    this has truly been one of my favorite games, with a total war mixed total war concept and its real depictions of strategies actually used during the civil war can give history lovers a great surprise

    The basic strategy element of Battleplan: American Civil War relies on one core mechanic, that of runners who influence how orders are delivered to units, and it fails to accurately represent many other elements that determined the outcome of an engagement.

    There is talk of a future patch that will allow players to slow the game down, but it’s the game that is on offer today that I’m being tasked to judge. As it stands, there is enough here to keep it afloat, but it is only a token victory.
