    Cannot be played - downloaded it, tried to launch the game, forces me to go to some **** webpage, so it's not even launching via the goddamn EA Play app, and when I try to launch the campaign via the webpage where EA Play app forced me to go, it tells me I don't have the game installed.

    Yeah, you can f-ck right off, EA.

    Omg what was I thinking? I gave this game a solid 10 back in 2015. NO. This game is a disaster. I think that I just wrote the review when I was playing the first hours of it. This game is something like Condition Zero was to CS, but poorly. The campaign is meh, the multiplayer, maps, gunfight, netcode, it's just not fun.

    In order to launch the game you gotta joining a match on a website. Because there are no players, I gotta join community servers, I join and I get kicked, why? No reason. I join another server, I get kicked, why? NO REASON. So why are you letting people kick you out of the server, but not only server also making you close the whole application?     Das ist wirklich eines der schlecht programmiertesten Spiele, die ich jemals gesehen habe. Die Ladezeiten sind schrecklich, Texturen fehlen, zum Teil ganze Gebäude, bzw. Inseln.     Boring, uninteresting campaign, multiplayer is basically bf4 but with less cool vehicles. The ball was dropped on this one.

    One of the few games where I want to scream "Shut up and return my money back." This is what is it? How could you entrust the franchise to some clowns with a disgusting reputation? From Battlefield there is only a name.

    Hardline as an independent game is very not bad as a part of the Battlefield series she looks too ordinary and empty. The first BF where a singlpleer looks better, than a multiplayer. A game came out much optimized, than the 4th part. And frankly speaking all have ignored her, and it is the best BF after BF3 and BC2. She originally looks, she is cheerful. She is purely INFANTRY, and it forHardline as an independent game is very not bad as a part of the Battlefield series she looks too ordinary and empty.     $120 Dollars to play this sounds like EA is desperate for money even then the game is more of a disappointment its just a reskin of BF4 with cops and robbers campaign is cheesy with COD style set pieces and broken unbalanced multiplayer and an empty one at that

    I´m done withe battlefields. Unlocking feels like never ending job. **** of cheaters. Antilag makes me feel like I could all of my hair out of my head.

    Pretty nice graphics tho.

    Was a huge fan of the BF series, untill this turd came out. Now I'm a bit more cautious when buying BF games. It should've been DLC to BF4, and even than I would've skipped it.

    Not bad for a Beta Release.. oh wait the game has been out a year and its still full of bugs !
    shoot at people and the bullets ricochet in thin air.. its a bad copy of counterstrike, payday 2 and call of duty all in one.. don't buy it whatever you do.. friends told me not to get it and i ignored them, well that was a silly mistake..i only paid £12 for it a year after release, but still    Not bad for a Beta Release.. oh wait the game has been out a year and its still full of bugs !

The only servers available are for the worst modes (deathmatch, hotwire that looks more like a bad gta than battlefield, and conquest large). Everybody uses some unbalanced weapon/tool like flir. maps are **** up. Community is mostly children. In one word: frustration. From the search for the server to the actual gameplay.I tried really hard to play this game, but it's simply unplayable.     One of the WORST GAMES i ever played !!!! BATTLEFIELD 3 is much better . i always get kicked without any reason the gameplay is **** i just spawn and keep dying, HOW THEY GET POSITIVE ranking ????

Not because the game is bad - it isn't really, it's kind of nice but way faster paced than BF4, more akin to COD or CS:GO - but don't buy it because you'll won't be able to play online. Between Americas and Euro zone, there were 4 populated servers at prime time on 09/09/2015. That will only get worse as time goes by.     The poor FOV makes it absolutely unplayable. The FOV is equal to the gun aiming FOV. It made me sick.

    Now, some games have bad FOV, but you can play it with some effort, and it is just an annoyance, but is not the case here.
    This game cannot be played with this poor FOV, and there is no hack, no file edit, not cheatengine table to fix it.    … Expand

    This could have easily been a BF4 DLC but they decided to sell it as a whole new game - with add ons such as premium even! Shame on you EA for this blantant money grab. The game mechanics play exactly the same and BF4. Same boring corridor shooter that BF4 is that tries too hard to compete with call of duty.

