This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Harley Quinn's Revenge takes place during an unspecified time frame from the death of the Joker. Batman never is the same since Talia's death, and the death of the Joker. As a result, you get a sense he finds it to be his responsibility to bring Harley Quinn to justice, even though she has a hot vendetta against Batman. The high point of this campaign is playing as Robin through most of it, in a quest to rescue Batman from being captured. If you never purchased the DLC for Robin to play on the challenge maps, you are getting a real treat with the speed of Robin during combat, and his unique abilities. Everything felt like the Batman universe, however my excitement was cut short by the actual length of the campaign. If you play it straight through, it's about an hour to an hour and a half depending on how you play the game. It was pretty cut and dry, and there isn't an option for free roaming afterward. The only challenge (i.e. anything comparable to the Riddler challenges) are destroying these "Harley Quinn" balloons (similar to the Joker balloons if you did the Riddler challenge.) There isn't as much free roam, and it is pretty linear compared to the normal Arkham City campaign. Honestly I expected this, as it was only $10, but it was worth it for that extra taste of Batman story that I have been craving in anticipation for the next game. Expand

It's definitely a strong "fix", reminiscent of the single-player joy that we experienced throughout Arkham City, but Harley Quinn does not include some fascinating set piece or an essential scene that will ascend the general experience. [August 2012]

The story of Harley Quinn's vengeance adds nothing to everything that's been said in done in Arkham City. If you're having a greed attack over the $10 price tag of this DLC, well… just ignore it.
