    If you like the Assassin's Creed franchise, you're gonna like this game. In my personal book, this is where the franchise peaked. It is relieving to play a character that often does not take the philosophical aspects of the story as serious as he ought (or as serious as you do), and who evolves from an actual terrible human being, who betrays the trust of those who mean little to him, andIf you like the Assassin's Creed franchise, you're gonna like this game.     What an amazing game.

    I thoroughly enjoyed the maps in which the game was played in, the graphics were tremendous when being played at 1440p high settings. Although the game is quite badly optimised in terms of performance, my RX 480 8GB managed to power through most of the game. Awesome combat, i mean REAL awesome. Edward Kenway is a rocking protagonist to play as, i love the way    What an amazing game.

    My favourite part of the game was definitely Havana. Very fun part of the game, scouting the map collecting all collectables and assassination galore!

    Amazing game. Beautiful, polished, consistent, with great characters, rich in content. My progress with main storyline was really slow because there was so many interesting things to do along the way. It took 8 days of playing for 5-6 hours a day, it's quite unique for a game to take so long to complete. And it ended just about when it was starting to be overly long. However one thing to mention is that the performance on 99,99% of PCs will be absolutely awful. I was running it on GTX 1080 in SLI so I had no issues, but once I tried with single card, performance is really not good, and add to this idiotic double buffered v-sync that locks your FPS to 30 if you cannot maintain stable 60. And without V-sync it is a tearing disaster. The game is not less demanding than the newest and the most demanding games of 2016. I don't know how it would go if I played it on average setup, probably not so good, but if you play without performance issues then the game is absolutely wonderful.… Expand

    Had this game on my old Xbox 360 and now have it for the PS4. A great game, simply put. Side missions are fun and interesting. Naval combat is amazing. Hunting, crafting, upgrading your ship are all really great aspects of the game. Stealth is not really encouraged too much, but I myself just play it for what it is, a really great pirate game.     Assassin's creed IV is a masterpiece. The naval battles, the new addition to this game, are fast-paced, fun, and control really well. The main cities are also very detailed and are a joy to explore. The story is amazing, especially the ending, and the main missions are the most fun in the entire franchise with some typical AC missions and some new unique ones which are equally as fun.Assassin's creed IV is a masterpiece. There are tons of side quests to distract you from the main quest, such as the assassination contracts, which are really fun to complete. The jumping and climbing mechanics are executed perfectly, i've never had any problems while climbing buildings. The wii u version has a map on the gamepad, which allows you to see where you are going without having to pause the game, a really useful touch. This is one hell of a game, and a must have for any assassin's creed fan.… Expand

    I don’t quite know what to think about Assassin’s Creed® IV Black Flag™. The pirate parts and the open-world collect-a-thon are great, the story is nice, but movement and hand-to-hand combat is severely lacking when one is used to Arkham City levels of perfection.

    Not a big Assassins Creed fan but I loved AC IV Black Flag!

    Pros:
    - Pirates, ships and naval battles!
    - Caribbean landscapes! :)
    - Silly characters and better AI compared to AC III
    - Is waaaay better than III and AC Unity :P
    - Simple but fun multiplayer.

    Cons:
    - Lack of story and sidequest.
    - Still not a good port for non SLI GTX 700's (If you have PS4 buy that version!)

    Great expirience of playing as a "pirate-assassin". Sea battles and the setting was charming, as for me. Customizing your ship and Edward's equipment is interested. But shipping on the opposite side of the map for some skin for your bullet bag is too tiring, as for me. But I cannot say the same about boarding ships. I also loved the songs which your team singing during the sea travels.Great expirience of playing as a "pirate-assassin". Sea battles and the setting was charming, as for me.     The game itself is perfectly good, but the PC port is complete garbage. An i5 with a GTX1070 should not struggle to output a 4 year old game at medium settings.

    History: The game has a VERY interesting story, it manages to fit like stories of its predecessors with mastery, however the writers could not explain it with clarity and neither the depth to the personages, making everything very superficial.     Gameplay: Same as always. Same gameplay as Assassin's Creed III, but with a slight worsening, yes, it gets worse. On the other hand, Ubisoft was a little more careful about bugs in the game, something hard to find in that game, but still, but nothing that would hinder a game immersion.

