I have no idea if multiplayer is actually good, all I can say is that plot is VERY boring, probably more boring than Brian A. Miller's films. Gameplay is semigood, weapons are amazing, but I am not sure if I'll finish the game because of how poorly it's pased and how little thought was put into making it an enjoyable experience with only parts of it being actually remarkable.

The description on the box boasts "vast battlefields" and "wide open warfare" when actually the usable map areas are more a medium to small size and are designed to funnel players into predictable choke points which grows very tiresome after only a few short weeks of play. Each map has it's own favorite repetitive sniper spot(s) where you'll often find between 3 - 10 snipers doing 'their' thing instead of anything resembling helping out their teammates or attempting to help win a round, which when you consider there's only 16 players per side can be quite frustrating for those trying to complete objectives. A lot of the time multiplayer matches turn out to be just another 'sniper match' with 80% of players choosing the sniper class and hanging back sniping. With that many snipers on the field standing still and staying alive for more than a few seconds is almost impossible. Realism is definitely not what this game has set out to achieve, killing people with short ranged shot guns from ridiculously long distances is quite common place as is snipers with silenced fully-automatic sniper rifles taking on assault class soldiers at close range and coming out on top. The single-player campaign also has something to offer but just like the multiplayer, it's short lived. Good fun for a few weeks, nothing ground breaking. Expand

There are literally thousands of users with crashing and other stability problems with the game. There are also some other issues with connectivity that are being addressed. There are some weapon and class balance problems as well that leave many players wondering what EA was thinking. The maps however seems pretty well balanced, though some of them have quite a few glitch spots that are too easy to exploit if you know where they are. In all reality, BC2 feels more like a $50 beta test than a retail release. That being said, it's still fun to play and much better than other games in its class like MW2. The game does require a decent gaming rig to play, so keep that in mind. Better yet, you may be better off waiting until the game goes on sale. Maybe by then the stability issues will have been corrected. Far from a 10, a 7 seems like a fair rating since the game has a lot of potential. Expand

Firstly, it's fun and requires more teamplay than most games making things more interesting. The weapon mechanics are better than a lot of games today however at the same time they're extremely flawed in some areas (Example: Shotgun= Sniper, 2 shot kill from any range...) and overall I can't say they're as good as other tactical shooters like STALKER or ARMA II. It's biggest downfall is how dumbed down it is compared to the previous battlefield titles. Weapons do a lot less damage and everything is overly simplified. The class setups are pretty illogical and hurrendous, again they probably assumed console gamers don't think too much and won't care, but it really takes away from gameplay. Medics with LMGs is just stupid, it's not cool, it makes no sense and doesn't feel or work well in game. Assault's ammo-boy role is equally senseless and feel's wrong. Finally, there's the balance issues which again are more or less because the game is aimed towards consoles: since when were AT weapons cheap and overpowered vs infantry in battlefield series? Well they are now. Giving medic class the LMG and accuracy compensation for lack of prone has made them overpowered and as a utility class it leads to things like full teams of medics in certain modes. A lot of cheap, imbalanced things exist in this game. In the end it's pretty graphics, unique gameplay, and half-decent shooting mechanics keep it afloat but it's nothing like PC games used to be. If you get into it and find a nice clan you may get a little over 100 hours overall, after that I'd say the flaws will start to shine a lot more and the appeal will ware off. Expand

Which can get pretty tiresome, at some points I felt like I was playing a shoot-em-up game, most of the game is just kill all enemies at point A, defend point B, then go kill everybody at point C. The best parts of the campaign were where you were doing something differant, like flying the UAV, calling air strikes, or sniping in the thunder. If only there was more of that, it would really have made a good campaign. But it really just is something you just wanna get completed as fast as possible, just to find out what happens. Some of the parts were kinda predictable, yet I was surprised a few times. I actually enjoyed dying as part of the campaign, that was actually a nice turn of events. But would ofcourse have liked being back in WW2 a bit longer. An other thing that makes the singleplayer campaign good is that it isn't solo, you actually got some team mates. Which really was nice, having team mates with you all the time is really a positive thing for singleplayer, the standard just-meet-with-NPCs-in-cinematics thing was getting old. The multiplayer is generally fun for a fair amount of hours. Personally I think the differance between the standard weapons and the final unlocks is too big. But ofcourse for people like me, you can just enjoy killing people with the standard weapons and than brag about being better than everybody else for not using your unlocks. Also I was very disappointed at the lack of any (mayor) infantry only mode. Vehicles are cool and all, but unless your engineer (or a lucky recon) you don't stand a chance against vehicles. But the mayor downturn of the multiplayer is punkbuster, expect to go through a lot troubles just to get in-game. And don't be surprised to see a cheater in a punkbuster secured server. It's a fun game, and I'll definitely keep playing it for a while. But I honestly can't imagine any mayor community left in a year. Expand

