Jun 15, 2017AereA is a family-friendly adventure that bursts with colorful characters and exuberant music.

Jun 19, 2017Aerea‘s story is great, the concept is lovely, but the execution doesn’t hit the right note. It’s colourful, full of bombastic music and character, but lacks depth and fluid gameplay mechanics.

Aug 4, 2017AereA’s priority is to make the player feel totally engaged in a mystical world that has been fully committed to representing the power of music. I found myself astounded at how many mechanical holes this game contains when its visuals are so contrastingly stunning.

Jun 8, 2017Despite a promising aesthetic style, the game’s formulaic story, lacklustre gameplay, and buggy mechanics make for an experience that is difficult to recommend. Better, more interesting titles in the genre are a dime a dozen, but unfortunately, not many of them offer local co-op. I will therefore conclude by saying that you should pick this game up only if you’re specifically looking for a couch multiplayer game to play with your friends and family. If you’re looking for a single-player experience, you’ll be better off looking somewhere else.

CD-ActionSep 25, 2017You enter the philharmonic hall, you take your seat and listen to musicians tuning their instruments and the audience whispering. Then the noise dies down and... that’s all, you can go home. That’s exactly how Aerea feels. [09/2017, p.59]