    Graphics: There has been considerable graphical evolution since Assassin's Creed III. Water, rain, such as textures; all very beautiful. It is worth admiring the sunset as you cruise the Caribbean at the Gralha.

    This one comes second for me. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag improves immensely on AC III and introduces another fun likeable protagonist. This is definitely the best pirate game as well as the second best AC game.

    This game is for me on par with the AC Revelations game. It is a 9,5 which rounds up to a 10.

    It took the mechanics of AC III, used them well and also provided a very exotic setting, freedom of exploration and memorable story development and cinematics. And energetic music too.

    Is is a great long-lasting taste when looking back at this game.

    Ok it was not that bad because it played it before 2 months with GTX 1070Ti and I was late for the lag ,but for this that there was back in 2013 - -1 score,the story is interesting,the locations are exotic but its repetitive and the distance between locations is big and the time to travel is really slow...

The series for the first time rolled back along the time line: the barman Desmond Miles, being in the amazing device "Animus", traveled from the Middle Ages to the American War of Independence, but now the events moved half a century ago, when the Caribbean terrorized bukaniry.
    The new hero, thus, became the ancestor of the central characters of Assassin's Creed 3: Edward Kenway - the father of Kheitem Keneway and Grandfather Connor Kenway. And he's a pirate: after serving as a privateer during the recent wars between the metropolitan countries, he surrendered to the sea brigands, which, by the way, upset his wife, quite agreeing to poor farm life. In parallel, the old enemies of the Assassins and the Templars act in the colonies, and Edward accidentally gets involved in their affairs. All these adventures these days are parsed and recorded by the employee of the corporation "Abstergo", which seems to be going to make a family film from the material obtained. Edward - officially not seemingly an assassin, but he acts just like all the members of the brotherhood: he also fights, as he climbs on the roofs and hides in the bushes. Even the most trivial battle is a large-scale show: the vessels are spinning, aiming at each other, exchanging a series of volleys, everything is burning, smokes and explodes. In this context, even outdated mechanics work in a new way: long-bored fights and parkour for the time being carried away again, when you take on board a stranger ship, jump between the masts and fence with the enemy captain. Going to the open sea, you never know exactly what awaits you. You can run into other pirates, you can get into a storm, you can loot a single schooner or track down victims larger, you can buy a diving bell and dive underwater, you can search for treasure or storm fortified forts. Extraction goes for upgrades: if you do not increase the firepower of the Galki, you can easily drown at the first meeting with a small enemy flotilla. Finally, you need to remember the team. After particularly loud clashes, almost half of all sailors may die, and they will have to recruit new ones: rescuing captured gangsters from shootings and gallows, hiring drunkards in taverns, luring captives on their sides or picking random drowning aboard. If the first and third parts of Assassin's Creed claimed a kind of pseudo-historical production, then Assassin's Creed 4, like Assassin's Creed 2 - is rather a motley themed show from a casino in Las Vegas. Everyone walks in bright clothes, big hats are decorated with funny feathers, the killers wear complex systems of belts and belts to take a dozen pistols at once, and if a black beard appears in the frame (and he is by no means the only historical figure , which you will meet), then it will look like it would look in a cartoon.     Solid story telling. Fun noval combat, but it can get repetitive very fast especially if you are playing it continuously without doing other things. I did not play the assassination side quest much, but i think it is quite challenging and fun enough. There are a lot of things to do in the game, but as you might have already guested, the majority of them are not worth your time, likeSolid story telling. But other things like finding treasure map is rewarding. This is best to do earlier in the game since the money you get at the time worth a lot more than after the end game (It has more meaning) .

    Overall, this is a great game not only for an assassin's creed fan but also for anyone who love adventure game as well. Just make sure not to stick to doing one thing for too long.

    Uhhhhh. Am I the only one perplexed by the amazing reviews of this game? No one else was frustrated with the movements? climbing and jumping on everything but what you want? Granted your running. Never getting to finish an enemy because your character highlights another character before you can finish the one you have disabled? Or when you finish a memory and only than do you see the optional objectives and you get an 80% sync so you basically replay every memory at least twice. The memory where you have to kill the captain from the rope swing I will probably never get 100% sync even after trying 20 times. Visiting old friends optional objective is completely insane this will be my fourth time replaying that memory. And the countless times the counter attack doesn't work even though your pounding the key through your keyboard. I will most likely have to replace my keyboard. This game has been nothing but a huge frustrating stress. I haven't been able to enjoy this game at all just determined to finish. I really dislike you Ubisoft so much so that I go out of my way to make a review about this game.… Expand

    the game has it's moments and Edward is a cool character but my main gripe with this game is that at no point in this game did I feel like an assassin!!! It was JUST a pirate game with some forced long ass cutscenes in the middle to somehow link the game to the franchise. It's an alright game overall but very little to link it to the franchise.

