    A cerebral challenge that has the right combination of historical perspective, easy control elements, well-designed graphics, and solid game play.

    Some players will be offended by the manner in which some cultures are portrayed. This is the most damning criticism that can be levied on America. Otherwise, it is a solid piece of work that is a great deal of fun to play, regardless of which campaign one chooses: Native American, Mexican, outlaw, or settlers.

    Everything it has to offer has been seen many times before in older RTS games. Old-fashioned gamelpay, lackluster AI, and obsolete graphics with a huge resemblance to the good old AOE are the main downsides to this title. Really not enough to make me ever want to load up America again.

    Everybody loves America! Uh, okay, not everybody. But I like the American theme. It feels like a good copy and expansion pack for Age of Everybody loves America! Uh, okay, not everybody. But I like the American theme. It feels like a good copy and expansion pack for Age of Empires II. If you like that type of game and want to try Native American, American, Outlaw and Mexican civilizations, get this game now! It is much better than the "50" average score and probably very cheap now because of all of the negative reviews!!… Expand

    "Been there, done that." Not a "must-have" game, but it's not bad, either. It does look a lot like Age of Kings.
