It’s easy to see what Ary is aiming for. The ambition is certainly there, but the execution is off. Way off. At best it’s a clunky mess. At worst it’s broken and near-unplayable. It’s clear Ary was in need of a few more seasons of development before release.

The story is interesting and there is some humour. The combat is a Zelda type of action. The problem is with multiple enemies that uses different types of defence. You have to use the season switching mechanism, but it's simply difficult to separate them. The graphics are cell shaded. Some area are better then others. There is a lot of clipping and limit drawings. The winter snowing and under water bubbles, are extremely tiresome for the eyes. The level design has large area with nothing in it, then you get the temples that are really too complex at times. No balance in the designing. I stopped the game at the winter boss, the one before the ending boss. By putting systems over systems, all you get are very complex combat that test the limit of the platforming gaming, and the patience of the gamer. So, the game experience went slowly from fun to painfully frustrating. I give the game 58%. The game is there but the realization is just too unequal on all levels. Full Review »

Good game, not the best, not the worst. Approximately 12 hours to finish it and good quality cutscenes and nice story
