There are just enough puzzles to keep me interested and sucked into this beautiful world of AnaCapri.
-
The makers should be commended on another fine effort.
-
It was more like a nightmare than a dream for me. I didn’t enjoy any part of the game, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody.
-
Not only is there a huge amount of territory to cover and explore — a real surprise in an indie game like this — there are a lot of puzzles to solve. None of which I would call easy.
-
It is, to the best of my knowledge, the biggest point-and-click, real-world-image game ever created. Sadly, in all other respects, it gives even the least of its peers nothing to aspire to. It doesn't take long to realize that the full screen images of Anacapri (the place) are the only good thing about the game.
-
So, this is a pretty ordinary game that has potential in some areas.
-
Anacapri has more in common with the ancient gameplay of early '90s adventures than anything modern, but even as a pseudo-nostalgia piece, it's no fun at all.
-
PC GamerApart from its bonus Exploration option(a travelogue mode where you can hop to the island's prettier locales), Anacapri: The Dream is as compelling as cold espresso. [Dec 2007, p.76]

SylviaB.Dec 21, 2007A nice travelogue, but a confusing, strange and muddled game. Also, much too long and problems running properly in Vista.
