Do NOT listen to any review rating this game below 7. They are NOT honest. They will rate it low because they are upset with either their inability to play the game well, or because they had problems with it upon launch.
Had to register just to review it a 10 to outweigh these trolls somewhat.

Aside from some issues with the operation of the server browser the game gets everything right. The sound design is incredible, maps are beautiful to look at and exquisitely balanced, shooting feels spot on and the class system provides enough depth and strategy to keep you playing for a very long time.

This is a solid game from single player to co-op to multiplayer. The single player is just another fps single player. There is nothing special about it but fun to play. Co-op is a little different and more fun. The multiplayer is where BF3 shines.

Multiplayer mode is awesome. Even if at launch I was concerned about clustered flags issue, now I can say this is not a problem. Weapon damage and hitreg (even on high ping servers) is perfect. Sounds are brilliant. Visuals... Oh, the visuals deserves its own big review, looks amazing and vivid. Jets and helis not underpowered, but requires skill to operate. Yes, some bugs and glitches still exists, but I hope that future patches will correct them.

Definitely, BF3 is worth its money. SP 8/10, MP 10/10. Because singleplayer is just sweet addition to Battlefield, my final score for it - 10.

Battlefield 3 is what it should be. A real shooter game with heavy realistic graphics and great multiplayer. The single player is beautifully done and the entire system is perfect. If they take out the EA spyware, this would be a perfect game. With the PC's excellent graphics, this game should please fans and newbies of Battlefield and Call of Duty fans alike too!

...and if BFBC2 was a great game as a online first person shooter game for multiplaying on the PC platform. the BF3 is much more than a improvement to the previous work. and i bet you people who dislike this game are more console geeks than hardcore PC GAMERs. shout out to dice who surrendered us from playin CoD (basically cod4) which i was really boring to play more.

After getting use to the PC controls and the maps and everything this game is AMAZING! Glad i pre-ordered it. Gonna be taking up a lot of my down time.

The most successful of the game SAYS: excellent technical sector, as the sound. Excellent gameplay and 64 provide a wide players fun. Only the short single player can affect the final evaluation of the game, which would be better to just evaluating the multiplayer. But we are talking about Battlefield, a game that is based on the experience online. FANTASTIC!

It is hard to put to words how amazingly, astonoshingly awesome this game is, all i can say is: GREAT job Dice/EA, this IS superior to all other FPS-games. Buying COD instead of BF3 this season is the dumbest thing you can do.

People will criticize the single player (I can't speak to that, as I haven't wasted my time on anything but multiplayer), however I can definitely say this: The graphics, audio, and gameplay mechanics are so nicely done and work in concert perfectly to create an immersion that most single player campaigns struggle to replicate. While the single player campaign was drab and very much there only to appease the CoD crowd, the heart of Battlefield is alive and kicking! TheWhile the single player campaign was drab and very much there only to appease the CoD crowd, the heart of Battlefield is alive and kicking! Multiplayer is beautiful and engaging with jets flying overhead and tanks rumbling past fighting over capture points and M-Coms. The unlock system is familiar and enticing always pushing you to play one more match to get that next weapon or add-on. The shooting mechanics are truly amazing realistic weapon handling and bullet physics make every engagement truly feel dangerous and rarely does a death feel cheap. Tanks handle like a dream heavy and cumbersome but with the ability to trade handling for speed at the press of a button it makes some pretty tactical options open up, stay and fight or pop a smoke screen and reverse full speed. Helicopters are perfect, subtle movements lead to victory but playing like it's an arcade game with see you nose diving into the earth. Jets are finicky but perform well, as of writing this they are pretty hard to get kills with early on and my only advice is try it out and if you aren't too hot stick with it it has a serious learning curve.

Overall Battlefield 3 is an amazing game that SHOULD NOT BE MISSED if you're a shooter fan! Call of Duty fan boys will bash it and in all honesty as a CoD player myself (not a big fan, just a player) they shouldn't! Both games will be good (in there own ways) but for the ultimate skill based (not twitch based) gameplay experience you owe it to yourself to pick up BF3 and have a awesome time online!

    Sound: 9.5/10
    - Its awesome! Nothing like hearing the sounds of bullets whizzing by your head, deafening explosions that sounds like it would really knock you down. DICE has out done themselves again.

    Gameplay (Single Player): 7/10
    - The single player campaign, in particular the story is a bit out of place. If you are buying the game just to play the single player, look elsewhere.

    Game play (Multi Player): 10/10
    - It amazing, this is the very reason why you would want to buy Battlefield 3 in the first place.

    Game play (Co Op): 8.5/10
    - Its fun, but the fact that you only get 6 ~5-10 min long missions, its more of a diversion rather than the meat of the package.

    Online Services: 8/10
    - BF3's online services is detailed and has amazing depth. The only issue I've had with it was trying to get into games with friends as parties...

    Replay Value: 10/10
    - Give the history of the Battlefield series, we can expect tons of top quality mods to be coming out within the next year or so, this in addition to the amazing mappers out there should definitely extend the shelf life of BF3

I had high hopes for BF3 ever since i saw the sneak peak trailer, and after playing the game several hours a day everyday since it came out, I can honestly say it delivered, and delivered more than I hoped for. The classes are balanced, weapons feel great, vehicles are fun and not overpowered, and the graphics are simply stunning. The classes are balanced, weapons feel great, vehicles are fun and not overpowered, and the graphics are simply stunning. If you do not have a top end system to play this game then you are doing yourself an injustice, it's just so absolutely gorgeous on max setting. I've always been a loyal CoD fan, I've reached max prestige on both MW2 and BLOPS, but I am pretty sure I won't be getting MW3 because it doesn't seem to contain anything new and exciting compared to the previous 2 games.
Now let's move to the "cons", first there is Origin, something everyone seems to absolutely hate, i didn't like it at first either but after being forced to use it for a while I am starting to get a hang of it and found it to be not bad at all, once they fix all the bugs with it, it just might be a decent program. Then there is the single player, DICE tried pretty hard to make the single player more modernwarfare'ish, but didn't quite reach their goal. I don't think it's bad by any means but i doubt I'll finish it unless my internet goes out or something. People reviewing this game based on single player's quality is just silly. 99.99% of the time spent in this game will be spent in multiplayer, no one expected DICE to deliver a decent single player experience and I think they did ok with BF3. Multiplayer is what battlefield is about, and your reviews should reflect that.
Overall if you want the best multiplayer experience, then this is THE game to get, just make sure you get it on the PC :)

It's all a matter of taste, after all. They each provide a certain type of entertainment – when talking about Battlefield 3, it involves a bigger game, more open in its possibilities and more spectacular. But on a longer timeline, less frantic and with fewer Bruce Willis scenes than the mass appeal beast it set itself to dethrone.