I have noticed that most of the big fans of the original line of BF games (BF1942, BFV, BF2, BF2142) have been very disappointed in the mediocrity that DICE has been spitting out recently, seriously DICE, you used to win "Game of the Year" awards back in the day as if they were a dime a dozen, we all expected at least something good. enough about that, on to the actual game. Its mediocrity at its most mediocre. its still puny groups of people fighting on maps where visibility is near nothing due to all the dust/snow thats flying all over the place. not only that, but I find a hacker at the rate of 1/3 of all the games i play in, people who somehow manage to headshot a bunch of players PERFECTLY in rapid succession from the other side of the stupid map without missing a single shot. and about the visibility, DICE decided to focus on their game engine more than the gameplay... again... I can understand how destructible environments is nice, but the hyperbolic destructive power of all explosives in the game is just nuts, along with the ridiculous amounts of dust that explosives create. having a 40mm grenade blast a hole in a concrete wall 6 feet wide makes no sense, it seems like all the structures in this game are made of Styrofoam filled with compressed dust inside... adding to the list of things i want to complain about is the lack of a comm-rose, combined with the fact that you can only call out a single enemy every 10 or so seconds, which doesnt help when you have spotted a group trying to flank you, you cant even make it clear that you want ammo, or a medic, or even say thanks, that combined with no prone position makes it immensely frustrating to try to scout enemy locations... the last major thing i want to complain about is the regenerating health... I dont get it, WHY does EVERY FPS game HAVE to have regenerating health? even in Multiplayer? how does running away and sucking on your thumb for 3 seconds equate to growing your legs back all of a sudden? it kills the point of being a medic, and encourages heroism, where the very good players run into a enemy stronghold, picks off a couple guys, then runs off for 3 seconds and repeats, and theres no way of killing that player even when they took 30 bullets to the chest over the span of 20 seconds, the idea of working with your team is almost non-existent in BFBC2. Though with all that said, the game is moderately enjoyable, and the thing I am most impressed by is the fact that its closer to being an actual BATTLEFIELD game when compared to BFBC. At this point, I have lost all hope in DICE, and I think its only a matter of time before they turn out like the old amazing game producers like RAREWARE(Goldeneye007,Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie) and WESTWOOD(Command & Conquer), both were swallowed into the maw of EA, never to produce another great game. I am not expecting great things from BF3 at this point, from what Ive heard and seen of the game, its still going to be a far cry from the greatness of the old BF games, since apparently, FPS games are all about entertaining 10 year old kids with ADD these days with all the flashy graphics and explosions and none of the depth and strategy they used to contain. The fact that you sometimes can get 50 meters in front of your mates, before they consider regrouping with you, and the fact that enemies can walk just by you (espicially in the last mission) and that your squadmembers from time to time walk directly by enemys tend to be very disturbing. That is because by now everyone is high level and will have so many unlocked weapons you just will die and die and die. The game itself is fun but I will explain why I can only give it a 5. The reasons I take points off is the trend of giving us less in each new game. No more bots. Now you have no way to practice and try stuff out. Poor hitboxes and lag can make it frustrating to hit your target. Dedicated servers can only be rented, you can't set your own up anymore, which ties into why they removed bots Also possibly because of the destructible environment, would be hard to code a bot AI for that. Which is also probably why they removed prone, or maybe they took it out to try to keep people from camping. But it doesn't work, you will still be team based raped and headshot by the sniper 5000 miles away or shot to a million pieces by the helicopter whore so you always have to move in a convoy and in team. Which is the biggest joke because the game is called bad company which are basically the rejects in the militrary who are too insane for anything but a special company that is sent in to ruthlessly kill (and be killed as canon fodder). So it is ironic how many f-tards playing this really make the game title shine. But still it is somehow very fun, just disappointing at how little we get for it. Expand

In conclusion this game could have used MUCH more polishing up before it was released, but a decent game overall. Expand

I do warn those who attempt to play wireless, this game is one of the worst optimized for your situation, strongly consider dedicated cable.

