    Juegazo, como lo ha sido uno y cada uno de los juegos de esta saga que, para mí, es una de las mejores trilogías de los últimos años. Yo lo he jugado después del Batman Arkham City y el Batman Arkham Origins respectivamente, por lo que me ha chocado un poco la "pobre" jugabilidad que tiene respecto a las demás entregas en todas las facetas: en el combate, en el sigilo, en la variedad deJuegazo, como lo ha sido uno y cada uno de los juegos de esta saga que, para mí, es una de las mejores trilogías de los últimos años. Yo lo he jugado después del Batman Arkham City y el Batman Arkham Origins respectivamente, por lo que me ha chocado un poco la "pobre" jugabilidad que tiene respecto a las demás entregas en todas las facetas: en el combate, en el sigilo, en la variedad de "juguetes", etc...aún así para los nuevos que se inicien en la saga con esta primera entrega fliparéis jugándolo. Incluso para los que han jugado ya algún título posterior de la saga es totalmente recomendable, porque la historia principal sigue siendo BRUTAL, es como leerte un CÓMIC VIRTUAL. Da igual que seas fan o no del hombre-murciélago que disfrutaréis igualmente de su excelente guión, incluso los que no sois fans podéis convertiros en uno después de jugar a este título o algún otro de la saga (lo digo desde la experiencia XD).

    This game was incredible in 2009. The graphics are cool. Atmosphere of the DC universe is great and perfect. A lot of collectibles that help us to understand lore. To be honest, I am not a big fan of Batman and DC, but it was a great pleasure for me to play this game. We got something interesting mechanics and a perfect beat`em`up system.
    So why is it not 10? Because we got some boring    This game was incredible in 2009. The graphics are cool. Atmosphere of the DC universe is great and perfect.     What can I say ? Almost masterpiece :) Great in every aspect with one small annoying thing on the end - Joker Strong Man fight :) for charakter like Joker its a stupid idea to make him like this...

    The start of a beautiful game franchise. Slightly marred by the release of Arkham Knight on pc but we wont talk about that. This game is very well put together with each part of the map having a reason for being there. One of the benefits of it being a relatively small map.

    Invented a genre basically with its combat system, great atmosphere. After Nolan's films Batman deserved a great gaming franchise and this started it.

    Amazing story, great boss fights, controls are really easy to use and allow you to pull of some really fun and satisfying puzzles. The storyline is also really good, and each fight can be approached in many different ways. The only problem I have with this game are the Riddler trophies, which can be a pain to collect, especially when you have already completed the main story.

    Wonderful game, even for someone like me who isn't big fan of Batman, or even comics overall. The gameplay is interesting (play on gamepad), map is small-ish and restricted but it's enough for the premise of the game. I was absolutely blown by the voice-over and style of the Joker.

    The creepy and horrific Atmosphere and Level Design reinforce the Immersion. The Combat System is very fun and diversified. Every Boss Fight requires a specific and unique strategy to win.     this game is one of the best superhero games ever made and out of every single Batman Arkham game this one has the best Atmosphere and despite coming out in 2009 it has aged incredibly well

    it crashed twice but i turned off V-Sync and it never crashed again

    Batman Arkham Asylum is the best Batman game reboot after many failed games. Its an absolutely amazing game. You truly feel like the vigilante Batman and his caped crusade against the criminal of Gotham. The villain line up is amazing. The game is semi open world but it is dark and grim, like how you would expect an asylum filled with all the greatest criminals to be. The game is amazing in almost everyway, from Story and Characters, to Gameplay Mechanics.     A very good game, I love canon Batman, showed in this game. Best in the series! I'm played City and Origins, but this is best! Only in the end of the game: battle with Titan Joker is little cringe, but what ever. Play one more time next year!

