Oct 2, 2017Batman: The Enemy Within is Telltale at their best, and The Pact simply continues to prove why.
-
Oct 16, 2017If you love the Bat… you really do need to get yourself the Season Pass and jump into the Enemy Within… great story telling and some really moving moments.
-
Oct 2, 2017Episode 2: The Pact far exceeded my expectations.
-
Oct 2, 2017Batman: The Enemy Within - Episode 2 'The Pact' is yet another fantastic episode in this series. It was going to be hard to top the greatness of season one, but if these first two episodes are any indication, we might be in for one of Telltale's best yet. The action, drama, characters, and story are all firing on all cylinders and fans of Batman owe it to themselves to check this series out.
-
Oct 31, 2017Telltale did a great job transforming the main hero. As the result, the second episode of the season is practically the best thing that happened to Batman: The Telltale Series.
-
Oct 2, 2017It's difficult to get excited about Telltale Games at the moment, but this has me hooked and I can't wait for the next episode.
-
Oct 2, 2017It may be shorter, but The Pact is an exciting session almost entirely devoted to Bruce Wayne chatting with some of the best Batman villains around and trying to get on their good side. If this were a TV show I’d be in rapt attention.
-
Oct 2, 2017Batman: The Enemy Within Episode Two builds on a strong opening to the season. It raises the stakes for Bruce Wayne by throwing him into a shark tank and asking him to turn bloodthirsty enemies into friends. Along with an empowered Harley Quinn and the unnerving powder-keg that is John Doe, the second episode provides drama and excitement in equal measure.
-
Oct 2, 2017Though the story and characters are more compelling in The Pact, it also sacrificed interactivity.
-
Oct 2, 2017Episode 2 – The Pact moves the series’ story forward nicely, confronting players with interesting, serious moral dilemmas. Well-rounded, complex characters continue to be added to the mix, providing the potential for an excellent narrative conclusion.
-
Oct 25, 2017The Pact is not a bad episode, but it does not shine with regard to dynamism, rhythm and quality of action scenes.
-
Oct 2, 2017I’m just not sure if Telltale has the chops to pull every story development and important character (Tiffany Fox is still largely ignored in this episode too, by the way) and tie them together neatly and coherently.
-
Oct 29, 2017In The Pact, it's time to learn something more about the good and the bad guys we are going to deal with for the rest of the series, but the episode feels very slow-paced and forgets about half of the gameplay mechanics we saw in Episode 1.
-
Oct 6, 2017Telltale's minimalist gameplay is exaggerated further in Batman: The Enemy Within - Episode 2: The Pact, to its benefit, but the plot seems to have been fumbled in the process.
-
Oct 2, 2017The Pact is a fair episode, with some familiar faces and a couple of great scenes. But due to its odd plotting, overbooked roster, and distracting technical flaws, it didn't suck me in like the previous chapter did. Still, outside of the horrible lock-up issues, it was an acceptable way to while away two hours. I'm intrigued to see where the story goes next.
-
Oct 11, 2017Telltale has struggled to tell an interesting story with this episode. A very slow-paced chapter where only the new villains shine.
-
Oct 7, 2017The great Harley Quinn design is not enough for this episode that remind us the mediocre first season.
-
Oct 4, 2017After a high-stakes opening salvo, Batman: The Enemy Within episode 2 feels more like a retaliating sling of an arrow. With the exception of an intriguing interpretation of this episode’s focal antagonist, Telltale Games misfires on many facets of narrative and gameplay design.
-
Oct 4, 2017But where Telltale’s best adventures make you feel like your choices matter, ‘The Pact’ fails miserably in that department.
