ChristofferKMar 12, 2010This is a great game, it have had some launch issues but those are temporary, it's not a perfect game (hence the score of 9) but IMO it's one of the best FPS games released lately, as long as EA gets the whole server issues under control it will be an absolutely awesome game. It is more an arcade then a simulator for sure, not something for the super hardcore simulator player I think.

JasonRMar 15, 2010This game has got to be one of the most realistic war games I've ever played. Although, the spawning is horrible, you have to unload a full magazine to kill some one. (If you aim for the torso.) The Controls are fairly easy, and being able to fly helicopters is truly satisfying. TLR gives this a 10/10

AdamCMar 23, 2010Bad Company 2 is an amazing game. A reboot of Battlefield 2, if you will, the multiplayer component is spectacular and absolutely will make a battlefield Veteran happy. @ Trevor who gave this game a 1.... Having a computer that can't run the game properly is no reason to give it a 1. For anyone looking for a comparison, I run the game maxed out with a Q9550, 4 gb ram, and a GTX 275.

ErnestMar 23, 2010Brilliant game. Great squad based multiplayer, lack of lag and the SP is solid. As for Trevor's comment, he has a low end computer. The minimum requirements are a 8800GT with a 3.0GHz dual core. I have this and it runs at 1440x900 at low settings fine. Still looks great though.

BrettB.Mar 9, 2010The best multiplayer game there is at the moment despite what trevor said this game scales fairly well with old PCs I have a buddy who is playing it on his laptop with a 8600GT M at around medium with some low settings and no AA. But if you have the hardware to run BC2 on max the game looks amazing.

TimothyT.Mar 9, 2010@ Trevor, an 8600GT is high end? It was midrange 3 years ago when it came out. We're four generation ahead (in terms of video cards) ahead now. And a decent gaming PC will run you about $600, not $200. Simply make a smarter choice next time instead of getting an overkill processor with a crap video card. Also, if you were lagging, that's a network issue, not a PC issue.

The new single-player mode isn’t that interesting, but the multi-player part is fantastic. With new destructable environments and new game modes Bad Company 2 is the best Battlefield game so far.
-
Do you like first-person shooters? If the answer is yes, buy Battlefield: Bad Company 2. If there's a weakness it lies in the slightly brief single-player campaign, but the brilliant, potentially Modern Warfare 2 beating multiplayer more than picks up the slack.
-
Though it occasionally stumbles, there's one thing that Bad Company 2 clearly demonstrates: DICE has graduated from the, "can only do a multiplayer FPS" class, and is perfectly capable of making a great all-around game.