The multiplayer shows a lot of promise, however, there is a very steep frustration curve you need to get past. And that is because even by the 2nd week of release, there were hundreds of people lvl 30s 40s and 50s, who can basically run straight at you and take a full clip of XMB without even dying, and still knife you while you're reloading. To show timeframe commitment, I spent 6 hours one day and I only achieved 60% from lvl 2 to 3. Think about the hundreds of hours you must invest to get the sweet perks these people with seemingly infinite free time have.

Aside from this, the multiplayer is full of kids under 15, who have the option to freely SWAP TEAMS whenever they want. So if they aren't happy losing, they can join the other team and destroy those with enough integrity to stick it out -- Horrible design in this regard, no public kick option (IE majority votekick), so when you finally find a beginner server with "Lvl 25 and under", it will surely be packed with people lvl 40+ who are just farming kills, and unless there's an admin around (never seen one in 20 hours), he won't be removed. And since EXP is gained 10fold by the winning team, good luck finding enough quality teammates willing to stick it out and not ditch to the other side. Apparently there is some great honor to be achieved by playing like a complete chump. Longevity will be determined by the community's ability to adopt new players without ruining the experience for them. It's dominated by children though, not surprising that they ignore this forsight. Good luck finding even one mature person in these servers.

So if you have a job, or a life, you will probably not find time to dominate the 9th grade arena that is BC2-online, but it will definitely be getting some sale time on steam in the future, and it might be worth the sale price just to enjoy the campaign.

By the time you have all the weapons, you know what you are doing and your not making stupid mistakes anymore like running out into the middle of nowhere with no cover. But the main problem is, once you have all the stuff, you get bored.
OH, and there are tremendous balance problems, like helicopters, a good pilot in one of those things will spawn camp your entire team and will be invincible.