Лично для меня всегда было приятно вернутся в эту игру, но больше всего запомнилось изменение характера персонажа после всех событий в игре. Если зайдет геймплей, то сюжет станет неплохим дополнение, недотягивающим, конечно, до предыдущих частей,Доработанные морские сражения, геймплей, исследование мира, неоднозначный герой и приключения - похоже то, что вы точно получите от этой части. Purtroppo qualche volta, in situazioni un po' strette, come ad esempio nelle conquiste di navi, Edward non rimane in guardia e si prende quindi i colpi in arrivo direttamente senza possibilità di difesa. A mio avviso rimane comunque divertente.
    Le missioni non proprio variegate, le cose da fare alla fine sono sempre le stesse; inoltre ho trovato particolarmente frustranti le missioni di pedinamento, che impongono di fare alcune cose precise e macchinose per essere superate.

    GRAFICA
    La grafica è discreta e ci sta per l'anno in cui è stato prodotto il gioco. Non manca però qualche glitchettino ogni tanto. Il peggiore tra tutti indubbiamente quello per cui, non avendo la nebbia volumetrica attivata, si vedono solo i punti da conquistare dei forti navali muoversi, mentre tutto il resto della scena rimane invariato.

    NARRAZIONE
    La narrazione parte in modo abbastanza lineare e con una storia piuttosto banale e scontata. Tuttavia non manca più avanti qualche colpo di scena e qualche personaggio dalla caratterizzazione molto gradita.
    Ho trovato particolarmente interessanti e significative le fasi finali, che non si sbilanciano nell'esaltazione della vita da pirata ma quasi anzi la analizzano sotto una luce critica ed universalizzante.

    Indubbiamente uno dei giochi più graditi della saga, e penso che valga la pena provarlo per capirne il perché!    … Expand

    Another Assassin's Creed game. I miss some things from the previous ones. But he also has some new, good ideas. I miss parkour. The graphics are currently not knocking down, but it is acceptable. Story is acceptable. However, it still plays well, boating, side missions or clearing the map is fun.
    I honestly really wanted to play.

    좋은 컨텐츠의 추가가 게임플레이 전체를 변화시켜버린 예. 다만 2편이후로 돌아올줄 모르는 형편없는 스토리텔링이 발목을 잡는다. 지붕을 뛰어다니는 기존 시리즈의 DNA를 많이 잃어버린것도 아쉬운 부분.

    Этот ассасин был чем то новым, вроде и продолжение косвенное 3 части, как бы приквел к ней с днк Дезмонда Майлса, но все равно игра стала чем то новым. Корабли, пиратская жизнь и возможность прожить жизнь пирата! Что может быть лучше?! Песни, боже, чего они стоят, в путешествие по морю слушать их просто невозможно устать. А физика корабля заставляет тебя чувствовать что ты реально за рулёмЭтот ассасин был чем то новым, вроде и продолжение косвенное 3 части, как бы приквел к ней с днк Дезмонда Майлса, но все равно игра стала чем то новым. Отдельная похвала за битвы с легендарными кораблями, они выдались лично для мня очень интересными.
    Из минусов хочу отметить слабый сюжет, как по мне он очень не очень, а то как Эдвард приходит к тому что бы стать ассасином просто в голову не укладывается, то есть действует он с начала игры как Ассасин, но становиться им не сразу, поэтому считаю что это очень слабо проработанный сюжетный момент.    … Expand

    Uma das histórias mais legais que já vi, jogo simples mais muito bom, infelizmente a ubisoft nunca dá a tenção merecida pra seus jogos, é horrível vc platinar o jogo e não receber todas as conquistas.

    Fans that were bummed out by Assassin’s Creed III will most likely find Black Flag to be a welcoming return to what they love about the series, with a great story, amazingly crafted world and smart additions to the sailing that make it a refreshing part of the Assassin’s Creed formula.
