Feb 4, 2025While it draws clear inspiration from Castle Crashers, Big Helmet Heroes successfully carves out its own identity with new combat mechanics, modern graphics, and its own unique sense of humor. This is a title that can easily be enjoyed by players of any age range.

Mar 4, 2025In all, Big Helmet Heroes is a very fun game that is simple and silly in all the best and most charming ways. It can be a bit laggy at times, but with over thirty characters with four main fighting styles, it's a very satisfying romp especially with a friend. For any players that love a wacky beat 'em up, games to play with friends, or both, Big Helmet Heroes is certainly one to take a look at!

Mar 22, 2025Undeniably fun and appealing to all ages, Big Helmet Heroes follows in the footsteps of great co-op beat 'em ups that isn't afraid to be fun for the sake of it.

Feb 12, 2025Big Helmet Heroes isn’t going to dethrone Castle Crashers as the wildest, weapon-wielding brawler. But this effort is certainly better than many competitors. With a patch or two to remedy the occasional crash, Exalted Studios’ might just land a unexpected hit.

Feb 14, 2025Big Helmet Heroes is a silly game, but that’s by design, which makes it not only silly but a ton of fun, too.
-
Feb 3, 2025Big Helmet Heroes is simple and does what it sets out to do. It’s a fun time, but it struggles with any gameplay depth, leading to a lack of longevity; I did enjoy my time here, especially with the presentation.
-
Feb 3, 2025Big Helmet Heroes is a charming little cooperative beat ’em up that’ll be a delight to smaller family members and parents alike. A lack of unique objectives throughout most of the stages might be a bit of a bore and visibility issues can sometimes frustrate, but there’s enough here for an amusing local coop experience.

Feb 3, 2025As someone who grew up playing the everliving life out of Castle Crashers, don’t overlook this one. It’s different enough not to fully replace the love of your life, but it’s an excellent addition to the “adorable knights beating the crap out of everything they encounter” genre titles like Castle Crashers popularized. It works fantastic in this 2.5D style, and I’m surprised nobody has really tried this before. [Highly Recommended]
