    Too similar to its elder brother ARK: Survival Evolved, Atlas is pretty much the same game, but with boats. The few good things it brings to the table are shadowed by a bad menuing and a core that never delivers its substance.

    Atlas's early access version is far too willing to unfairly destroy all your hard-earned progress to justify investing time into its otherwise enticingly explorable world. [Early Access Review Score = 48]

    Be aware, this is not a game at it's current state, also not an "early access" title, but a pre-alpha stress test executed by the communityBe aware, this is not a game at it's current state, also not an "early access" title, but a pre-alpha stress test executed by the community based on a product that was planned to be a mod (ARK-menu is still in the game) but out of financial reasons was made an "mmo" (it's not, they just call it mmo).     The fact that it uses assets from a previous title isn't a major deal. Plenty of game companies do that and make great games. The problem with this game is that the trailers pretty much lied and the 40000 players in a game was a complete lie.

    The game barely functions. The amount of players in the servers, which is well below 40000, are completely breaking the game. You have to either find a private server or buy your own which is completely unacceptable. Do not buy this game right now it is genuinely unplayable.    … Full Review »