The game has many mini-players to enjoy, includingtoo many 10's for my taste. a 10 is a perfect game that hits all the buttons, and while Batman: Arkham Asylum is a really great game, it does have its downsides. The game has many mini-players to enjoy, including puzzle challenges and extra fighting content, among other things. Now for my little criticisms and why the game doesn't deserve a 10. First, using the detective skill is a bit demeaning. They're not mysteries, more like following this here, taking a picture, moving on, Batman thinks about the rest. My second qualm is the x-ray-like vision you get. This is the most exploitative and useful equipment in the game. I love and hate. It makes these beautiful drops very easy and I am always aware of the presence of everyone else in a room. This really diminishes with the effectiveness of the challenge. Most people would say "Wlel just don't use", but it's there. I don't agree with the assessment on the voice acting as Batman's cold commentary and the big liners made by the Joker and Harley were entertaining. Also, I must defend this game from the idea of ​​non-multiplayer. What do you want, Joker fighting Batman in 1v1? Team play? A multiplayer for this game wouldn't have been more than a cheesy gimmick. My only other qualms were that the plot was a bit short. However, this isn't the game's fallback, it's more the player experience. People new to games or who like to enjoy this time can easily rack up 6-12 hours of gameplay, while the traditional and experienced gamer can probably browse the game in a 4-5 hour session.     My favorite superhero game. Batman A A has become a model for third-person superhero games, and this is evident in the latest Spidermans from Insomniac Games. Arkham Asylum has an amazing atmosphere, music, clever storyline and flowly combat system. Riddler puzzles and the environment, which requires frequent use of gadgets, are also noteworthy. My favorite game in the Arkham trilogy.

    After running out of games to play without being bored stiff, I decided to give this a whirl with the demo. I instantly loved it. The freeflow combat was clever and (usually) worked well, the stealth scenes were extremely fun and, even though I'm not a Batman fan, the story was great. While the stealth was fun, you feel you don't want to do it again because it would be too samey, but challenge mode is just redoing all the major stealth and combat scenes and I found it quite tedious. In summary, gameplay is great, graphics are good, storyline is OK due to its length. But for £30, I'm not sure if it was such a great idea to buy.… Expand

    A great gaming experince with full of exciting details, Batman Arkham Asylum has become a true classic. Not only for Batman fans, the game offers one of the best stealth-action experience, and the best fighting system ever made. In-game puzzles are excellent, especially the Riddler's ones! The only bad side is nVidia & PhysX engine. It causes serious slowdowns on ATI systems.

    Now I know how Batman does it... Great game. But when you beat it, it gets all boring... I recommend it for Batman fans. Voice acting was good as always. Kevin Conroy + Mark Hamill = Win.

    Arkham Asylum is a decent game, but so clearly a console port that its scores are overrated on PC. The porting is most obvious in the boss fights, when Mr. B. just doesn't do what you want him to do, standing/walking etc. when he is supposed to jump away.

    On a whole this game is excellent. It gets you into the story and keeps you there until the game ends. I loved the controls even though I used an Xbox 360 controller on my PC. I would recommend this highly to anyone who wants a good single player action game.

The character models on this game are sick--such intricate detail. Although there aren't too many fighting moves, the game play is still fun plus the gadgets and stealth kills make up for it. Even non Batman fans will have no problem enjoying thisPOW! BAM! Batman never looked so good! Cool gadgets, a great variety of bad guys, and a diverse story line keep this game enjoyable throughout. The penultimate battle was the most fun I've had in gaming for a long time. The couple of criticisms that I have are that the final battle is disappointing as you don't get to go one on one with the ememy.     Very solid. Extremely high production values and lots of fun. The stealth bits in particular are fantastic. I didn't particularly like the hand to hand combat - it looks good, but all you have to do is click the mouse button repeatedly and you win. Not much skill required.     I'm not usually a big Batman fan, and the combat seemed a little simple at first. But I ended up really liking this game. The graphics are fantastic. The combat ends up being great, complex and challenging. I usually hate stealth games but really liked this one.

