    Big Rigs is a trainwreck disaster of a game. It is a glitch fest and the gameplay is totally nonsensical. The psychics is barely there as you can glitch through buildings, mountains, trees or even go outside the game world and explore the solar system

    This game set a new standard for racing games with it's smooth controls, stunning graphics, great track design and revolutionizing AI.

    There's no other game that gives you the sense of speed, thrill and danger that this masterpiece presents to you.
    Challenging, rewarding, tense, and with a sweet soundtrack, this is a must buy!

    I have never played some an amazing game! The story about being a ghost truck doomed to win every race is extremely touching. I actually cried at the end. The game runs incredibly smoothly on PC, and it is just in general so much fun! Everything from the speed to the ghost bridges, ah! It's just.... too good. Go out, and buy this game. Play this game, and your life will be complete.

    If you enjoy the thrill of racing games this is a must have. Worth the $80 I paid for it and I don't regret it what so ever. This is now my second favourite racing game behind Euro Truck Simulator.

    They should make a sequel called big rigs the retribution of the motorbikes that ride to hell make it now pleas... how about now... no well I am just going to wait here until that happens then!

    This is by far the best game ever made. The graphics are flawless, the driving is amazing, the AI is way ahead of it's time. I wish I could give this game a 69/10.

    When I started up the game, I was blow away. The menu screen was great. It was clean and organized, and a bonus awesome techno-rock mixed song playing. I immediately clicked "Custom Game" as it was the first option. There were four starting vehicles that I could race with, all incredible detail. I chose a green Semi truck called "Thunder". Then it took me too the map selection. I had 5 mapWhen I started up the game, I was blow away. The menu screen was great. It was clean and organized, and a bonus awesome techno-rock mixed song playing. I immediately clicked "Custom Game" as it was the first option. There were four starting vehicles that I could race with, all incredible detail. I chose a green Semi truck called "Thunder". Then it took me too the map selection. I had 5 map choices, Devil's Passage 1 and 2, urban areas, Forgotten Road 1, a rural area with scattered houses and a hamlet, and 2 maps that I didn't play called Nightride and Small Town Road, which are big cities. I chose Forgotten Road 1. When the game loaded, me and another racer in an orange van where at the start. I heard "Go!" and went full speed ahead. I heard the most realistic car sounds in a game, ever. I was totally immersed, by the sounds and the amazing graphics. Having the graphics on "high" feels like you stepped into a Virtual Reality machine. Looking away from the monitor for a second made me think I was still in BR:OTRR. Then I came to my first challenge, a bridge. The fantastic collision detection sent me flying after I hit the bridge. Luckily, I found a way out of the canyon I fell it. I continued through the level and I got near the finish. Luckily the AI player crashed into a tree and I passed the finish line first, winning. I got a heartwarming message for my victory, "YOU'RE WINNER" with a trophy. I went back to the main menu. I wanted to play again but I also wanted to write the review.
    THE FINAL VERDICT
    Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing was one of the best games I've ever played. The only problem is there is no multiplayer.

    Truly stunning graphics, amazing high speed racing. Sometimes I'm going so fast it looks like the competitors aren't even moving. The scenery is so beautiful that it looks like you actually go through it at times. The amazing physics become obvious when you initiate the high speed reversing system. In fact, my opponent was so fast it appeared to have not even moved at all the entire race. After hours of brutal gameplay, I finally won, and was congratulated with a beautiful trophy and the text, "Your'eI don't even know where to begin.     Truly one of the best games ever made. I really hope there will be a sequel one day, it would be a dream come true! I love how you feel like a god in this game and how you get rewarded with the most satisfying winning screen of all time; a GOLDEN trophy with the brilliantly spelled line: "You're winner". Life is great!

    Amazing, this is simply the best racing game of all time, if not the best video game of all time. With some of the most well designed tracks of any racing game I have ever played, like the majesty of devil passage 1, devil passage 2 and small town road.

