    this game is full of bugs
    not only the worst war game I've ever played but the worst game I've ever played
    some missions are just impossible to complete because of the bugs in this game
    and they still haven't fixed them after all this time

    While this game might not have the best story out there it still has a nice one that will be enough to keep you invested in the game. Considering the fact that Battlefield 4 was released in 2013, this game has really beautiful graphics. Definitely one of the best Battlefield games.

    havent play multiplayer so cant speak about it, but i finished campain and it just ok. nothing special. gameplay and graphics is good, i like physics in this game, but plot is really bad, its unrealistic

    Decent but forgettable. Battlefield 4 felt like it hung right between the hayday of Call of Duty and the downward spiral of live service games that followed.

    I am one of those who like 4 more than 3 and i mean it in every way story and gameplay this one just feels more idk how to put i but easier to enjoy... maybe idk i feel like veterans of 3 are just unforgiving and on 4 you can enjoy more things.

    9 years after the games release I would say that it is one of the best fps games made. Still riddled with bugs and small issues, but the gunplay, teamwork and the amount of content is fantastic. At launch it was one of the biggest **** to ever be released. Nowadays it's filled with new player but with its fair share of tryhards too. In comparison to 2042 it's a heaven's grace. Give it a9 years after the games release I would say that it is one of the best fps games made.     After Battlefield 3, this game feels more like a DLC than a new entry. Not a bad game, but the bugs and dumb AI in sinle-player make it a painful experience.

    sometimes I play multiplayer, I can play for a couple of hours, the servers are still open, the company is also quite interesting, I don't seem to see cheaters, people play in the evening, the servers are full, the sounds of firing weapons are chic, actually better than some modern shooters, the graphics too very pleasant, the game is like fine wine, it better with age

    I hate the fact that in 2022 in Battlefield 4 I need to unlock every decent vehicle mode and weapons for literally MONTHS. Moreover I can't progress fast because players who got unlimited time have already unlocked everything, so I'm being killed way too fast to get any points to progress. For example, my stock tank has no chances with high-leveled players who got some freaking extraI hate the fact that in 2022 in Battlefield 4 I need to unlock every decent vehicle mode and weapons for literally MONTHS.     I like the story and the graphics are amazing.
    Playing BF 4 in the campaign is a funny experience, because it is immersive and you get the feeling to stand on the battleground yourself.

    Honestly one of the best fps shooters I have ever played. Unlike bf1, this game favors gun skill and not rng spread. The maps are great and offer less meat grindy gameplay. Only issue I have is the vehicle balancing on certain maps and the mediocre campaign.

    Solider Shooter mit einem Online Modus, der wirklich Spaß macht und technisch nach Startschwierigkeiten inzwischen gut funktioniert. Die Story ist jedoch sehr flach und bedient weitestgehend Stereotype, die auf Dauer langweilig werden. Das wuchtige Sounddesign und der schöne Soundtrack sind weitere Highlights (7/10).

    The game is plagued with bug its none stop, been playing the game since release and had to stop for a while as the game has never been fixed.

    DICE releasing a small amount of patch that are only making the game more unstable. don't get me start on the Hit Detection (IT DON'T WORK)

    Battlefield 4 is the ultimate online multiplayer FPS experience in my opinion, at least until Battlefield 2042 comes out. The online battles are oftentimes immensely intense, these taking place in large and well-designed maps for the most part. The weapons and gadgets are plentiful for each soldier class, allowing the player to use many different tactics during gameplay. The vehicles areBattlefield 4 is the ultimate online multiplayer FPS experience in my opinion, at least until Battlefield 2042 comes out. The online battles are oftentimes immensely intense, these taking place in large and well-designed maps for the most part. The weapons and gadgets are plentiful for each soldier class, allowing the player to use many different tactics during gameplay. The vehicles are really fun to use too, as they provide the player with a great amount of weaponry at disposal whether you want to engage in ground or aerial combat. Furthermore, the visuals are outstanding, even though this game is almost 8 years old at this point. The same praise goes to the realistic sound design as well.
    The singleplayer is mediocre, so if you're looking for a worthwhile story campaign, look elsewhere. However, Battlefield was never known for its singleplayer anyway.
    All in all, if you're looking for an unforgettable online FPS to delve in, then Battlefield 4 is one of the best choices you currently have.    … Expand

    This is my favorite Battlefield game so far. BF3 had some good maps which I miss now but overall the gameplay in BF4 is better. A lot of maps, good "time to kill" and I really loved the sadly removed commander mode.