Now, after hearing recommendations from my friends I decided to pick it up while it was on sale. ($14.99 on Steam) I figured that like its predecessor, this game was about the multiplayer, so I only played the first missions of the campaign (I don't think much of them) and afterward joined a server. Upon doing so, I noticed something within the first few seconds of playing. The sandbox-y feeling that I enjoyed so much back in Battlefield 2 was gone. Now, these much smaller firefight maps that felt cramped and linear have taken over and the huge maps that I loved had vanished completely. EA changed what made Battlefield ... Battlefield, and instead replaced many of those things with elements heavily inspired by games like Call of Duty. This came as a major disappointment to me, but I guess it isn't entirely bad. What they took from the other games, they built upon it and made it better. The destructible environments are fantastic, the fast-paced action is great, and even though the maps are much smaller, you are still given vehicles to travel around in. These elements makes the game-play more varied than the other generic shooters out on the market. Overall, it's good. Perhaps not worth every penny, but definitely worth picking up if you're into the Modern Warfare branch of the Call of Duty series, and would like to try something a little different. As for the hardcore Battlefield 2 / 2142 fans, if you love what the earlier Battlefield games had to offer, then hold onto that copy and save your cash. You're not going to find much of it left in Bad Company 2. -- Afterthoughts: The graphics are great. The game runs smoothly on my relatively cheap computer. I am a long time gamer since the start of gaming, seen it all. Played a bit of the campaign but mostly on X-box live. Lets start with the graphics that everybody is saying so great. My TV is 53" 6 year old HD projection (witch weren't that great to start with) so the graphics look like sh** and I have trouble seeing enemies and tanks even close up some times, you have to look for motion for something to stand out. Especially with all the constant smoke and dust obscuring visibility. You shoot an enemy up and a cloud of smoke obstructs further aiming. Not knowing where your enemies are is very realistic but it seems like most of the times you die you never see it coming, sometime the radar will light up enemies when they are shooting at you but allot of times it doesn't which is very frustrating because you can't rely on it. They are trying to take 3D life where you have your 6 senses working 360 degrees and peripheral vision - and then translate it to 2D which doesn't work. They have to give you alternate senses to rely on to replace the ones lost. Allot of times it ends up being just a free fraul off killing and deaths unless you are on a drastically winning team or are on a private chat with 3 other friends to coordinate attacks and expose enemies by sacrificing your own. The ability to respawn on your own personal and bases makes dying only a minor inconvenience adding to the free fraul. In conquest respawning only at home base would solve this plus being made to take bases in order and the game ending when you posses all the bases would eliminate the craziness and late game home base blood baths creating a straight forward goal based battle. The next biggest frustration with the game is getting stuck on you surroundings either waking or driving. When walking anything over 6 inches tall (step height) stops you dead forcing you to jump as well as hills you think you should be able to climb up stop you and you sit there jumping like an idiot trying to get up. You will end up pulling your hair out because of this. When driving a tank you get stuck on almost everything. There is not much that can stop a tank in real life but when you get stuck on a wooden fence or building it's frustrating. Some things come down easy an others do not - very frustrating You should be able to flatten the grass/bamboo/tin huts in the Vietnam version without even slowing down. Some will break with effort but by then you are dead from enemy fire that you can't locate it's origin . Next is the weapons capabilities, as you build rand they give you more weapons not necessarily better ones. As you scroll thought the list of weapons you can't compare them directly, you find two you like at opposite ends of the list and by the time you scroll from one to the other you can't hardly remember where the bar was - to solve this give the power / accuracy / range bars a numerical value. As well the ability to only use one spec in each of the three spec columns is a piss off. You put hundreds of hours into the game to earn this stuff and only get to use 3. They make you choose between armor or ammo, targeting systems or speedy reloading ect............................It feels like all the time and progress is futile. You should be able to use them all, you put the time in you reap the benefits. If it gives you to much of an advantage make them harder to get or set up games where your entrance depends on ability. Low rank players play with other low rankers ect... Another thing that is frustrating is the aiming ability, whenever you hit the button it seems like I am always pointing at the enemies feet. If you set the sensitivity low it moves to slow and you end up dead, too fast and you over shoot the target every time, I can't seem to find a happy middle ground. Always liked some sort of mild auto aiming. Lastly the gun sights projected out in front of you whether walking or driving are either white or lighted red or blue. The white being the worst, you have a hard time seeing them especially when going though like back ground colours or smoke. Half the time you can't tell where you are aiming. The 4x red dot scope is a great spec but you have to pass up other good specs to use it. I should have waited for version 3. I hope they address all the problems with #2 and fire all their testers and hire some that know what they are doing and have some balls to say that the game isn't ready yet!â Expand

The objectives can be fun if you get on team with players that actually go for the objectives. But that is not the games fault. My overall issue with this game is how often it freezes up. The eyefinity will force the game to crash, if you have certain built in sound cards then any audio setting besides default will crash your computer, and unfortunately the knifing system can still be very frustrating when it does not feel like working properly. I love this game, but unfortunately its not being supported anymore with updates, so we get to deal with the way it is. Expand

Ive always been a fan of the Battlefield series - Please note, most of this review is based on the multi-player aspect of the game. One thing I find frustrating about BC2 is the leveling up aspect of the game. The idea being you aid your team with healing, repairing, kill streaks and you gain experience which in term grants you new weapons and perks. Fair enough. But the leveling upIve always been a fan of the Battlefield series - Please note, most of this review is based on the multi-player aspect of the game. One thing I find frustrating about BC2 is the leveling up aspect of the game. The idea being you aid your team with healing, repairing, kill streaks and you gain experience which in term grants you new weapons and perks. Fair enough. But the leveling up aspect of the game should not make it unenjoyable for new players starting the game as level 1. As a new player you will find yourself gunned down, killed with one shot kill rifles, unable to assist your team (medics dont even start with a healing pack.... you have to unlock it). It was only once I had unlocked some good weapons and perks where I started to enjoy the multiplayer. The Hardcore mode for the servers is amazing. hardcore removes most of the hud, and increases the damage of the weapons. This results in a much more 'realistic' style of game where controlled, aimed shots from cover are better than running in the open jumping and shrugging off bullets. One problem I did find with the hardcore mode was again, the leveling up. There is a perk which you unlock at level 15 called Magnum bullets. This perk increases your weapon of choices damage significantly. The weapons in HC already do significant damage but you cant help feeling annoyance when the person you are shooting at manages to quickly snap off a round which kills you, while leaving him badly wounded. Vehicles have always been a big thing for the Battlefield series and BC2 is no different. One or two things I will mention is that the Helicopters are slightly overpowered when in the hands of an expert player - and there are alot of expert players. You also you get some **** players who will TK you in order to get to a heli or tank before you, however that is more an issue with the player base than the game itself. Graphics wise - the game is on par with what I would expect from a recentish first person game. The physics of the game are great with every building being able to be destroyed. An enemy squad bunkered up in a building? Destroy one of the walls and storm in from an unexpected angle. The game does put you in a sense of awe with buildings exploding round you, the dieing screams of your team-mates, the pang of bullets flying past and the rumble of your heavy armor advancing forward seeking a new target or building to decimate. The single player - Good enough but nothing 'wowing'. Its the usual thing where the good guys end up winning, your team-mates never die, and you end up killing hundreds of poor Russians without a scratch to show for it. Once you complete it you will prob not feel the need to replay it. I will mention the cut-scenes which add an element of humor to the game and set up the plot quite well. All in all, A good game that I recommend. Well worth the nine or so dollars I spent purchasing this game from a Steam Sale. The reason I gave the game a 7 is the fact, as I mentioned before, you have to really unlock alot of weapons and perks before you can start to actually enjoy yourself ingame. Till you get these weapons and perks you will find yourself constantly frustrated, unable to kill people, unable to assist your team and slowly crawling up the exp ladder. A game should not punish its new player base to the point where it becomes unenjoyable while top level players are racking up the scores. Expand

