    A whole new genre and a nice start for an epic series. But the gameplay is kinda too repetitive and the interface with controls is devastating.

Geçtiği dönem güzel, oynanış güzel, hikaye güzel. 2020 yılında oynadım ve biraz eski kalmış bir oyun. Renk teması çok soluk, fazla renk yok oyunda. Haritaları keşfetmek güzel. 10 ana suikast yapıyoruz. Bu ana hedefler için bilgileri haritayı açarak, yan görevleri yaparak topluyoruz. GardBaşlarda oyunu öğretme kısmı çok uzun sürmüş, sonrasında oyun baya açıldı. Gizlilik kısmı güzel olmuş.     The actual gameplay is fun, but a bit shallow. I had a good time.

    Fights and climbing are fun, but get repetetive soon.

    The graphics are very good for a 2007 game, they were ahead of the time.

    However, the amount of bugs (i.e. Leap Of Faith bug) that are still in this game after 15 years is absolutely shocking! Therefore, I can only give 6/10 points.

    I picked up this game again to do the campaign and I realized that the game has aged very badly especially in the combat, the parkour is quite fun and the graphics are still decent

    Однозначно прорыв своего времени, но на данный момент игра очень устарела, и играя в нее, вы не получите массу удовольствия. По большей части, как по мне, упор делался на паркур, бесячее управление на клавиатуре с пк, из-за которого я по сто раз падал с вышек или вовсе не мог нормально залезть в какие-либо места, убивает все удовольствие(Однозначно только для игры на геймпаде). СюжетуОднозначно прорыв своего времени, но на данный момент игра очень устарела, и играя в нее, вы не получите массу удовольствия.     I don't usually get bored of old games that quickly. A game with beautiful graphics for its year. And I guess that's the only good thing I can say. Also, the story isn't bad. But the handling of the story is boring. Because we always do the same things in the game. Classic ubisoft formula. Missions that are similar to each other. I'm so bored that I'm going to finish 100%. Still, I'mI don't usually get bored of old games that quickly. A game with beautiful graphics for its year.     The story is great the music also.

    Overall a good game and it could've been an easy 7/10 or even 8/10 if it wasn't for the amount of bugs.

А так первый ассасин чисто родоначальник вышек с бесполезным собирательством, а доп.миссии из разряда подай принеси, бойовка и геймплей достаточно унылы иИгра - детище Принца Персии, положившая начало любимому конвейеру Ubisoft. Open world is the worst in the series, a lot of repetative quests and collectables without any reward. From adventages can notice lore in modernity and dialogs, not bad parkour (but very infuriates that Altair is constantly falling).     the only flaw that makes, in my opinion, the game particularly boring and repetitive is the non-obligatory part of collecting the 420 flags and killing the 60 Templars.

    Even if the game has aged badly I recommend it because from the first part everything, in order not to have a broken story and understand what happens next.

Но детали этого сюжета интересны, например информация о цели или файлы из компьютеров Абстерго, которые раскрывают лор. Геймплей очень репетативен. Единственным интересным являются миссии по убийству целей, которые отлично поставлены, но не всё так просто. Для того чтобы убить цельAssassins Creed, по моему мнению, является переоценённой игрой. Сюжет очень прост: нам надо убить 9 целей. Но детали этого сюжета интересны, например информация о цели или файлы из компьютеров Абстерго, которые раскрывают лор. Геймплей очень репетативен. Единственным интересным являются миссии по убийству целей, которые отлично поставлены, но не всё так просто. Для того чтобы убить цель надо узнать больше информации о ней из мини-миссий. Они повторяются десятки раз и сами по себе просты: убить кого-то, обокрасть, передать что-то, подслушать и т.д. В конце игры они сильно утомляют. Также можно спасать горожан от стражников, но боёвка в первом ассасине слишком реалистичная и долгая. Да и сами противники к концу игры нападают на героя просто так. Потому боёвка тоже надоедает. Можно взбираться на точки синхронизации, и это не так скучно как остальное, в первую очередь из-за паркура и красивейших видов. И самое тупое собирательство в играх - флаги. В игре их аж 420! И за их сбор не дают ничего. Но не скажешь что мир пуст, ведь на улицах много народу и сам дизайн городов отличен. Ассасин предоставил революционный геймплей. Ты может забраться на любое здание и заниматься детальным паркуром с замечательными анимациями. Это первая игра, которая дала такие возможности. Графика отличная, не дать, не взять. Музыка от Йеспера Кида хороша, но мне кажется слишком серьёзная.
    Игра хороша в графике, дизайне мира, музыке, деталях сюжета и той же графики. Геймплей сам по себе революционен, но репетативен. Сюжет так-же не лучший. У разработчиков было 4 года на разработку и они могли сделать игру куда лучше. Это далеко не лучшая часть в серии и не тянет на высокую оценку. Но её стоит ценить хотя бы за вклад в игровую индустрию.

