It's sad that Sigma-Team is such a poor studio, that they need to develop such small average titles to survive. If you've played their previous games from Alien Shooter franchise you will be surprised at how weak this game looks compared to them. I can run Far Cry Primal on ultra with no problems, but I can't run Alien Hallway because it's killing my pc... this is a joke, but at least the game is short and fun. I won't hate this one, because I got it for free from a friend and it didn't annoy me. 6/10, Pickens hardly approves! Expand

It may seem like "mindless strategy game" is a contradiction, but that's exactly what Alien Hallway is: an RTS with all the difficult decisions removed to make way for more explosions and ragdolls. And it's a perfectly satisfactory experience, although you're unlikely to ever want to return to it once you've beaten the campaign mode.

I am not sure how to categorize this genre, but i'll be bold and call it Offense Tower (as opposed to defense tower, where a player protects his base by placing turrets, in Alien Hallway a player sends soldiers to attack the enemy's base). A decent game for a beginning game designer, but definitely not polished. The game has all the components of a good leisure side-scrolling semi-strategy, with upgradable units, shops, money, grenade throwing and so on but it lacks depth: there is no story really, there is no premise, tutorials are silly as the whole writing overall, enemies are not explained (nor their skills), and strategy pretty much boils down to clicking on whatever units cools down first (to produce that unit and storm the enemy's portal). Good for one hour or so. Expand

If you've played the likes of swords and soldiers, this game will hold no surprises for you, except the phenomenally bad English. The graphics are adequate and it feels like a phone game. However, it's not terrible and some enjoyment can be gleaned from it.

its a kind of small corridor- attack and defense tower game, with lots of units on screen.

This hallway feels a little narrow. [Nov 2011, p.48]

Makes a very bad first impression with its horrible visuals. The gameplay mechanics are rather shallow. I've got prettier, more complex and cheaper games on my iPod touch. [October, p.80]

If Alien Hallway bothered to adopt the 'lanes' system of PvZ, it might have worked, but instead this headlong battle quickly descends into a repetitive brawl of little consequence.