Chrome isn't supported, Firefox isn't supported, Microsoft Edge isn't supported, if you are on Windows 10, only Internet Explore will work, but its just a matter of time before MS drop support for that old browser. I have hated the browser plugin launcher since BF3 and nowThis game will soon be unplayable. The browser plugin is being phased out by all browsers and no updates in sight.     if you use any form of sli or crossfire, the game have a memory leak that will crash your game 5 min into playing. Google BFH Directx error sli and you will see plenty people having that problem. I run 2x 660 in sli and without sli I can barely run the game at the lowest settings. with sli I can run ultra settings 100 fps but only for about 5 min because of the memory leak.

    "You are running windows 10, its your own fault" - people might say. And yes I do. And play GTA V, The Witcher 3, most blizzard games and countless other steam games, all with the same system and OS. All running ultra settings, from Full HD to 4K/Ultra HD (use Samsungs cheap 4k monitor). SLI works for all the other games. 3 crashes in the Witcher 3 after 100 hours of gameplay. GTA V have a few more crashes, due to network

    You know what they say "EA fool me 34 times ... " Not again. My last BF game was BF3. Skipped BF4 because of its problems but was missing BF so I got this one. Well time for me to accept BF is a failed and milked to the max franchise, same as Dragon Age and I will be holding out on Mass Effect till I can pirate it(have both franchises legally on my origin account). I already payed for it with this 1 hour played overpriced garbage that I can not refund due to 3rd party seller..    … Expand

Because in all honesty in the first hour there was 15 minutes of gameplay and most of that was tutorials.     Battlefield does this a lot, mixing the idea of storyline and game, but it has yet to achieve the balance. Personally I wish it would stop altogether, you don't see people signing up to the BF servers for the storyline and it’s true about fps games in general. Storyline is an added benefit, if done well can be the cherry on top, but by no means important in this game genre. So don’t give me story immersion and then force me to sit through it, because I’d rent a cop movie if I wanted that.

    So the added features for this game is the Arrests, as instead of shooting you have the ability of a “peaceful takedown”, a novelty that wears off in a matter of moments. Seriously if you as an officer of the law booked in that many criminals in one day your colleagues would hate you for the paper work you had just descend on them. So what is the point of arrest in this game? Just the points, the moral alternative that has no purpose except tricking you into believing that game and real life are the same… and by that extension you are a good person.

    In the quest to become something more than a fps Battlefield Hardline has gone soft. In the attempt to offer something more realistic in the battle scenario department, it should charge for criminal offenses. For trying to make me believe that life in the police force has any resemblance to this game it should be sentenced for perjury.    … Expand

    the single player story is not enough interesting...cliche...different bugs...HUD and guides are badly represented...the loading pages take too long. I admire the new genre of "detective and criminals" and the courage to make a difference but it still sucks...boring game in single player mode. seriously they should reconsider about it.

    This game is like any other tablet games it does not belong to the original battlefield series i regret for buy this ;/ i would like to stay playing in battlefield 4 at least u don't have to show ur stupid badge all the time and hit the right Button in the right moment to show what ? that you are smart and fast !! stupid game i can't play this anymore akhh

    I played only single player. The game is awful. The story line is generic and awful, as if taken from bad cop movies and TV shows. The whole game plays like an introduction. There is game play all too frequently interrupted by cut scenes and scripted, mini-game sequences.

    Even when shooting, when the action gets "intense", the game is boring.

    It's unplayable.

    It could receive a 3 or 4 if there was no mention of the Battlefield name, since it has, it should be negative...
    Battlefield 5 will have to be the greatest Battlefield game from all the times or the franchise might be over...

    Battlefield Hardline offers a fun single-player experience. Arresting suspects could have used some extra polish, as it's way too easy to manipulate the AI to surrender. The multiplayer mode is quite fun as well, but it suffers from lack of content and for the fact that it plays out like a stripped down version of Battlefield 4. The game's heritage aside, Battlefield Hardline is by no means a poor effort. [May 2015]
