The final version of Afterfall Reconquest Episode I isn't as bad as the Early Access one, but some major changes show a development process without a clear direction.

I love the post-apocalyptic genre an this game does the job well.

It employs a very original black&white graphic style, where only red is being distinguished. The comics-style cut scenes are awesome.
The story is not linear which makes the game a good value for its price.
However there are some cons as well, these include some grammar in dialouges, some bugs in the game and perhaps for some - no option to change the game visuals into color mode (unless you want to edit .ini file - it's possible).

As a fan of post-apo games I give 9, if I was not a fan of apocalypse perhaps I would give 7.

Also, it's current state will be it's 'forever state', since the Afterfall episodic series got discontinued after this title. The devs got a massive backlash from the early access user base when they changed the game from gritty to 'artistic B&W style' and refused to back down from it.

Speaking of the B&W shader stuff, it's really bad. Like, really, really bad. Like huge amounts of bad. Like really huge amounts of bad.

More likely the software house that developed this game was a bunch of rich kids who really didn't care if they messed up stuff 'cause they can always return to their rich parent's house.

Awful visuals, somewhat nice music, bad voice acting, mediocre animations and a story that could be interesting but it's now truncated: that's what you should expect from this game.
