    While Bohemians have got clueless and lazy to make any proper mission content. The new jungly map Tanoa was a worth of wait. It’s a shame the short COOP campaign is badly repetitive and unoriginal. At least the new 3D editor offer tools to make better content in few hours. [Aug 2016]

    ArmA 3 Apex is a welcome addition to ArmA 3. The island of Tanoa looks beautiful and there's lots to explore. Sadly the campaign is a bit short and you don't really get to use the new items there.

    Let's get bored to death with a game with so complicated controls that you'll end up in a shooting range in the beginning. Then go to menu to play a mission and instead you'll get an unskippable boring cutscene, where you can see developers names, which you can't read, if you're not Czech and you honestly don't give a flying f*ck about them.
    After few minutes of this cutscene, you're finally deployed....To a camp? Really? To drive a f*cking truck? Are you serious? C'mon...just give me somebody to shoot...for the christ sake...
    Then you'll get p*ssed so much, that you'll ALT+F4 this game and you'll not even try to play another mission.    … Full Review »

The “campaign” is basically few short missions put together. The physics and AI remain very poor and huge number of bugs from the main Arama are not sorted (as of Nov 2018). Realism? What realism? You open a door which pushes you and effectively you are getting stuck between it and a hand rail. Some debris might easily block you and you cannot pass through certain places, even though it looks like you should. Really, avoid this joke of a game. If Apex was free, I am not sure if I would want it.… Full Review »

Simply the best tactical shooter on pc, the attention deficit shooters like CoD and Battlefield drove me to this and boy it didn't disappoint, complex and difficult to get used to but it rewards you massively.