    Great game. I know this battlefield in particular had quite a rough launch back in 2013 however, as a game in 2021, it is one of the best battlefield game I ever played. Campaign/Single-player is okay, the AI can be somewhat lackluster at times and some set pieces feel very scripted but it is playable! Where BF4 really shines is the multiplayer, absolutely perfect, given the fact theyGreat game. Where BF4 really shines is the multiplayer, absolutely perfect, given the fact they polished and patched up most of the games problems since launch over the years, the multiplayer is 100% replayable, and has satisfying unlocks, high tick-rate servers, a lot of customization, balancing-wise, I think it could have been done better but due to the presence of the very populated server browser alongside available good selected rulesets created by admins, it isn't much of a problem. But now it’s easy to say it goes down as one of the greatest Battlefield games ever made. There is so much replay ability behind this game, and it’s bugs are limited to some odd netcode and hitreg on occasion. But now it’s easy to say it goes down as one of the greatest Battlefield games ever made. There is so much replay ability behind this game, and it’s bugs are limited to some odd netcode and hitreg on occasion. Yeah it’s from a different era of FPS games, with the subsequent games BF1 and BFV having significantly better movement and shooting mechanics, but it still stands as an incredible title that absolutely deserves its fame for coming back into the hearts of many players. I will miss BF4 when 2042 comes out, but I will always come back to enjoy it again. 8/10. Campaign is relatively boring and Recker only says **** Multiplayer is the best there is from the previous generation of consoles. Lots of replay value and lots of fun.… Expand

    This is by far the worst battlefield ever, it's straight up a pure downgrade from the amazing game BF3 was.
    Bugs are all over the place, the shooting feels awful, the AI is one of the most scuffed I've ever seen, the vehicle control is non-existing and the physics are completely broken.

    It's honestly pretty impressive how well this game's multiplayer holds up. It pretty much feels like Battlefield 3 with more community driven content and more features overall. It's also the earliest Battlefield title to introduce high ping rate servers, which is great for competitive play. The player-base is also still very active, and there are tons of active near-full servers.

    I have some criticisms though. The biggest is that there's too much grinding involved in player progression. It takes an eternity to complete weapon level progression. I have played for over 50 hours and still haven't progressed a quarter way through any primary weapon. And in return the player receives a bunch of small weapon attachments and skins, which is great for fine-tuned customization but it's also a chore to organize / choose what's right for you. Matches also can take a very long time, sometimes lasting more than 30 minutes depending on the server's ticket rate.

    Even with some of these flaws, BF4 remains the quintessential modern military FPS. It had some troubles at launch and continues to have some annoyances like grinding, but has grown into a great game nonetheless.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Battlefield 4 benim için büyük bir hayal kırıklığı oldu. Oyunun tek oyunculu modu hatalarla dolu ve oldukça sıkıcı. Oyunun hikayesinden biraz bahsedeyim. Oyunda Recker isimli bir ABD'li donanma askerini kontrol ediyoruz. Oyun Recker ve ekibinin bulunduğu arabanın sular altında kalması ve ekip komutanı Dunn'ın Recker'a aracın camına sıkıp kendisi ile ekibin üyelerini kurtarması için emir vermesi ile başlar. Her ne kadar Recker bunu yapmak istemese ve yanındaki arkadaşı "Irish" de ona bunu yapmamasını söylese de Recker cama sıkar ve oyun bu anın 13 dakika gerisine döner. Bu 13 dakikada ekibin uzun çatışmalar sonrasında araba ile kaçarken düşman helikopterinin ateş açması sonucu aracın kontrolden çıktığını ve denize düştüğünü görürüz. Ardından ekip bir VIP'yi almak için Çin'e gizli operasyon için gönderilir. Çin'de Amiral Chang isimli asker yönetime el koymuştur ve halk isyan etmektedir. Tombstone ekibinin de almak için Çin'e gittiği VIP, Çin'in muhtemel lideri Jin Jié'dir. VIP'yi teslim aldıktan sonra geri dönüş yolunda Çin askerleri ile çatışan ekip, Irish'in isteği üzerine Çin'den kaçmak isteyen Çinlileri de alıp gemileri USS Valkyrie'ye dönmeye çalışır ve sonunda gemiye ulaşırlar. Ekip gemiye ulaştıktan sonra Yüzbaşı Garrison, USS Titan'ın saldırı altında olduğunu ve batmadan önce geminin içinde bulunan "DCC" isimli cihazı alıp getirmelerini söyler. Ekip Ajan Kovic komutasında batmakta olan USS Titan'a gider ve cihazı aldıktan sonra USS Valkyrie'ye geri dönerler. Fakat USS Valkyrie de Çin askerleri tarafından saldırıya uğrar ve saldırı püskürtülse de Kovic ölür. Kovic'in ölümünden sonra ekibin yeni komutanı Recker olur. Ekip Çin istihbaratı ve CIA için çalışan Hannah ile birlikte operasyonlar düzenler. Bir operasyonda ekip yakalanır ve Hannah Çinli oluşunu kullanarak Çin askerlerini ekibi kendisinin yakaladığına inandırır. Biraz işkence gördükten sonra Recker, içerisinde Battlefield 3'ten tanıdığımız Dima'nın da bulunduğu bir koğuşa yerleştirilir.     The lowest point of the entire battlefield franchise. Battlefield 5 and Hardline were dodgy, but boy, if you want to see some truly awful game design, load up battlefield 4.