Gameplay-wise shooting lots of different weapons is satisfying, but I found myself dying from nothing a LOT of times. This made everything much more frustrating especially when there's no quicksave and dying takes you a long way back each time. Also, trying to stray off the beaten path to flank enemies breaks the game. Many times I got stuck or died by going where the game didn't want me to.

Story-wise it felt like the characters were supposed to be likable and funny, but dialogues and interactions between the soldiers looked very unnatural and awkward. It didn't help that control is taken away from you every 10 minutes for a meaningless cutscene where nothing substantial happens.

However, when the game came out, all the sudden my connection seemed to lag even if my ping was hovering around 20 to 50.....This is my biggest problem with this game. The single player campaign is way too easy, and pretty simple definitely forgettable. The multiplayer has some cool maps and reward system. However Im gonna rate it as a 5 because yeah the graphics are good, some good maps, still all the same weapons and concept though, nothing new really to the Battlefield series other than the fact you can blow up buildings.... but god forbid you have any technical difficulty, EA support is a joke! I have no problem with any other game I own on steam when considering connectivity, hell I can still play l4d2 even when I have a high ping of around 150 or so...but their tips for resolving the lag issues is way too involved even after I closed several background applications. Me and several of my friends are all having similar problems here on the East Coast of U.S. extremely frustrating considering I spent like 50 bucks on this and I cant even play it now.....another thing....even when the server browser tells me it has a general low ping rating,..this really doesnt seem to matter or even be closely accurate, since the last game I played...like 10 min because the lag was so high, it told me a ping at 15, and was an East coast server in NY, but when I joined my ping was 275 and so were 10 of the other players out of 20!!!!!?????? I would have rated it higher, but since there are some serious problems for connectivity, it gets a 5 from me...My tips, jfind a friend with an xbox 360. the console port plays much much better, and no technical problems other than the occasional server kick. Awesome multiplayer when it runs smoothly, but like others have said this game is in need of some serious optimization. For most people with dual core computers it runs slowly even on the lowest settings. Connection problems abound, but EA assures us they are being worked on. Bad company 2 is a average-good shooter. First, the single player campaign is very bland as it puts you in a very linear story and featured with too many cut scenes which are not needed in a FPS game. It does not have too much fun to be honest and seems like it's trying to copy Call of Duty style which in my opinion is always mediocre. I prefer the older single-player modes in the Battlefield series where you can practice your skills on various maps and play with different toys that you would find in multiplayer. Yes, Battlefield is always about online play and that's why people like it. Multiplayer mode, however, is good. The online action is intense and you must be smart on choosing a squad because if your team did not coordinate right you are going to lose. Also the game provide tons of the unlocks and achievements, so you could just dig them out for months. Final words, I will say BC2 is a good multiplayer shooter harmed by mediocre SP campaign, yet it's definitely worth checking out if you enjoyed online shooter games. Expand

Синг сильно слабее конкурентов, мультиплеер тоже надолго не зацепил. Посредственно.

