Aug 11, 2014I feel a little caught in the middle with Back to Bed. It’s a very stylish looking game with a unique surrealist bent but the puzzle mechanics don’t feel developed enough to fully engage me yet.
-
Aug 8, 2014Really pleasant on an artistic perspective, Back to Bed is a more than decent reflection game, not too difficult in that it uses its environments' weirdness pretty well to keep us interested.
-
Aug 6, 2014While this means in total the game offers 60 puzzles I felt while playing it that I could play the game for much longer. However the game's story been told in cut scenes throughout the game, and I don’t think that could have been presented as well with a longer game. Perhaps we can get more content in a sequel.

CD-ActionOct 24, 2014I wish the developers spiced up basic 30 challenges instead of putting their efforts into the additional game mode. [Nov 2014, p.74]

Sep 7, 2014Back to Bed is yet another indie video game that comes off as refreshing and brilliant at first, only to succumb a short while later at the hands of poor execution and limited overall vision.
-
Sep 1, 2014Back to bed is a decent puzzle game but its mobile soul spoils the experience and the inspired atmosphere is not enough.
-
Aug 7, 2014Back to Bed’s main mechanics are sound and well-demonstrated, but it rarely uses its surreal aesthetic as anything more than eye candy
-
Aug 6, 2014Back to Bed is an acceptable puzzle game with outstanding presentation. The gameplay simply leans too heavily on illusions to offer a top tier puzzle experience, but it’s worth investigating simply for the dreamy combination of M.C.Escher, Salvidore Dahli and Monty Python.
-
Sep 14, 2014Back to Bed is a bland puzzle that tries to stand out with a wannabe-clever art direction, that mixes together different masterpiece in a very dull way.
-
Aug 16, 2014As it stands, Back to Bed occupies an odd middle-ground, in that it manages to be both endearingly quirky yet fundamentally dull.
-
Aug 6, 2014The fundamental puzzles, especially the ones that revolve around a speedy execution rather than an intellectual one, aren't nearly as creative as the dream world they're nestled within.
