AC Valhalla gets just enough stuff right in its RPG-ized transition without blatantly copying fare like Dark Souls, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, The Witcher III, or Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Ubisoft's latest history-trotting murder-for-honor journey strikes a proper balance between "familiar sequel," "RPG homage," and "just fresh enough," while still being quite fun to play. In some respects, particularly its handling of side quests, it's actually better than Ghost of Tsushima, a similar 2020 game that I otherwise prefer. If you've got the time (quite a bit of time, in this game's 30+ hour case) to invest in the bloody, honor-bound journey of some cool Vikings, and the proper hardware for it, don't miss what AC Valhalla has to offer.
  2. For fans of the series it’s really entertaining. It might not set the world on fire, but you can set some virtual bits on fire yourself if you want. I think running towards an abbey with terrible purpose, yelling “KILL CHRIST! AND BURN HIS HOUSE DOWN!”, is the energy a lot of people want right now. I dunno how well that would play in Texas, though.

I'm almost shocked how well Ubisoft delivered with this one. 2019 was awful for them, so i wasn't expecting much, but Valhalla so good.I'm almost shocked how well Ubisoft delivered with this one. 2019 was awful for them, so i wasn't expecting much, but Valhalla so good. There's so much to do, voice acting is great, story is great, graphics are amazing. It's going to be something i'm gonna play until cyberpunk comes out. There's not much else anyway. Not interested at all in spiderman dlc. Full Review »

Positives, - Many combat abilities, climbing feels smooth, parkour is okay, graphics are beautiful (one of the best i have seen in 2020) ,Positives, - Many combat abilities, climbing feels smooth, parkour is okay, graphics are beautiful (one of the best i have seen in 2020) , story is 80% fun, very good soundtrack music / menu music is very relaxing.

Negatives, - Performance could be better at times (but overall it runs well enough), some bugs.

Conclusion, - It has so much content and can get little bit too complex at times, so some people who are used to more linear experiences like "Marvel's Avengers", give 0/10 or 1/10 to AC Valhalla and that's fine, good luck with Avengers! But to everyone else i would very much recommend it.
