(From RPG fan pov) The game has a great premise but it does not deliver. I know it is in early acess but they say that the main story is completed... so let's talk about that. Do you want a big adventure like in Baldur? Memorable Companions? Forget it. I would even argue that there is no story in the game. Setting? Yes. World building? Yup. Great lore and stuff. But story? No... your character is just there in the world and needs to find 4 pieces of something and fight the bad guy. It's like a really big... fetch quest. There is no mystery, no turn, no... nothing. There is a guy... in the middle of the map. Your quest is to fight him. End.

Frome feature pov there are a lot of bugs, really weird design choices (who the hell thought that lack of mouse control in menus is a good idea?), the game is totally unbalanced and stuff like that. But it's EA. I would forgive all that if there would be an epic adventure somewhere there. But there is not.

Sadly it feels like empty shell.

barebones mouse and keyboard support, no key rebinding, this is a joke. unplayable and refunded.

Very immersive atmosphere and easy to learn controls, the game itself gives you an old school feeling of exploring the fantasy world instead of rushing from marker to marker. The graphics and scenery are breathtaking, and interface is neat and tidy. The soundtracks are fitting in every scene. The game is worth re-playing at least once, and maybe more.

Alaloth: Champions of The Four Kingdoms is a bold, heartfelt tribute to classic isometric action-RPGs. Its souls-like combat demands dedication and strategic planning, while the open world of Plamen delivers dozens of hours of dungeons, lore, and emergent surprises. Minor technical rough edges and a steep learning curve do little to diminish its retro spirit or solid PC performance. A must-play for fans of challenging, old-school RPG adventures.

A title combining oldschool RPG and demanding action RPG for an original, if sometimes very (too) difficult journey.

The freedom to explore a gigantic, living world proves to be a bit of a double-edged sword. Exciting exploration, nice boss fights and the thrill of conquering a world spars against dry writing and a touch of repetition in the combat.
