Nov 22, 2017Unfortunately, the story, at least in Fractured Mask, is, at times, very verbose and unmanaged.
-
Nov 20, 2017Rebounding from a weak second episode, Batman: The Enemy Within’s third episode restores my hopes that this season will turn out well. Major developments around Batman’s big secret and strong interactions with Harley Quinn, Selina Kyle, and John make Fractured Mask work, right up until the extremely abrupt ending.
-
Dec 4, 2017Telltale struggles to get it right with the Dark Night and make the game he deserves. A very disappointing episode that asks –again– for a change in the formula.
-
Nov 20, 2017We’ve learned what the rogues are after, but at the halfway point in the series, we still don’t know why. With only two episodes left, Telltale needs to raise the stakes and ramp up the urgency of Batman’s mission.
-
Nov 25, 2017Episode 3 of Batman: The Enemy Within adequately follows through with some earlier plot points, but it doesn't do much else.
-
Nov 20, 2017Batman’s third episode from season two does enough to keep the overall story ticking over, but a crowded narrative and confusing relationships mean this is the low point so far. Episode four will have to do much better.
-
Nov 20, 2017Although there is some excellent work put in by Catwoman and John Doe, Fractured Mask is ultimately just a series of "Choose A or B" conversations, taking place in overly-familiar locales, with stakes not quite as high as the game would have you believe.