You can do almost everything - you will experience Batman's perfect martial skills, use his arsenal of gadgets, jump through obstacles, cliffs and rails, you will glide over the Arkham island, you have the 'detective mode' as seen in the "The Dark Knight' movie. ByPlaying this game is a huge success, if you ever wanted to act like the Dark Knight and wondered how it's gonna feel. By progressing the game and picking up various items you also learn a lot about the Batman universe, about its characters, villains, Batman's background and tons of other data. I would think of this game as an encyclopedia of the whole Batman universe, with the addition you can deal with the bad guys yourselves, including Joker, Poison Ivy, Bane and many others. However, what I did not enjoy about the game was the combat system. To be more specific, I do not consider myself a hardcore player and the electric rod and knives guys really drove me insane, mostly during the final battle. I just needed more training I guess. But despite of this, Batman: AA is a huge success in converting the Dark Knight into a very enjoyable and interactive experience.… Expand

    This was as good as a Batman movie. Many say no actor can rival Ledger in the role of the Joker and I agreed with them, but after seeing Joker in Arkham asylum it forced me to reconsider. The characters are captivating and have benefited from 50 or so years of festering in the Batman universe. I am far from being a Batman fan but this is simply a great game in too many ways to ignore.This was as good as a Batman movie. The stealth sequences where you have to take down armed thugs strategically especially impressed me. The game was however quite short (10 hours), there is DRM in the form of Windows Live, and progressing through the game's "puzzles" (i.e. rooms) is too easy.     The story was good but the game was too long and repetitive, you kept fighting the same foes over and over again, with the exception of the boss fights who were very diversified and well thought, you were just fighting the same guy a million time, some had guns, but that's about it.     But what keeps me from giving this game a 10 is the static camera in some parts, I'm ok with Scarecrow levels having static camera (you can't turn with mouse) I think it should be that way, fits well the challenge, however, Ivy and Joker-on-steroids fight could have used the free camera, doesn't feel the same when you not playing with a    My only complaint is that the game was too short!

    This is a great game with good graphics and a good story line. The combat is fluid and fun but occasionally will got unresponsive. At first the voice acting is stiff and really is off the mark. This improves during the game and the uniqueness of the challenges make up for the false start.

An excellently atmospheric Assassin's Creed-esque adventure game held back by cookie cutter play-by-the-numbers recycled boss fights and a predictable game structure. Its a real shame that the bosses are so phoned in because its the only thing keeping this game from being excellent.     I will have to agree that this game is amazing, both from graphical and gameplay standards. Instead of praising it like most reviews do, I will instead focus on some problems I had with it:
    I've tried to play this game on the ps2 controller I've plugged into my pc and I've had so many troubles with it that I've started playing on the keyboard instead (basicly most actions wouldn't work    I will have to agree that this game is amazing, both from graphical and gameplay standards. BAA is atmospheric and engrossing, and the gameplay is varied and well designed, with a good mixture of problem solving and combat.     What made this game so addictive to me was the stealth portions, where I was required to dispatch the bad guys silently. But unfortunately, I couldn’t use this approach every time. But if you have the time and patience for it...
    The BAA Story, despite being well written, isn’t the most creative for a video game.

Es un juegazo, los combates, la acción y el doblaje hacen de este juego uno de mis favoritos, una joya, lo recomiendo totalmente, imprescindible. Sin lugar a dudas junto al City y al Origins estamos ante para mi una de las mejores sagas de esta generación.

    Ok... Este juego me sorprendió... No para bien si me lo preguntan. Simplemente no llego a ver el GOTY que todos dicen... Empecemos.

    Para empezar el juego se divide en 3 secciones que usaras constantemente, el combate, el sigilo, y el modo detective. El combate es extremadamente simple, intenso, fluido y algo relajante. Es un combate para raza de los casuales, de eso no ahí duda. Por lo    Ok... Este juego me sorprendió... No para bien si me lo preguntan. Simplemente no llego a ver el GOTY que todos dicen... Empecemos.