    This game is just way better than DotA2: - It doesn't have a bad community. - Trucks are balanced much better as the champions in DotA2. - Unit collision in DotA2 is overrated, works way better in Big Rigs. - Maps are better in Big Rigs. - Sound effects are    3,9 userscore is really too low for this game..

    I must say this is the crowing piece of achievement created by a life form. This is so good. Gta V looks like garbage compared to this. Ocarina of Time is absolute trash. This game is what really makes it good to be an American. God Bless America let freedom buzz because you live in a apartment

    This is a game that truly stood the test of time, I can still go back to this and have more fun than any triple A title out there. The racing is one of the most realistic things i have ever had the joy to play and the damage modeling is superb. If you have never played this classic you are defiantly missing out. 10/10

Groundbreaking AI, breathtaking visuals far ahead of Crysis 3 or Star Citizen, a masterfully crafted musical score with the perfect mix between suspense and exhilaration, and to top it all off it has probably the most incredibly fun racing system to date. To think such a small publisher could produce something so incredibly fantastic is mindQuite possibly the greatest game in existence. Note that neither bridges or AI are mentioned in this title. I found my racing experience to be realistic and immersive. I was delighted by the inclusion of the infinite reverse mechanics, missing from other "realistic" games like Forza or Gran Turismo. 10/10, would bang again.… Expand

I love how the invisible cargo can fall off your truck as you go along, and all the invisible cops trying to pull you over as you go along!     This game is receiving a lot of bad reviews because it's some new experience that lots of people don't understand. Perfect gameplay, it's a visual masterpiece. You can take the QA assurance team did an amazing job because the game is perfect in all technical aspects. If you don't have it, don't lose your time in ANY other game. This is what gaming IS.

    This game is the best with its better Next-Gen graphics then any PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, and even the Ouya. The frame rate is super amazing. Need for Speed and even Forza can't compare or compete with each other. Big Rigs FTW!

    "You're winner!" is what i feel like after playing this work of art. Many of the so called "flaws" of this game were actually some of this game's greatest features. We'll begin with the "floating" tail lights. The next "glitch" is the clipping through objects. This was clearly intentional because the developers wanted to make a game with no boundaries, no limitations or restrictions, and that's exactly what they delivered. Which also ties in to how there are no walls on the edges of the maps, because there is no end! They wanted you to be able to explore in each direction indefinitely. Who knows? You might find something out there. Now, onto the fact that you always win. There IS a chance you lose, but 99% of the time the other truck doesn't just stop before the finish line so you win, it stops because it ran out of gas! Finally, we move onto the infinite acceleration in reverse. The explanation is simple: the truck has been outfitted with a time-traveling device in reverse that you'll be able to use once you hit -8,888mph. It will teleport you back to the beginning of the race. It was implemented as a sort of "redo" mechanic. And now you all will hopefully see what makes this game a true masterpiece, a game that can be considered a "game of the millenium"… Expand

    This game has the best physics in any game, Who cares about Half Life 2. Big Rigs is where its at. This game is so amazing that your always winner.

    This game is simply the best. The graphics are so good, making one want to drive around all day staring at the scenery, the AI is so perfectly designed, it even understands our desire to stare at the scenery and so it doesn't move. The game also obeys the laws of physics perfectly, especially when climbing mountains or reversing and the collision detection is out of this world.

    10/10 would ride through buildings again. It's such a good game! There's no collision so that you can keep on going as fast as you can! Additionally, you can go faster by driving backwards! It's so accurate that I wish they would make a sequel to this game!

When I bought this game at the low price of 90$ I was overwhelmed with the level of detail and ingenuity this game introduced me to. I was in another dimension sitting alongside my Big Rig. Most nights I simply cannot sleep due to Big Rigs. It has given me a whole new perspective on life.     The opponent doesn't move, you can drive through buildings and bridges, you can drive up a 90-degree hill without losing speed, and accelerate to over 10^28 times the speed of light in reverse. This game is a WINNER !

