May 8, 2023A disappointing follow up to a decent game. Ash of Gods went from tactical RPG to a soulless card game with terrible writing and a terrible story. It would be one thing if there was at least some originality to it but 90% of the artwork is literally just copied and pasted from the first game without any of the context. It’s just… very bad…

May 23, 2023Ash of Gods: The Way is a solid strategic deckbuilder; its strength very much lies in its ability to generate a puzzle-solving feel through a straightforward base ruleset and a wide variety of combat scenarios and conditions. While it ultimately may not last too long in the memory after the fact, the time spent with it is enjoyable and it makes for a pleasing mental workout.

May 19, 2023It seems that the producers decided to take a different path instead of making a sequel to Ash of Gods: Redemption. As a result, a nice hybrid of card game and turn-based strategy emerged.