    Para empezar el juego se divide en 3 secciones que usaras constantemente, el combate, el sigilo, y el modo detective. El combate es extremadamente simple, intenso, fluido y algo relajante. Es un combate para raza de los casuales, de eso no ahí duda. Por lo que aun que seas un niño pequeño podrás entrar a este combate. Sin embargo tiene sus defectos, aveces los enemigos te darán golpes aunque sus golpes ni te rocen. Y las paredes son un problema, si te chocas con una pared en el combate, Batman se alterara y no dará golpes donde tu le indiques. Aun así al final es bueno. Sigue el sigilo, es simple y satisfactorio, solo tienes que caminar a espaldas de los enemigos y listo, también puedes usar gárgolas para ir por el techo, usar los juguetes de Batman para distraer o noquear, etc. Pero tiene un problema, solo funciona con enemigos que tengan armas de fuego, por lo que si entras a una sala con 20 personas sin armas no podrás usarlo, te verán de una forma in-humana, como Superman. El modo detective es detectar 1 prueba en una sala, ya esta, no tiene mas utilidad y casi podría ser un cinemática, pero se agradece que nos den el control en estas zonas. Otro problema es la historia, es extremadamente simple, y desaprovechada. Solo ves algunos de los muchos villanos de Batman, y solo peleas con 2 de ellos. Y las batallas de jefe son terribles, son enemigos grandotes con un patrón de ataque igual uno del otro. ahí unas 5 en todo el juego, y no cuento las del Espanta Pajaros por que es mas un escape que una pelea. Huyes hasta encontrar una luz y listo, siempre. El Cocodrilo Asesino tampoco cuenta por que es igual, escapar. Las que no son escape son simples y aburridas, Hiedra Venenosa y el Joker son las únicas diferentes, y de echo son peores que las de Bane y sus clones... Y hablando de el Joker... Es increíble, el actor de voz hace un trabajo increíble, y tiene muy buenos diálogos, aunque no me convence del todo... Aun así esta muy bien, y el juego esta en español, esta traducido con voces de actores y son muy buenas. Y las mejoras... Son muy útiles, cada una mejora a Batman, en especial las de combate. Yo pensaba que serían malas o cambiarían demasiado el combate que ya estaba, pero cuando entre a los retos del juego me costaba mucho, pero cuando decidí desbloquearlos y sutilmente todas las peleas se volvieron fáciles, las habilidades son útiles, hasta la ultima. El diseño de niveles esta... Mediocre. Algunas zonas de el asilo se sienten reales, y otras no tienen sentido, es muy raro. Pero el asilo esta lleno de coleccionables, todos son interesantes, tienes grabaciones de varios villanos de Batman, múltiples dibujos con historia y datos de varios personajes, este juego tiene calidad y contenido. Pero no me duro mucho... Yo suelo re-jugar un juego hasta obtener todos los logros y apenas me duro unas 40 horas para pasármelo con sus logros, mientras que otros juegos me duran el doble. Un hack and slash me dura mas. Y eso que son lineales a mas no poder. Seguro para ti es entretenimiento de sobra, así que al final... El increíble combate, el sigilo simple y divertido, el contenido extra a montones y varios desafíos que completar... Pero sale la patética historia, los problemas no refinados de el combate y sigilo, los mal aprovechados villanos con sus malas peleas de jefe, y un mapa algo complicado al mostrar objetivo... Al final no veo el GOTY, no lo veo, pero aun así es un buen juego que por 19.99 es entretenimiento de sobra, en especial por descuento como yo lo conseguí. Por su precio de 19.99 le doy un 08/10, es un buen juego que si consigues en promoción te hará feliz.    … Expand

    It's a great game, the ambietation is good, the controls work fine and the challenges work well. The only problem is the really short camapign, but it's preatty fun. Ah, and have I mentioned the giant muscular Joker? Like... what the **** EIDOS? Joker is all about brains, not about sheer force and power.

    On a whole this game is excellent. It gets you into the story and keeps you there until the game ends. I loved the controls even though I used an Xbox 360 controller on my PC. I would recommend this highly to anyone who wants a good single player action game.

    It's hard to give a review for Arkham Asylum because Arkham City is far superior in every possible way. At the time this came out, it was about 8/10 and worth paying full price. In 2017, I would say you should buy this game if it's on sale for $10 or less.

    You never felt like Batman more than in this game. You can feel the fear of your enemies and you can investigate like the best detective ever thanks to your wits and advanced tech. The atmosphere of the deserted asylum in this semi-open world is really well executed.