    What's with all of the hate? Everything about this game is a masterpiece. The plot goes places that I never thought it would go and even has my jaw hit the floor a few times. The game has no bugs I have found. The gameplay is intense as hell. No microtransactions. This game a true masterpiece.

    How people can see this as poor is beyond me. It was a statement way ahead of its time, pushing the envelope for artform gaming.     This game is so terribly broken and glitchy and such a complete disasterous mess that it became the probably funniest game ever. You can do whatever you want! Physics don't exist, you just drive through everything and manage to fly of the map with 1000 hpm ON REVERSE!

    Its so bad and ridiculous and this what makes this game so unbelievable funny and legendary.

    This game is really unique. It does everything what a normal racing game doesn't do. Such as being able to drive through buildings, being able to go out of bounds easily, not being able to lose and a really weird reverse acceleration. This game truly shows how savage the developers are!

Somehow having "Can you feel the sunshine" from Sonic R playing in the background turns this pile of garbage into the best game ever, like the game doesn't even have sound so playing music in the background goes a long way. upsides to this game: Auto-magically becomes the best game ever if you decide to play Sonic R music in the background

    This game is incredible. After decades of researching how to travel faster than light, all we had to do is shift a truck into reverse. Stellar Stone probably has the resources to cure cancer and solve cold fusion with their scientific knowledge.

    this, is like the dark souls of video games, only the most epic of the gamers will master this game, by driving backwards, truly, a homage to half life 2 accelerated backhopping, despite being released some years earlier, since the creators are time traveling gods, truly, a fantastic game

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This... is a simply jaw-dropping experience. It honestly feels futile to even attempt to articulate this masterpiece with the simple English language, because Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing is beyond the english language and beyond reality. From the first frame of this game that I saw I knew I needed to have it, so I bought a ps4 pro, 64 G. RAM adapter, and 3 terabytes of storage, and I was finally able to indulge myself with this blessing. Upon booting up, your first trial presents itself. You must be deemed worthy enough to begin the game, otherwise, it will crash after the first loading screen. Once you officially begin, you are greeted with the vast selection of big rigs. You can choose from a total of 5 trucks, each one more perfectly articulated then the last, and the tracks are scenic and beautiful, much like Breath of the Wild. When you begin, you'll immediately notice the silky smooth graphics and framerate. The game runs at 144p resolution and about -3 frames per second on average(if you have a good pc). The second thing you'll notice is the computer player's choice to not move at all during the race. This is representative of all of our deepest desires to relax and wait for truth of God to find us. If you pick your jaw back up from the floor, and begin the race, you'll notice the pure amount of freedom you have. You are able to let loose and glide through anything, because there's no collision detection. In every racing game I've played, my only complaint with the game is that I stop when I run into a rock. This is infuriating, but, thankfully, Big Rigs solves this issue. Next, you'll move backwards and begin to realize that you keep accelerating forever when you go backwards, meaning you can go about 3 times the speed of light, and the game decides that this is possible and you can win the race in 3 seconds in reverse. This makes speed runs of the game a special interest to me. Once the game begins to wind down, though, you see that finish line within your reach, and you begin to feel the somber moment, realizing that this experience is over so soon. But the ending of the game makes up for those feelings, facing you with the biggest emotion you've ever felt. It is by far the saddest video game ending of all time, even sadder than Minesweeper's, and you're greeted with a still png of a trophy and the words "You're Winner" under it. This truly makes me feel satisfied and allows me to realize, truly, that I'm winner. When you get passed that screen, the only emotion you can feel is the desire to do it again. If you play this game, you will not stop playing it for three years. This game has saved my marriage, and you must play it.… Expand

    Imagine a game that would make "Smokey and the Bandit" look like Gilbert and Sullivan. I know it's difficult to imagine but Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing is so pathetic it makes a sandpaper-and-vinegar enema sound positively delightful. Not that I would know.
