Sep 2, 2025Bad Cheese stands out thanks to its visuals and the world it builds, which is only enhanced by the gameplay. However, a couple of technical issues hold it back from being a perfect experience.
-
Sep 2, 2025Bad Cheese works great as a psychological horror and has some wonderful visuals, where the horror comes from the unsettling nature of its ties to the house of mouse.
-
Sep 1, 2025Though it fails as a horror game, Bad Cheese is still a narrative-driven title worth checking out for the strength of its premise, its interesting themes, and the merit of its art. This parody of classic cartoons and Americana might not scare you, but you’ll still find yourself intrigued by what it has to offer.
-
Sep 23, 2025It all adds up to a game that feels like it was designed for streaming, not playing yourself. And while I don’t have any strong feelings about what people want to watch, in some cases I have stronger feelings about what people play, and this is one of those cases: don’t waste your time on Bad Cheese, because there are much more interesting games out there to enjoy.

Sep 16, 2025There was a nerve to explore, but instead we get slapdash jump scares that fool no one. It's a shame, because the game is really nice at times, but never quite becomes anything more at any point. Therefore, I cannot in good conscience recommend Bad Cheese to anyone, except perhaps for a quick look at the aesthetics.