    But this is the combat system that gave this game so much appreciation and I have to admit that it is well deserved. The combat is fluid and satisfying.
    This game is just a warm-up for the next games where the world really opens for the player, but I have to admit that this one has the best atmosphere out of all three games thanks to its closed structure.    … Expand

    + Though older now, Arkham Asylum still looks great (Unreal 3). And, being older, it’s fairly easy to crank up the fancy settings.
    + Great voice-acting. Many major characters from Batman: The Animated Series are here, headlined by Hamill and Conroy, and includes Arleen Sorkin’s only appearance in the Batman games as Harley Quinn (Sorkin was replaced by Tara Strong for Arkham City and later installments).
    + Great soundtrack. Not as heroic as Arkham City’s, but darker and more moody.
    + Great atmosphere. Reeks of macabre gloom.
    + A large gallery of rogues in spite of being the smallest Arkham game (Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, Bane, Joker, Zsasz and others).
    + The first iteration of the rhythmic Arkham combat is very satisfying, though with fewer gadgets and special moves compared to later games.
    + Packed with trivia and collectibles. Be sure to randomly scan with X-ray vision every now and then; you never know what you might discover. Refreshing to have some that are NOT Riddler-related.

    +/- Decent story. Once the Joker takes over, the momentum doesn’t slow until the end of the game. A few things might not make sense if you think about them too much, though.
    +/- Many narrow corridors make some levels feel very restricted.
    +/- Can be confusing to navigate. Sometimes you’re supposed to turn around and backtrack, but nothing tells you to do so.
    +/- Challenge maps are indeed challenging, but there aren’t as many as in later games. Still great for practicing the combat.

    - Backtracking. There is a lot of it. Clear an area, proceed on, get a new gadget, go back and – whoops, there are new thugs in the room, time to clear it again.
    - In what becomes a recurring theme in the Arkham games (except Origins, which was created by a different studio), boss battles are lack-luster. Usually they involve a horde-mode of some kind; others require spamming batarangs and dodging.
    - The final boss fight happens from a locked camera perspective. Not sure who thought that was a good idea.

    Arkham Asylum is easily the game that will be remembered for redefining Batman in the genre. While later games in the franchise scale great heights of impossible heroism, it’s Arkham Asylum that remains the preferred choice if you just want to “chill with Batman” without the fate of all of Gotham (and perhaps the world) hanging in the balance.    … Expand

    - Incredible theme and atmosphere. The Scarecrow fight(s) are a highlight. One of the best interpretations of Batman I have ever experienced. I don't know if I've played a licensed game that made you feel so much like the character itself. This is by far the most impressive part of the game and propelled it to much greater heights for me. Given, if you are not a big Batman fan, this will not be nearly as important of a point.
    - Very well thought out encounters, particularly in the stealth parts
    - Combat is simple but does its job - could've been a greater focus in the game though

    Cons:
    - Very low enemy variety can make some of the encounters pretty boring later in the game. There are only really 6 different mobs in the game (with one of these being just a straight up reskin) and the game could've really improved on this front.
    - Boss fights are great thematically - but actually playing them out can be underwhelming. A huge number of them are essentially just remixes
    - Some of the environments can get a bit too samey - although this is of course a product of the setting, it doesn't make it any more interesting to look at
    - Poor facial animations
    - Technically was a bit strange due to the janky PhysX implementation
    - Context controls are a bit iffy - especially when coming back to these game from a decade after release. Batman too often does not do what you would expect him to do.
    - The upgrades are fine as best. While some of them do make a large impact, few are actually exciting or fun to play with

    Final Word:
    Batman: Arkham Asylum manages to intricately recreate the world of the Dark Knight through its atmosphere and world building - however it falls a bit short when it comes to combat and its age definitely shows on the technical side.