Time in game as of this review: 172.9 hours according to Steam.

I'd recommend this game, but it has some major problems. 1. WAY WAY too much smoke and dust clouds. Even a short spray of bullets will cause a cloud of dust that takes awhile to disappear, even when you shot at something like a window frame, wall corner, door frame, etc. 2. The vehicles suck, for the most part. 3.

    3. No option for team deathmatch, only Squad Deathmatch. (4 teams of 4 against each other)

    4. No option for free for all deathmatch.

    5. Every Squad Deathmatch map has one tank that continues to spawn. It's annoying and wasn't a good choice of vehicle for Squad Deathmatch. Humvees or 4-wheelers would have worked better. Maybe a few boats on the maps that have water.

    6. Only sniper rifles can be equipped with a sniper scope.

    7. Heli control(s) suck, and minigun control (that the heli's are equipped with) also suck.

    8. Way too few maps for Squad Deathmatch option, and the maps for the other gametypes are often large with not enough buildings/cover/good landscape for a battle. Why not just spawn us all in an open field?

    9. Extreme lack of good urban environment maps.

    10. This is one of the worst things about the game. Accuracy is ridiculously crappy when you aren't looking through your sights/optics. You can fire at a stationary guy 20 feet away and maybe get 3-6 out of 30 of your shots to actually hit him. If you need to be looking down your sights to get more than 1/10-1/5 accuracy from 20 feet away, then you probably shouldn't be anywhere near a battlefield. In real life if I was shooting from that distance, every one of the those shots would have met their target. Seeming as how most of the assault rifles used by assault class are chambered in 5.56mm, they should by little to no issue with recoil. The game's designers, however, thought that it best to give rifles chambered in 5.56mm the accuracy and recoil of an automatic shotgun being fired by a small child with Muscular Dystrophy.

    11. This one isn't as big of a deal to me, but there's no option to go prone.

It is not the first Battlefield game I played: I already played Battlefield 1942, Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142 - but it is the first Battlefield campaign I played and after completing CoD:MW trilogy not so much time ago I was really curious how the BF stands against its main rival in terms of single-player experience. To keep it short - it stands pretty well but it is not that simple. The story itself is lackluster in comparison to Modern Warfare (which is not surprising considering the scale CoD went for in the MW trilogy so there is no shame in being inferior to one of the best first-shooter campaigns ever) but in all the other aspects BC2 shines brighter: the graphics are more realistic, shot sounds are more pleasant to hear, the shooting overall just feels better - add to that vehicles you can actually get in and complete freedom to destroy anything you want (a house, a tower, a tree - you name it) and you get a decent rival for MW3 which was released around the same time.

Strictly from a story mode perspective, this game is a fairly average modern military fps. A stereotypical squad of hoo-ah hoo-ah bros begins to unravel a decades old secret weapon the Russians are trying to utilize for no discernable reason. Half of the game you will be fighting what appears to be a south american pmc for no reason at all? Near the end you'll also begin to feel the copy-pasted layouts of the housing interiors. Despite all that, there is one aspect I would be remise for not mentioning: the environmental destruction. I fully think that this is why the game was made. Destroying soft cover to melt enemies behind it, collapsing buildings with grenade launchers, this is all very satisfying. While I did not play the multiplayer on this playthrough (I will not subject myself to hours of painstaking matchmaking with horrible internet) I do fondly remember the dozens of hours I spent playing it when I was younger. Hardly a match went by that a whole building would remain standing. Truly an irreplaceable experience that had a scale and interactivity that is hardly matched these days. Expand

Compared to the third game, I found the story more successful. Another difference from the third game is that I was able to finish it.

Expand

  1. The new single-player mode isn’t that interesting, but the multi-player part is fantastic. With new destructable environments and new game modes Bad Company 2 is the best Battlefield game so far.
  2. Do you like first-person shooters? If the answer is yes, buy Battlefield: Bad Company 2. If there's a weakness it lies in the slightly brief single-player campaign, but the brilliant, potentially Modern Warfare 2 beating multiplayer more than picks up the slack.
  3. 91
Though it occasionally stumbles, there's one thing that Bad Company 2 clearly demonstrates: DICE has graduated from the, "can only do a multiplayer FPS" class, and is perfectly capable of making a great all-around game.
