When I began playing this game I got the same feeling I got from Insanity, that it's basically a bad game, but being such a weirdness-lover as I am - I found it an oddly appealing experience.
Afterfall Insanity managed to keep that feeling up to its bitter end, while in Reconquest it simply faded away as quickly as it came.
It's not an actual "sequel" and it's very different from Insanity, almost completely. There's some potential in this game but it fails to shine just enough to make this game an enjoyable experience.
The music gets repetitive and annoying, such as the combat and gameplay.
The little voice-acting that exists in the game is usually horrible, and mediocre at best.
The story seems intriguing at first but becomes sloppy and clumsy towards the end.
The enemies are very few and alike, there's not much variety.
The graphics are supposedly unique but I got tired of them very soon, perhaps I would have enjoyed it if the other aspects of the game weren't so disappointing.
For some reason I can't even see this game in the steam store anymore, it magically disappeared from my region. Fortunately I'm not very intrigued by this series anymore and not really looking forwards to episode 2.
I got this game pretty cheap on a sale and sadly I wouldn't recommend it much even for free..
Hopefully future products of this company would be less disappointing and more polished, as both of its games seem to hold a lot of potential and yet fall flat on their face.… Expand