    Bom é onde tudo começou na franquia, nasce Assassin's Creed e morre Prince of Persia, mesmo com alguns jogos depois. Pra quem gosta de História no sentido de estudo e enredo e principalmente quando medieval, esse é um dos maiores nesse sentido. O jogo é mundo aberto com um ambiente realmente muito grande, só que sem muito o que fazer e o que tem pra fazer enjoa, uma prova de que nem sempreBom é onde tudo começou na franquia, nasce Assassin's Creed e morre Prince of Persia, mesmo com alguns jogos depois. Pra quem gosta de História no sentido de estudo e enredo e principalmente quando medieval, esse é um dos maiores nesse sentido. O jogo é mundo aberto com um ambiente realmente muito grande, só que sem muito o que fazer e o que tem pra fazer enjoa, uma prova de que nem sempre mundo aberto é o melhor. No entanto é sempre bom andar pelo mapa, sendo um dos primeiros jogos a ter o parkur. O combate é simples, mas satisfatório, só não recomendo fazer 100% pq dá tédio depois de um tempo.     I played the first Assassin's Creed more than ten year ago. I remember that it was a boring game, strange mechanics, non-engaging story. I had luck because I insisted in the others series. Definitely, the first A.C. was the worst of all.

    I fell in love with Assassin's Creed. But it must be said that only the second part. Despite that, I liked number one. The first part of AC from 2007 (on PC to 2008) will captivate at first glance with graphics. In my opinion, it is quite decent for a time. But what immediately stops you is actually the plot. You get to know Anima from the very beginning and you don't even know what'sI fell in love with Assassin's Creed. But it must be said that only the second part. Despite that, I liked number one. You play for Desmond, more precisely for Altair, because the game is about assassins, although we look at the present here several times. But now to the assassins. The main character Altair (I won't spoiler and how it all turns out) gets a task to find and kill several people after a few hours of playing. And here is the biggest stumbling block. The game has been story so far, but from the moment you visit Damascus (by the way, a really epic moment of the game) the game starts to be about the same thing. Come to a city, complete a few tasks and kill the person. Repetitive. Lifeless. At least for me. If we get something in the game, I don't mind, but we don't get any items here, or game currency or something that would motivate me to continue playing. So what drove me the most was the atmosphere of the cities, the graphics and the soundtrack, which gave each city a unique charm. But in the end, I have to say I was really staring. As if the game kept its best until the end. I don't want to hypothesize you, but the end will just start to be story again and we will even see an unexpected, at least for me, an unexpected turnaround. So, to bring it all together. Assassin's Creed 1 is a good game with very good graphics at the time, a luxurious soundtrack and a wonderful environment. Unfortunately, the story is not much here except for the beginning and the end. I passed the game only because I am a fan of the series and I wanted to have it complete. Despite the fact that this is a repetitive affair, in my opinion it is a good game, which I recommend but especially to fans of the series. This is probably my hardest decision whether to give the game 6 or 7. In the end, I leaned towards the better and take it as a pilot. So for me, a good game that I recommend.… Expand

    Игра очень даже не плохая а финал меня удивил, но механика убийств целей очень скучная задания повторяются боёвка не плохая но и хорошей её трудно назвать.

    Oh man this game has not aged well. The missions are all repetitive, The three cities that you get to explore all feel relatively the same. The only good thing that I can say about this game is that the parkour is done quite well.

Миссии- к сожалению перед тем как выполнить сюжетная задание нужно выполнить определенное условие,Миссии курьера-в одном слове скукота.Далее в игре есть синхронизация точек,так в игре есть собирательство флажков,и да наверно выпомните игры где нужна закрасить графити или найти кости динозавров так вот забудьте потому что Первый Асасинсрид хардкор потому что в игре нужна собрать 420 флажков да и при этом ты не получишь никакой награды,даже арбалета не будет.

    Музыка-в игре она довольна хороша,даже не смотря ни на что она серьезна,хотя это наоборот дает атмосферу тех лет.

