Jan 22, 2024Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy is a compilation title that succeeds thanks to the quality and quantity of content on offer more so than the effort it has been given to remaster each individual game. Having said that, it’s a great way for veterans of the series to revisit these classics as well as a nice way for those who have been following up on these re-releases to finally catch up to all the mainline entries released thus far. Surely, this means we’ll get a new Ace Attorney game in the near future, right? RIGHT?! CAPCOM!?

Jan 24, 2024Though the new games are in many ways lesser than the original trilogy (only Spirit of Justice feels like it's not constantly chasing the coattails of the first trilogy), they're still well worth playing. Further, the high quality of the ports and their improved convenience make them the definitive editions of those games. If anything, I retroactively ended up wishing some of these changes had been added to the original trilogy ports as well, the better to make for a genuinely smooth beginning-to-end progression through all of the mainline Ace Attorney titles.

Jan 23, 2024Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy looks quite beautiful, but this is more due to the original design than any new improvements.
-
Jan 22, 2024The Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy brings some of the most divisive entries in the series with some needed improvements to the aesthetics. While it doesn't do much to improve on their flaws, it is still the definitive way to experience each of these games and relive the next chapters in the story of the original Ace Attorney trilogy.

Jan 22, 2024Time has been kind to Apollo Justice, but Capcom has been especially kind to the re-release efforts of the Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy. Much like The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles and the Phoenix Wright Trilogy before it, the Apollo Justice Trilogy is another fantastic effort by Capcom in updating and re-releasing its legacy courtroom battle games for modern audiences and with a few fixes and tweaks to make it more fitting for this day in age. Returning fans will be able to jump right into their most nostalgic moments with the series whenever they like and with plenty to come back to, while new fans can experience Apollo’s story in its best form yet.
-
Jan 22, 2024Ace Attorney is a wacky series, balancing murder plots and despair in the face of injustice with punny names and the supernatural. Despite this clash in tone, its narrative and character writing are strong enough to carry each entry and make this collection a worthy successor to Phoenix Wright’s original trilogy. Bringing these particular games to modern platforms is a worthy effort in itself, but Apollo Justice is guilty of going above and beyond to produce an experience worth the time.
-
Jan 22, 2024The three latter Ace Attorney games are certainly uneven, and the first two never quite reach the level of narrative power, or even general coherence, of the original trilogy. However, they do challenge the idea of what an Ace Attorney game can be and introduce some memorable characters in the process. Dual Destinies might be the sour one of the bunch, but Capcom wins the case of Apollo Justice v. the test of time.
-
Jan 22, 2024With this much care and love being put into refining this trilogy for modern audiences, the time is now for audiences to put some Justice on Apollo’s name, and thrust him out of Phoenix Wright’s shadow into a much-deserved spotlight.

Jan 22, 2024While the games themselves may vary in quality, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy still presents a pretty solid case for purchase.
-
Apr 17, 2024It's not the best trilogy in the series, but it's still a very fun set of games. It suffers a bit from spotlight sharing issues and the puzzles maybe aren't the most well-thought out, but the stories will pull you in and has some memorable characters to add to the full cast from the series. The visual upgrades are wonderful in almost all cases and makes it worth picking it up just to play on your PC monitor.
-
Jan 22, 2024Capcom completes the conversion of the Ace Attorney saga with a compilation that does justice to the three games that make it up. The remastering work is good, but some more extras would have been appreciated. A must-buy for Phoenix Wright adventure lovers, provided they already have the first trilogy that boasts even higher narrative levels and are not allergic to visual novels.

Jan 22, 2024Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy is a mostly solid port of a trilogy of games that are at best messy and at worst frustrating for all the wrong reasons. The series’ signature gameplay has been preserved very well, and the three games in the collection are a lot of fun to play, as long as you don’t mind the characters being all over the place. A bit more care could have been put into the PC port, but the complaints I have with the port are minor at best.

Feb 21, 2024Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy is the ultimate way to experience these classics for newcomers to the series, full of fun, mysterious but equally challenging trials.
-
Jan 22, 2024Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy is the best and most convenient way to experience three hilarious gems from the series with enhanced visuals.

Feb 21, 2024Capcom has done a job not only of compilation, but of remastering, adapting the illustrations and 3D models to high resolutions and I think with better success than in their previous trilogy.

Jan 22, 2024It's good to see Apollo get his time in the sun again, even if this trio of games don't quite do him the justice he really deserves.
