The atmosphere is exciting (and if you are a fan of the great expanse, then very great to fly around), and the gameplay, although simple, is effective at being both fulfilling and fun. Do give it a shot if you have time to spare, and are aching to try something different.… Full Review »

Sure, the missions get tedious from time to time and the number of times they manage to restate and objective of "go here and kill all these things" is impressive, the reality is that it's a fun little game. It doesn't have Freespace's story arc, but it doesn't really need that. This isn't a game you bing for 12 hours, it's a game you jump in for a mission or two and then go on with your day. It's a great excursion into an uncomplicated world of arcade style combat where the most difficult choice you have to face is whether you destroy the enemy with missiles or guns. Recommended to anyone who loves a frantic shooter and isn't opposed to an hour of solid chaos to break up their day.… Full Review »
