

    This game just get your mind and blow it. Anyone how tall you that story in this game is bad - are idiots. Probably you can not understand story for the first time, but at the end you just sit and think "WOW, THIS WAS POWERFULL". One issue with this game is that is shooter part of the game is really boring, and you must kill a lot of enemy waves that you can get another a piece of story.

    I absolutely adore the visual and narrative storytelling of the bioshock games, and bioshock infinite is no exception. Never have I been more invested in a character like Elizabeth's since Alyx Vance from Half-Life 2.     This game was magnificent. Played and looked great. I love the way Elizabeth interacts with everything and its one of those games you want to put on a list in case you ever get amnesia, so you can play it all over again for the first time.

    One of the most remarkable games I have ever played. It is a magnificient piece of art. In contrast to Bioshock's Rapture which is set in sea and is dark, Infinite's Columbia is set in the bright sky and is a thing of beauty though as dystopian as Rapture. A great steampunk gaming experience with no parallel.

    Bioshock Infinite delivers perfection in its imperfection. The setting, story, characters, historical knowledge and criticism and feel are unmatched. It's gameplay is solid and fun. Solid and fun enough to keep pushing forward to unravel where the game truely shines, and if you approach just that, you'll be enjoying a masterpiece you'd wish you could relive.

    I'm usually not a fan of FPS games, but I really loved the feel of this game. It didn't feel like it was asking me to have a super high skill and be extremely precise, rather it felt more that I needed to have the right strategy for each fight and that my reflexes (while important) were not the be all end all. I also really liked the story and the characters.

    Bioshock Infinite is a good shooter with solid story and few RPG elements just like the original Bioshock. Ending is a bit confusing though, and it takes Burial at Sea Episode 2 DLC to sort thing out a bit.

    This is actually the best game I've ever played if looking by games: world,characters and overall expierience. Maybe that's not the best shooter I've ever played, but i can forget it, in the name of great addictive story. This is first game of which i was watching story explanations for hours..

Rapture was extremely fascinating, but the city of Columbia is something that leaves you speechless. If you are like me, a single-player gamer (mostly), who likes to explore every corner of a map searching for the best view... well, this is for you!
    The plot is intriguing as well, but i won't tell you anything about it here. The game is based on the unreal engine, so very good graphics (not talking about photo realism here, i'm not a big fan of it) and highly optimized for heterogeneous computer hardware. I've played it on medium settings with a fairly old desktop based on an Intel Q6600 (stock frequency), 6GB DDR2 and an AMD HD5830 1GB at a resolution of 1400x1050 and it worked beautifully, stable at 40-50fps.
    It is not a pure shooter, there are some rpgs elements like the possibility to upgrade your character and your weapons, but it still plays mostly like an FPS. The Sky-rail shootings didn't impress me much, they looked much more interesting on youtube. Some of the bosses were particularly clever and it was fun to battle them, but not frustrating.
    And again, i loved the plot, really, it deserves your time.    … Expand

    Very nicely done game and the only one I played from the series. Story a bit strange but very interesting. Clean and simple design with nice graphics.

    Never came back to it since I got more interested in the Far Cry series for which further games have been introduced since 2013.

    Don't know if I will come back to a future game. Nevertheless nice experience.

The extra scene past the credits of the game reinforced previously mentioned ideas, I suggest seeing it. The gamplay had some Issues like huge difficulty spikes, and the vigor traps not being very useful even though they are a secondary attack mode in a lot of the vigors. Despite some problems, combat often felt really good and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

    The combat system is intuitive and satisfying, with a variety of weapons and enemies to keep things interesting. The world and characters are well-realized, making for an immersive experience.

    This game was very engaging and i think told in a good amount of time. I remember being blown away at the end. It came out during a year of very great games and i think it deserves high marks.

    Presentation
    The story starts simple, you play as Booker DeWitt, who has to bring back the girl, to wipe away his debt. The girl lives in a beautiful city, far upon the sky, called Columbia.
    When you step into Columbia, you will be stunned by its gorgeous scenery and architecture .But don’t be fooled by how fabulous it looks, things get progressively weirder from there. The twist is waiting for you, but you won’t be ready.

    Gameplay
    BioShock Infinite starts familiar with the first BioShock game. Besides of firearm, you get “Vigors”. Vigors are the wondrous tonics of Columbia, granting extraordinary abilities to its user after consumption. You will also get a hook, which allow you do fight at close quarter, or travel trough the skyline. However, after meeting Elizabeth, she has a superpower, that will help you open tears in any combat. Tears can teleport other things in, such as automated turrets, cover points, or even heal kits and salt. With these mechanics, players are encouraged for variety and experimentation.

    This is along the best games I was even given to play.
    The gameplay is great, and the story is incredible. While some might point out some graphic deficiencies in Infinite, I found them to be of no importance when actually playing.

    Rich story.
    Gunplay is even better than the first game.
    Elizabeth is one of the best companions in a game, she takes the game on a greater level.

    A great game with a very elaborate story. The city of Columbia is absolutely mesmerizing, and it is so easy to be entranced by the atmosphere. So much to find, so much lore to uncover, so many little things to enjoy! This game takes a couple of play throughs before making complete sense, but every second I've replayed this game I have not regretted. Beautiful narrative; beautiful characters.
