The best feature of the entire experience is the skirmish mode and the way it allows players to customize the coming battle to their expectations.

It's really accessible, and that's a good thing, but for strategy veterans it won't go deep enough on the strategic and management aspects.

The fully rotatable and scale-able 3D map is a big selling point of the game, but is not the most efficient way to interact with the units. Units are sometimes hard to see/select in the 3D view, as are destination square. The less flashy, top down view is much more useful.

Secondly minor annoyance is that it's easier than it should be to inadvertently select an action while trying to select another unit. Again, the top-down view helps solve this.

Finally, the line-of-sight (LOS) is not always intuitive, not to me anyway. I constantly wish for a LOS tool that will display LOS for any selected square, not just the LOS for a selected unit.

In all, a highly recommended game with very addictive game play. If this is your genre, BA2 is worth the crazy price tag.
