Nov 18, 2021The game is plagued with bug its none stop, been playing the game since release and had to stop for a while as the game has never been fixed.
DICE releasing a small amount of patch that are only making the game more unstable. don't get me start on the Hit Detection (IT DON'T WORK) -

Nov 15, 2013Once again, EA falters with servers that are barely working and a title that is riddled with bugs. When Battlefield 4 works, it's pure heaven. You can't fault it, but this is a broken game. It needs patching, and for that EA and DiCE won't get my thumbs up.

Nov 18, 2013An expensive, unstable and not very expansive expansion pack to battlefield 3. I expected better from DICE, and at least would like to be able to play the game without it constantly crashing to my desktop with "battlefield 4 has stopped working", First Rome 2, now this? What the hell is up with the games industry at the moment. churning out rushed messes.

Jun 26, 2020The game has some shortcomings, but overall if you play it with friends you can have a reasonably fun time. Though, it basically just feels like you're playing a BF3 expansion.

Nov 11, 2013bad servers game crashes over powered engineer guns only one good game every ten if you're lucky and the campaign is a massive downgrade, short and really glitchy hopefully their next game will be better

Nov 1, 2013Rushed to launch before the next Call of Duty, as EA always does, Battlefield 4 returns with even more DLC schemes and console ports, ready to take your money and charge you every step of the way.
It's quite literally Battlefield 2 for the mindless modern gamer. -

Nov 6, 2013No better than BF3, which puts it far behind bf2 and bf1942. I think the franchise has pretty much ended with this one. Regurgitated, average, seen-it-all-before pap. Good to see the majority of paid reviewers have sold their souls once again.

Pelit (Finland)Mar 11, 2014Battlefield 4 could just as well be called Battlefield 3.5. The new Battlefield features are only marginal improvements over Battlefield 3, but even as such it leaves the competitors way behind. Hopefully the bugs will be squashed soon. [Nov 2013]

Jan 13, 2014Even if multiplayer wasn't buggy, Battlefield 4 would still only be a barely passable installment in all respects besides the snazzy graphics. EA and DICE played it safe by providing the same thing they did the last time around, with another phoned-in campaign and only minor alterations to the online.

Jan 3, 2014Battlefield 4 keeps soldiering on in the same footsteps as previous games in the series. The lack of worthwhile news makes you wish for more. Dice stays in its comfort zone calls for explosions and not much more. The series needs to evolve or fade out.
