Nov 8, 2013Campaign is pretty short but does offer some fun with the new weapons to unlock. Multi-player is vastly more fun than BF3 for me personally anyway I know alot of people will argue that this is just BF3 with new graphics and it pretty much is but there are alot of systems that have been refined.
Only downside is that mutiplayer is very buggy and this needs to be fixed. -

Nov 11, 2013I wanted to love this game, battlefield is like crack to me, still get my fix online, but single player needed alot more work. Dice should re evaluate for the future before passing off another single player that doesnt make the grade.. The game is better without it (but who buys battlefield for single player anyways...and we know why...)

Nov 12, 2013Would be an amazing game, if it actually work. Expect endless crashes, freezes, sound loops, bugs etc.
Buy at your own risk ATM, or wait until its patched. -
Nov 12, 2013A lot of issues with connection and crashes which keeps the game from receiving a full score.
It's a beautiful game with the correct "next gen" graphics that you would expect. -

Nov 14, 2013This isn't a FPS game! It's a true war simulator! Other than a few crashes and the dumb use browser instead of an in-game menu system, this game is out of the park!

Nov 16, 2013This is the year that BF beats out CoD. I played COd and I'm done and probably not going back again! The only complaint this year for BF is the game feels buggier than the BF3 launch and I'm still getting a lot of lag even on sub 20 ping servers. The Battlelog is even deeper than before and the maps are entertaining so far. 15 hours in and I'm enjoying the ride.

Nov 24, 2013As Chinese player, some of us have to use an monthly-paid internet connection booster to play the game. Otherwise the game will lose connection while in Loading Level stage.
Anyway, the game is great.
10 for performance
10 for gameplay
5 for network
5 for origin platform -

Nov 30, 2013It is a fun (though frustrating) game... when it doesn't freeze or crash. At the time of this writing I think I have about 15-20% of my games freezing or crashing. Though this is better than the ~50% at launch time, it's still inexcusable for a "finished" product.

Dec 1, 2013Improved gun-play over BF3 and slightly better visuals with well designed maps make this a nice buy. On the downside, you have to go online to play single player and the servers aren't very stable. The game also have frequent crashes which set back progress. This would be an 8 or 9 if these issues were not present.

Dec 2, 2013Ok so Battlefield 4 is great if you have friends who you can play with. If you don't have friends then it's not that great. Graphics are awesome and all that but the biggest problem is that when you want to play the game there is a 50% chance that EA servers are down or just some other problem. If it didn't have those problems I would rate it 8/10.

Dec 2, 2013Don't waste your money. The multi-player is horrible, and the campaign is worse. You'll be thrown into objective after objective, with no real teamwork going on, and you'll be left trying to do everything yourself. The people that really seem to enjoy this game are those that either buy the premium to get the weapons and upgrades, or the people that are die-hard DICE fans.

Dec 6, 2013Wonderful!
Very nice graphics, sound and gameplay!
Convenient control panel.
But why the need to kill the Russians again?
Maybe DICE will offer in the next part of the game to save the USA from attacking Canadians? And help them Russians and Chineses!?
That would be really interesting! -

Dec 6, 2013I have been a fan of the BF series for years.I was SO excited for this release. Wow what a disappointment. The game is so laggy that it is impossible to play. I am glad I picked up the game on Black Friday for half price. I wont be buying the DLCs anytime soon.

Dec 8, 2013God, I loved BF3, well balanced and designed maps for all game modes. Altought, BF4 is lacking some balance. In TDM mode, you spawn in front of an enemy sniper scope. The net code is horrible, we get killed with "one" shot. So many flaws that I can organize myself to type it in here.

Pelit (Finland)Mar 11, 2014Battlefield 4 could just as well be called Battlefield 3.5. The new Battlefield features are only marginal improvements over Battlefield 3, but even as such it leaves the competitors way behind. Hopefully the bugs will be squashed soon. [Nov 2013]

Jan 13, 2014Even if multiplayer wasn't buggy, Battlefield 4 would still only be a barely passable installment in all respects besides the snazzy graphics. EA and DICE played it safe by providing the same thing they did the last time around, with another phoned-in campaign and only minor alterations to the online.

Jan 3, 2014Battlefield 4 keeps soldiering on in the same footsteps as previous games in the series. The lack of worthwhile news makes you wish for more. Dice stays in its comfort zone calls for explosions and not much more. The series needs to evolve or fade out.