    Короче первый Assassins creed имеет потенциал но к сожелению походу Юбисофт не удалось реализовать хорошо свои идеи поэтому вот такой не совсем удачный эксперимент получился. МОЯ оценка 5/10 и как по мне это достойна для такого первого эксперимента.    … Expand

    Well the game it self is rather mediocre but I liked the idea and expected more from the sequel. Gameplay is very repetitive: you get mission > go to the city > speak with NPC X and go to highest points to discover part of the map.

    I'm too lazy to write a big review, so briefly:
    The combat system for 2007 is not bad, but monotonous and primitive. The open world is large, but empty and sparsely populated. The gameplay is as monotonous and boring as possible, but I like it all.

    Pretty bare-bones Assassin's Creed experience, but fun nonetheless. The parkour mechanics are still good and although the story is repetitive, it has a great ending and provides an excellent start to the Assassin's Creed storyline.

    Ну ця гра - однозначно прорив свого часу. Вона зробила дуже багато для індустрії, задавши моду на багато років, але зараз я б її грати не став так, як вона неймовірно нудна та самоповторна.

Боевая система ничтожна показушная фигня, в которой ты 90% времени стоишь и мнёшь воздух ладошками пытаясь перехватить чужой меч(В режиме рукопашного боя игру пройти проще всего) Задачи которые ставит перед вами игра , могут быть полностью проигнорированны , если конечно не заскриптованы что бы вы стояли и смотрели как кто-то уходит с тупым лицом будто бы вы не могли кинуть ему кинжал в спину, с учётом геймплейной состовляющей.
    3. Сценарий. Есть дед , который как сборник цытат умничает пол игры , а потом оказывается главным дегенератом с тупой жаждой власти.

    Esse jogo tem muitos problemas. História confusa, repetitivo demais, e bugs insanos que te enchem de ódio. A única coisa que salva, é a inovação, primeira vez de um parkour mais livre, diferentemente do que existe na excelente saga Prince of Persia, seu “antecessor espiritural”.

    2) AI. Although the Nobel Prize NPCs do not deserve, but you can not call them idiots. This applies to both the guards and the civilian population. 3) I played the keyboard with the mouse and I was pretty comfortable. 4)    Advantages:

    Disadvantages:
    1) The plot. Although the game has a good starting point and an interesting topic, the plot after a couple of initial missions becomes dull and monotonous. He does not develop. I guessed about the betrayal of one of the characters in the middle of the game. And this is not because I am the most brilliant person on the planet, but because the plot does not try to hide the fact of betrayal.
    2) Characters. It's all very ambiguous. Although the main character has a certain charisma and logic of actions, to many he may seem impersonal. If in Assassin’s Creed 3 the goals of the Templars were noble, and the methods for achieving these goals were quite cruel, then in the first Assassin’s Creed the Templars are bad, simply because they are evil. It’s too early to talk about Desmond, since he was almost never revealed as a person or character.

    An OK game. At the time of release the graphics were incredible and the unique climbing system made this game appealing to try out. Unfortunately the story is not engaging, nor is the clunky combat, or repetitive simple side missions.

Unfortunately other than the map, the game didn't make use of the High Middle Ages/Islamic Golden Age setting at all. We didn't even get to see Saladin or the Saracens. Gameplay is so repetitive and theInteresting idea. This is a sci-fi game set in the modern times about conspiracy disguised as a history game. The philosophy about order vs free will is also quite thought provoking. Unfortunately other than the map, the game didn't make use of the High Middle Ages/Islamic Golden Age setting at all.     A good story and a good start for such a great series. First time when i play this game was , nah, it's nothing new. After i played more, he gives me a great story, a great gameplay and a great feeling about this game. One issue i didn't like was the game don't have subtitles.

The story feels awkward, with no immersion everything you do in the game you do in the first coupe of hours.

    The game sometimes forgets weather you want to jump down or go up and bugs out on some of the simplest climbing movements. Some games didn't save properly, and some broken missions caused me to restart several times.

    Also 4 a Assassin game, no stealth is ever needed for the main missions whats up with that?

    The dialogue beside the main assassinations are all repeats just like the buildings, gets old pretty quick.

    I can see why people like this creed, I do not.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. So, I recently got assassins creed 3 as it was bundled with these new headphones I bought. It was probably one of the best games I had ever played. So I decided to play though from the start of the series and become a dedicated pc fan.

