Dec 5, 2011Revelations closes the Assassin's Creed journey with a familiar looking videogame, but a new iteration so epic and amazing as you might expect. It's a worthy end for the first volume of the series.
-
Dec 16, 2011This PC version is just what we expected. The same product we have seen in consoles, but with polished graphics to make the most of the power of the platform. It is not a game for newcomers to the series, as its story follows those of the previous game, but followers of Assassin's Creed will love it.
-
Feb 29, 2012It's the perfect closure for Ezio's trilogy; however, it does not offer something completely new and if you were getting tired by Brotherhood's mechanisms, Revelations will definitely not change your mind.
-
Dec 30, 2011Assassin's Creed: Revelations PC doesn't show any particular improvement than the console counterparts save for the imaginable better resolution and frame rate. Do not expect any DX11 eye-candy, then! As for the game, it is still great but we expect Ubisoft to introduce more changes as soon as possible.
-
Dec 16, 2011With being too close to its predecessor Brotherhood, Assassin’s Creed Revelations is not daring enough to forge its own path. Nevertheless, the game concludes the saga of Ezio in a satisfying manner and tells an interesting story in an even more interesting setting.
-
Dec 5, 2011The last chapter of Ezio's trilogy is everything an Assassin's Creed fan could expect. Sure, there are still the classical flaws of the saga, like the lacking AI or the too low level of difficulty, but the beauty of Istanbul and the desire to see the end of such a charismatic character like Ezio will prevail on imperfections.
-
Nov 29, 2011Quotation forthcoming.
-
Dec 2, 2011Revelations is Brotherhood 2.0. It's still a good game, but it lacks innovation, which will hopefully come with the rightfull sequel Assassin's Creed 3.
-
Dec 2, 2011You can't think of a better Assassin's Creed II finale and the plot of the last chapter of Ubisoft series leaves us wanting more, but new features are presented with a dropper and they definitely aren't a significant advance towards next game. Multiplayer mode is the big winner with Revelations, and it continues its expansion. One thought: it will have far greater importance in the future. A must for every fan of Assassin's Creed.
-
LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jan 19, 2012It's Assassin with all you love and hate, plus even more world control and bombs and genre experiments. Only the visuals are getting old while the foes are not getting any smarter. [Christmas 2011]
-
Dec 15, 2011A fitting end to the stories of Ezio and Altaïr build on a high standard of gameplay fitting for the series, ultimately held back by a lack of true gameplay evolution. Fans of the series won't be disappointed, but may find the wait for Assassin's Creed III made just a little bit harder.
-
Dec 13, 2011The magical city of Costantinopoli is the center stage Revelations, the last chapter of Ezio's trilogy. Another great historical adventure by Ubisoft.
-
Dec 1, 2011The gorgeous city of Constantinople takes center stage in Assassin's Creed: Revelations, another great historical adventure.
-
Mar 28, 2012Ultimately, Revelations leaves behind a bittersweet taste: it's the end of a saga (or two, depending on how you view things) and integrates fairly well in the timeline of the series, but... it's nothing more than a detour that answers a few questions, not an actual step forward.
-
Dec 16, 2011Multiplayer is the only thing that makes Revelations worth its price (and if you're still interested in the story, just go watch the ending on YouTube).
-
Dec 8, 2011Borrowing on the many strengths of Brotherhood, Assassn's Creed: Revelations delivers a fun and memorable experience, but it fails to stand out very well compared to the other games.
-
Dec 17, 2011Fires a salvo of ghastly, unwarranted features into its own guts, thankfully doing no harm to a defiantly enjoyable series.
-
PC PowerPlayJan 9, 2012A solid but unremarkable entry in a venerable franchise. [Jan 2012, p.56]
-
Dec 4, 2011I think the biggest "revelation" to come out of this most recent Assassin's Creed title is that the series has reached a burnout state. I hope the team takes a break and gets back to the drawing board to analyze how the series itself can move forward, and to be innovative again, rather than being hard pressed to meet a release date.
-
Jan 3, 2012If you're new to Assassin's Creed or the genre, go buy the first game on Steam, don't waste your time with this if it's your first entry into the series.