    Gracias a este juego Batman se convirtió en mis super héroes favoritos, tiene una gran historia respetando los personajes como en los comics, un hermoso motor que envejeció muy bien y una jugabilidad hermosa, en especial el modo de combate que hasta se copio la formula en otras sagas

    Признаться, я никогда не просто не был фанатом, но и вовсе не играл в игры жанра "стелс" (ну или почти не играл, если не считать некоторые инди-проекты). Даже сейчас, в 2020 году, спустя столько лет после    8.4/10

    Признаться, я никогда не просто не был фанатом, но и вовсе не играл в игры жанра "стелс" (ну или почти не играл, если не считать некоторые инди-проекты). Даже сейчас, в 2020 году, спустя столько лет после релиза игры, я был удивлён, насколько много в этой игре именно стелс-элементов, так как в памяти моей из 2009 года отложилось разве что "бессмысленное мочилово тупых мускулистых мужиков". Как ни странно, на файтинг (не такой уж и бессмысленный) в этой игре уделено, мне кажется, не больше 15% от общего времени, которое я провёл в игре, если не меньше. И при всём при этом игра оказалась невероятно насыщенной на те или иные геймплейные элементы, она просто-таки напичкана ими, что и не удивительно, ведь в Arkham Asylum нет открытого мира, или даже "условного открытого мира", как было в Assassin's Creed II, который я прошёл за пару дней до прохождения симулятора человека-летучей мыши. Кстати это абсолютная правда, ведь огромное количество времени ты ощущаешь себя именно что в шкуре Бэтмана, ползаешь по пещерам, пробираешься к злодеям через окольные пути в виде вентиляционных шахт. Именно этой атмосферы зачастую не хватает от фильмов по данному персонажу, и именно тут ты вспоминаешь, что олицетворяет наш герой в плаще именно что летучую мышь.
    О злодеях и других персонажах, которые занимают львиную долю основного сюжета игры, можно говорить много и все уже всё о них сказали - они прекрасны, диалоги с ними интересны и ожидаемы, битвы с ними запоминаются, и так далее. Эта игра, сочетающая в себе интересный геймплей и не менее интересный сюжет с массой интересных персонажей без различных статистов (снова мне вспоминаются бессмысленные и забытые всеми персонажи в первой части Assassin's Creed), действительно прекрасна и заслуживает внимания каждого любителя впечатляющих и интересных трипл-эй проектов.    … Expand

    Really enjoyable slick cinematic movie-esque Batman experience and all-round fun adventure for the worlds greatest detective. Really impressed with the production value and bug free play through. It all totally worked as in the story, trash mobs, bosses, fun gadgets, upgrades and ending. My only nagging thought was this would be even more cool in open world.

    One of the best game(if not the best) Action-Adventure game. Amazing characters, very good game-play and good story. If you have never played this game before than you should do it.

    Баги в игре полностью выпилены.
    Боевая система солидно смотрится даже в 2020, не говоря уже и о 2009. Графика в игре на должном уровне.     The Batman game that started the excellent Arkham Trilogy by Rocksteady Studios!

    Pros:
    + Story is good!
    + Gameplay is good!
    + Great voice acting by Kevin Conroy and Mark Hammill returning as their iconic roles as Batman
    and Joker!
    + Great world building and lots of easter eggs and references!

    Cons:
    - Gadgets could have been used more in exploration

    Its an amazing game with the visuals and combat is a lot of fun. Its great game for fans of batman and it has everything batman story should have. Sadly the final boss is bad and the end of story as well.

Класна картинка, класні рівні, колоритні персонажі (Світ Бетмена взагалі самий обширний та продуманий серед усіх коміксів). 8 - тому що далі нам покажуть, що можна ще краще.Перша дійсно ААА - гра про супергероя, класний сюжет, бойова система, яку згодом будуть копіювати усі. I mean, it doesn't try to pretend it is real, it doesn't try to immerse you or move you in any way but surprisingly it still manages to give you a hell of fun.     First of all, I don't like beat 'em up games. That's why I'm bored fighting in this game. But I think the fighting mechanics are well designed compared to other beat 'em up games. The overall atmosphere of the game is very good. It reflects the Gotham style well. The character voices and the design of the characters are very nice. The graphics are pretty good for the year. Music is nice.First of all, I don't like beat 'em up games. That's why I'm bored fighting in this game. But I think the fighting mechanics are well designed compared to other beat 'em up games.     I can say with confidence and cannot stress enough, Batman: Arkham Asylum is, without a doubt, the best Batman game ever created. It does more than give you the Batman game you want, it gives you a video game that you could play repeatedly, even if it didn't have the caped and cowled Dark Knight in it.