    The story was fairly good in my opinion, great character development with some twists and turns along the way. But the actual gameplay was realy a bad exeriance.

    The game is split into I think 7 total memory blocks, you must go through each one in order to finish the game, the problem is, They're all essentially the same. you talk to a guy, he tells you to do 3 missions before you can assassinate the main bad guy. You have to do this up to three times in each memory block and it really starts to get repetitive.

    Another major flaw with gameplay is the free running system, it's fairly nifty and is actually quite fun..... When it works. I find that I am constantly havering to climb th same wall again because the camera angle was slightly off and the character jumped off the wall only to lose half his health and be killed by the persuing Templars on the ground. The free running in this game was so bad that I found myself rage quitting often just because i couldn't synchronise the surroundings to continue with the game due to the consant falling or slow climbing.

    Some may not agree with the last paragraph, but i can assure my keyboard works perfectly fine with games such as bioshock, team fortress 2 and titanfall. Anyway, the last problem I had with the game is the map. it is really annoying to use as she you select to only see primary objectives, it then switches back to all objectives once you leave the menu, not only that. But in order to progress you must essentially write the entire map of the world on your own, and I'm pretty sure during the game you are given a map of the town you are in multiple times.

    I have played some of the later assassins creed games and they fixed a lot of these problems, but I'm really surprised the franchise has been this successful with this game being the one that started it. It truely was a pain to get through and I am never going to play it again, nor am I recommending to anybody I come across.

    Thank god it's over now, I can start playing assassin's creed 2. XD    … Expand

El juego es de lo más repetitivo que he podido jugar en mi vida, una vez completada la introducción, el juego comienza a repetirse una y otra vez, haciendo siempre lo mismo, solo que con personajes distintos y en un ambiente distinto. A pesar de que la fórmula del sigilo/asesinato resulta novedosa y divertida, cuando comienza a repetirse empiezas a odiarla. Además intentan meter un pequeño sistema de sandbox que por suerte puedes comenzar a saltarte más adelante, porque solo consigue aburrirte y agobiarte aún más. Hay un solo tipo de misión principal, que se va repitiendo, y tres tipos de misiones principales, que se van repitiendo también.

    La historia es lo que salva un poco al juego, es algo nuevo, usar la historia ya contada de la humanidad como herramienta narrativa, quien diría que un juego tipo documental histórico podría ser tan enganchante. Y aunque en este juego no lo veremos en su esplendor, el final nos garantiza que los juegos que vendrán, serán algo mágico.

    En definitiva, es un juego que deseas pasarte rápido para poder llegar al desenlace de la historia y disfrutar de lo único bueno que tiene este juego, su guión. Por suerte, algunos ejecutivos decidieron seguir adelante con el segundo juego, y dar pie a una de las mejores sagas de videojuegos que existen. Porque si por este juego fuera, nadie creería que podría venir lo que después vino, y que mirando a posteriori podemos ver.    … Expand

    It takes a good 1-5 minutes depending on your hard-drive setup. Simply put, really, really annoying. Story itself is good but that one thing really just killed playing it for me enough to not    I will sum this game up by describing the most irritating thing about it.

    This game was like a dream come true for me. A lot of people complain about it being repetitive, shallow, boring, etc. and I can understand how they can say that. However I really enjoyed the freedom of movement and beautiful scenery. It's like you're a Middle Ages Batman! With time travel! I would've picked up the sequel on launch day if it wasn't for the overbearing DRM.

    All in all you can say that the game is good. The story is okay, but you have to do the same thing again and again, so it gets boring. The graphical quality and game-play are good. Only some bugs and glitches, but nothing to get excited about.

    Finally it's totally worth 7 points and you should play it

    Assassin's creed is a good game with decent story (although the ending was bad great graphic and some cool characters but the game is repetitive with the same missions nothing new so you'll have fun in the beginning and then you'll get a bit bored then disappointed in the ending but still it is not bad and give it a try

    I really tried to like this game and it does have some things going for it. It looks good, it has very open maps and the premise (being stealthy assassin) sounds great.

    Unfortunately this game is very repetitive. Basically every mission is exactly the same and every map has the same scripted things you need to do and can do. Optional side quests like "collect zillion flags around the map, to get nothing concrete" also don't help.

    It's also mind boggling why we need convoluted double plot. You see, all the assassin stuff actually happens inside this guy's head who is kidnapped by some organization in present time and placed inside machine that can play his "genetic memory". I really can't see any relevance or added value between this and the game's central idea of being medieval assassin. Granted that I didn't finish the game so I don't know if it starts to make sense at some point.

