    Not as badly executed as other Trouble in Terrorist Town ripoffs but still it doesnt give anything special that would make it a unique game.

    Gonna be honest, the game quickly became bland. Even with friends, this game makes me feel bored constantly.

    Fun concept and even better with friends. I'd say it's worth the price and the maps are good, but the online services are terrible at the moment. It can be frustrating to host and join a game, but other than that it's a simple and fun game.

    A friend of mine gifted me copy of Among Us to try out. It is essentially an online whodunnit party game, and I personally quite like the whodunnit genre. It is a solid game that is also cheap, but is catered for a specific audience: players who can use voice chat and have friends to play with.

    If you play the game relying solely on text chat, you will probably get bored after a while if you are not often the impostor (the killer). The reason for that is, as a crewmate, all you do is go around fulfilling tasks and hoping you don't die. These tasks can get mundane after a while, and unlike the impostor, you aren't working your brain out to try to figure out intelligent ways to assassinate people.

    One thing that really bothered me is that if you host a server, it's bound to die after 1-2 matches. By that, I mean that no new players join. It's probably because of how the game handles the servers: they do not reset and bump old servers back to the top of the server list. This is an annoying inconvenience that could've been easily rectified by the developers.

    For a casual party game that only costs $5, Among Us is a bargain. But don't set your expectations too high. It is priced that much for a reason, and it is not meant to be played for long sessions. It's not that special of a game, and it feels like it only got popular because it is piggybacking off the recent hype behind Fall Guys, another online party game.

    In essence, if you are not part of the target audience for this game, it is probably not worth playing. It won't be nearly as exciting or engaging to play.    … Expand

    Pretty fun game with good idea. You can enjoy it with your friends. But after several sessions this game becomes boring. Among Us is still having a small amount of content.

    el juego es muy divertido pero el gran problema que le veo es que últimamente se a llenado de gente fastidiosa que te insulta si hiciste algo mal y vuelve el juego un lugar muy toxico :/ , también los hackers que han llegado arruinan la experiencia del juego (como la de cualquier juego en general) pero en concusión es mas divertido para jugarlo con amigo pero con desconocidos....no tanto....

The goal of the Crewmates is to identify the Impostor(s) and eject them from the ship through the interactive voting system, whilst the goal of the Impostor(s) is to eliminate the crew without being caught.

Тем забавнее моменты, когда при всей твоей искренности импостором считают именно тебя. В общем, действительно очень любопытная психологическая игра, в которую я каждому посоветую поиграть со своими друзьями. Вполне возможно, что такие игры и через 10 лет будут вполне актуальны, потому что подобные игры будут актуальны всегда, когда будут актуальны социальные взаимодействия и эмоции, испытываемые во время подобных игр.    … Expand

    To be honest back in 2020 Among Us was really fun experience, something new.
    Nowadays Intersloth made Among us an game service, with a progression, lots of cosmetics, and new strange mechanics.But i haven’t played nowadays, I don’t want to screw good memories of this game from past.

    The game of 2020 is a very simple game so I’m gonna keep this short and sweet. It’s fun i’ve played it hundreds of times and even with the hyped dying i’ve still gone back a few times there’s not much to it which is it’s strength as well as it’s downfall and overall it’s a fun game everyone can enjoy, not an amazing game on the grand spectrum but still just a very fun enjoyable simple gameThe game of 2020 is a very simple game so I’m gonna keep this short and sweet.     Among Us is pretty a good game for friends to play like it's investigate who murdered and people have to find out who is the culprit. But the times go by, the game makes unplayable because of hackers and toxic players since the popularity in mid 2020.     Well, it's because of the update, such an assessment, and the game is cool in the style of a card mafia, it's cool to play with friends to find out which of them is a traitor :)

    Fun gameplay, pretty good maps, but gets very redundant very quickly. Also doesn't have proximity voice chat in the base game which is something that could definitely make the experience more enjoyable. The tasks are also quite unenjoyable as well.

    Extra Notes: It's best moments are when you play with friends, but getting 10-15 ppl is hard and I rarely expereinced that. It had potential but I never got to see that.

    Had one good game in which managed to thrive as an impostor. All subsequent play-throughs ended up with me immediately dead or voted off. Still worth it. Gets old fast but a fun first time experience.

    Wow, this game died hard. Despite the developers continually adding to this game it is still not as good as it was in it's heyday. You can still find fun playing this game with a group of friends but public lobbies are just brain numbing. It's still the same game from 4 years ago but with added micro-transactions. Only download if you are planning to play with friends

    Fun experience for a little time.
    Getting bored after weeks/months.
    Reccomended to play with friends, old version also much better. New updates kinda bad and ruin the game in my opinion.

    its a good game, a great game even. i wouldnt say its amazing, nor anything, but if you pretend that its gaming community doesn't exist; then you are going to have a pleasant experience.

    The social deduction is fun, but gets stale after a while. The failure to add meaningful content outside of one update per year leaves this game in an awful state most of the time.

    Among Us successfully transfers the devious gameplay of in-person cloak-and-dagger games to video game form. Murder and deception on a whimsical cartoony spaceship is so much fun that the only real question is what took it so long to catch on?

    Anyone who can rally up some friends simply needs to give Among Us a try and feel the brilliant tension that builds up within the group as trust deteriorates and everyone becomes suspicious. [12/2020, p.42]
