    An abomination of a game, the developers have a mind of a goldfish to make a truck racing game that where it features police cars but in-game it doesn't feature any police cars, the gameplay is pain in the ass, some tracks aren't functioning correctly or make crash the game.

    This game is just absolutely terrible. The game is a disgrace to the racing genre and probably any game that involves trucks racing against each other.

    The graphics in this game are horribly ugly, and the game looks like it came out in 1997, instead of six years later. Originally, the opponent never moved at all and you could win a race without any problem, and even if they managed to make the opponent move, the opponent still stops right before it can even cross the finish line. The game is also silent without any music, just sound effects, in which there are only 2 of them, which are the accelerate and brake sounds. The game actually does have music, but it wasn't implemented in the game. The biggest flaw in this horrible game is that it was unfinished and looks like a game that barely even reached the pre-alpha stage. Because of this, this game has a lot of bugs and glitches, where there's no collision detection and you can pass through everything, there's no water, you can leave the map, and if you go in reverse, the truck accelerates so high, you can actually leave the map even faster. There are also a lot of ways to crash the game.

    However, the unused music is actually pretty decent! Too bad it was unused probably because of lack of time to insert it, but despite that, it's still surprisingly decent.

    Overall, Big Rigs is an example of "How to not make a racing game with trucks". I have no idea how this game was allowed to be released, despite it's very broken and glitchy nature. Seriously, do not, and I mean, do not play this game.    … Expand

    There is even a patch to this game that does not improve it much either. All it does is add the sound of your engine with no other SFX and music added, can now play the track that crashes the game, changes the legendary "You're Winner" to "You Win", and the AI now moves but still stops right before the finish line. That's all what the patch fixed.

    Tremendous gambling crap. The whole game is a glitch. there is nothing elaborate. it's like it's a joke. Not even the Ai reacts, the screen of "you win!" is misspelled, without a doubt it deserves to be the lowest rated game by metacritic. but I give it 1 point because although horrible, it is an experience that you must try to laugh.     The game sucks so bad I literally don't have enough time to explain everything wrong with it and an amatuer programmer could make a better game in 30 minutes to an hour. Just watch AVGN's video on it. But I will give it a 1 because it has one singular redeeming quality. It is a bit entertaining to watch the truck reverse until it is literally moving faster than light.

    Big Rigs gráficamente no esta mal, los modelados de los camiones son algo decentes para la época pero bastante pequeñitos. El cielo y algún que otro decorado esta bastante bien, y los dientes de sierra casi ni se notan por lo que es un punto bastante positivo. Lo malo en esta categoría es que hay glitches de textura en la carretera y hay tiempos de carga largos, aunque el juego va bastante fluido, cosa que se agradece. Y... ya no hay mas puntos positivos...
    Ahora si las cosas malas: No hay multijugador, cosa que podría haber salvado en parte a este juego, no hay clipping, no hay limite de velocidad al ir en reversa y las físicas son inexistentes. Podría decirse que los glitches forman parte del juego y hay que hacer oídos sordos. Mientras que hubo peores juegos en la historia, como Crazy Bus o Hong Kong 97, este no se me escapara de mi lista negra...

    If you think you played one of the worst games before, well you haven't played the legend BIG RIGS. BIG RIGS has everything a game wants to have like, no collision, reverse is faster than actually driving and hill climbing that is completely effortless.

    With the complete lack of hit detection, racing, competition, physics, and logic all together, this is as far from being a game as it can be, as the hilariously broken and unfinished mess that is this isn't necessarily something you play, but rather experience. In that regard, I do recommend it to those looking for a good chuckle, but not really to anyone else otherwise.

Just about everything in this game seems broken and unfinished. You drive under the bridge. You can go over mountains. Hell, you can go backwards at 10 million MPH and reverse time and space itself. However, in the new update, they did made it so that the AI could actually race, but they won't even cross the finish line. There is no sound, however, someone is being credited for sound!     I downloaded the game just for fun and found this so horrible, I laugh for about an hour. So I give a 1/10 just because I laugh ! However, I think Big Rigs 2 will be better :P

    This game is full of glitches.No matter what you do the screen will flash a sign saying you are a winner.It makes no sense that your truck can go through mountains and buildings and the speed increases when you are climbing a mountain.WORST RACING GAME OF ALL TIME

    This game is terrible. Normally, the cpu's just stay in place or let you win. One track isn't even pickable. You can go straight through things. You go backwards faster than forwards. And lastly, the infamous youre winner screen all make this game super terrible

    This is easily one of the worst games ever made. You can literally drive through anything in this game and going up a hill makes you go even faster! You can even escape the game by just going in one direction until you're in the Void. You can accelerate infinitely if you go in reverse! Don't even think about losing, because your opponent will either never move or stop before the finish line.

    Even if it seems cool to drive through many things, but this doesn't even include crash effects. This is, as I should say, a truckload of glitches. You drive though bridges, even from above, hills should've slowed you down, driving in reverse in a speed of 2005 mph is too mind crazing, and no level boundaries. This game is so bad that you can get dumb after playing it for 30 minutes.

    Imagine a game that would make "Smokey and the Bandit" look like Gilbert and Sullivan. I know it's difficult to imagine but Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing is so pathetic it makes a sandpaper-and-vinegar enema sound positively delightful. Not that I would know.