    Genuinely one of the worst genuine attempts at a video game I've ever had the displeasure of sitting through, buy a better video game, it's not hard at all.

    Snipers, vehicles, shotguns, and explosives are a significant problem. Vehicles are a massive issue. One feels like you cannot play the game without dealing with vehicles which are unbalanced against infantry. It feels like it wants to be an infantry and a vehicle game at the same time. Yet cross domain combat is insidious at almost all times.

    Campaign is the wet dream of America just like that dream It is full of faults/bugs.
    I hope whoever named that character "Irish" dies a painful and slow death.

    And multiplayer is dead compare to battlefield 3.

    Бои стали масштабнее, краше, разрушаемость зданий. Появилась 3 сторона конфликта Китай.
    Но игра какая-то нестабильная. Количество сбоев и лагов в игре достаточно.

    I can't stand the servers. That's it. I hate the servers and i hate how the origin platform works. I'm sad because it's a good game, but i just can't stand the platform where it works.

    Great multiplayer with slight improvement over BF3, but the maps are worse.
    Campaign was meh. I would have liked if it had 3rd option in the ending - sacrificing Recker instead of Hannah or Irish. And AIs in campaign are absolute joke, they just shoot at walls.
    I hope they will make sequel fort his game because clearly there is a cliffhanger in the ending.

    After all those patches and fixed, Battlefield 4 is the best multiplayer-shooter of the decade. I'm stil playing it in 2020.

    I played the campaign and thought it was awesome. Its action packed, showcases most of the maps, and the graphics are amazing. The multiplayer is good from what I played a long time ago.

    This game had so much potential but devs decided to throw it out of the window, multiplayer hit detection is non existent, there were moments i was one meter away from enemy and they had been standing and my bullets still wouldnt register. Whole multiplayer is like this if you arent on 144hz server which is impossible to find. It would be a perfect game if it had good netcode.

    The game has some shortcomings, but overall if you play it with friends you can have a reasonably fun time. Though, it basically just feels like you're playing a BF3 expansion.

    I was very conflicted on whether to give the game a 5 or a 7 due my bias in favor of the game. Yes it's a carbon copy of BF3, yes it added more issues than solved them. and yes it was a disappointment until DICE LA saved it.     Game is full of bugs. The interface is horrible. But the gameplay is fine. I like it still. EA/Dice are evil companies but this game is still fine. Although they have been working hard to make it crap. The game still plays well. I like playing it still. But other Battlefield oh... they totally ruined it. This is what remained of good.

    Tried this game with free month of origin acces i got and feel very happy i didnt trow mony on this.Tried 5-6 rounds of multiplayer and every single time got kicked out of server after 20 seconds of game,it is completly unplayable.Story is also meh nothing special.

    it was fun. there were some peoples left and i could play multiplayers fast to. the story was good too. and there were tanks, helicopter, boats and cars so it feeled awesome

    Battlefield 4 could just as well be called Battlefield 3.5. The new Battlefield features are only marginal improvements over Battlefield 3, but even as such it leaves the competitors way behind. Hopefully the bugs will be squashed soon. [Nov 2013]

    Even if multiplayer wasn't buggy, Battlefield 4 would still only be a barely passable installment in all respects besides the snazzy graphics. EA and DICE played it safe by providing the same thing they did the last time around, with another phoned-in campaign and only minor alterations to the online.

    Battlefield 4 keeps soldiering on in the same footsteps as previous games in the series. The lack of worthwhile news makes you wish for more. Dice stays in its comfort zone calls for explosions and not much more. The series needs to evolve or fade out.