    All in all, the game is ok. Unfortunately, there are tons of better ways to spend your time than this game. It offers nothing exceptional or memorable.    … Expand

    The game was greatly advertised but with poor creativity. With very repetitive side and main quests. Really hope the others are better. It was good at the beginning and at the end, despite that, what motivated me to continue playing was the curiosity to play the sequels and due to its nice graphics.

    Graphics, detailed models and artwork are good. The game play is entertaining for a short time, the player only has skills of combat, but no perks or other tactics that employs the assassin, in other words has very limited capabilities.The game has no re playability, and has no Multiplayer.So far seen few bugs.The story and the main characters are good, make you keep playing.

    I would say this is a pretty good game overall. Nice gameplay, good combat system and a pretty good story with a fantastic ending. But this game definetly has it's bad sides too : The free run system has it's flawsand the guard system is just really messed up: Sometimes you can murder someone right infront of a guard and they don't give a **** and other times all you have to do is moveI would say this is a pretty good game overall.     A good start, but not more. The following games are better. Me missions are not very difficulty, but the open world feeling ist very cool. The graphics were awesome that time.

    Having played through, and for the most part- loving- the later Assassin's Creed games, I was really looking forward to seeing how the series started. Unfortunately, it seems there were some large growing pains with this first incarnation of the franchice. I have to agree with others who point out the repetitiveness of the missions once you get past the first three memories. The amount of time I have to spend synchronizing viewpoints and such just to unlock yet more-of-the-same types of missions is frankly exhausting. I can forgive the terrible combat controls and copy/paste generic NPC's everywhere, but if a game can't at least keep me entertained and wanting to see what happens next, it's just not worth it. Also worth noting is how wooden and unemotional Altair sounds throughout most of the game. The "animus translation" excuse just isn't sufficient for him to feel very out of place when compared to almost any of the other characters, whose performances are much more realistic. The modern-day exposition concerning Lucy and Abstergo is worth getting to hear, but not nearly good enough to save the rest of the game from being tedious and uninteresting. If you're a die-hard AC fan, you'll probably want it in your collection. Whether or not you'll be able to finish it is another question entirely.… Expand

    The game is nothing special. The assassin's creed series is fantastic but this game is just repetitive and boring, but it's not awful. It's easy, repetitive... blah. BUT, I recommend to play this before you play the rest of the games. Really, it's important. Anyway, it's a perfect port.

    The graphics, for 2008 are very good, but, ofcourse, compared to todays standards they're not really that great, at all. Especially the character models and animations can sometimes have me cringing in my shoes, but I'll survive. The scenery, and the "finish", the aesthetics, are wonderful, though. I like the "dirty" look/feel to the game graphically, and it conveys a proper sense of atmosphere to the time period. Textures could be bumped up, alot, though.

    Sound and VA works fine, but the lip synch is nothing special, at all. This generation has featured, even older games, with better synching than this. All in all though, it works, but its not getting a 10/10 based on sound, VA and synching though.

    Gameplay wise it is pretty repetitive, listen to this guy, do this guy's challenge, pickpocket that guy, beat up the third guy and boom you are set to assassinate someone who will give you another piece to the storyline. So far, for me, the story line does seem quite intriguing, which is, as far as I see it (in this day and age) the one reason to play this game now. Especially seeing as Assassin's Creed II, Brotherhood and Revelations and the future Assassin's Creed III builds onto this storyline.

    Combat is a bit odd if I have to be honest. Yes you can hit someone with the sword, or stab someone with your hidden knife. If you are discovered, well, hold down right mouse button and stare at the screen until an enemy attacks you, then press left mouse button, and said enemy will either die or be out of combat for a while. You will be pretty much unkillable with right mouse button held, and left mouse button will kill people for you. It is rather simplistic, and would have worked fine, with a few more kill animations. There are quite a few, but you see them soooo often that they get tedious in the end. The first few times are very awesome though.

    Camera angling and control is horrible, it sometimes just does whatever the hell it wants to do and your sat wondering "wtf?" that is pretty much all there is to say to it.

    By 2008 standards it might have been an 8 or 9/10, by todays standards it would barely scrape a 7, but then again, for the money it costs these days, there are quite alot of fun to be had, and the story is pretty good. So 7/10 from me.    … Expand
